I have purchased a new bike from Sun along with my club we have purchased 50 bikes from Sun not to mention parts and service. We deal exclusively with Reed who treats us like royalty and always pushes for the best deals in the state. They are extremely honest, fair, knowledgeable, and appreciative. There isn't another dealer nor another person I would rather do business with namely Reed, I can think of if I was going to purchase a Harley. Period read more

I started out at another Harley Davidson dealership in town because it was closer to my home. I felt like I was getting the run around. So I called Sun Harley Davidson and I was put on the phone with Chad. Right then I knew this was the place I was going to buy a motorcycle from. With the help from Dave B. And Chad I was on my new motorcycle in no time. My experience with the other dealership made not even want a new bike. The guys at Sun Harley Davidson really turned it that around for me. Every one was super helpful and super knowledgeable. Chad really knew his stuff and he was one of the reasons i felt comfortable with my decision to go to Sun Harley. I see why they are the oldest H-D Dealership. I give this place and it's staff 10 stars because 5 is not enough. read more

I would never again purchase anything from this dealership, nor trust them to service my bike. Sidenote: In what is going to be a VERY negative review, I do have very positive things to say about one of the sales associates, Reed. He tried his best to help me resolve my issue, and was great at communicating throughout the entire process. If at some point he goes to work at an honest dealership, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him as a great person to buy a bike from. So, the story. in November of 2017, I purchased a used 2017 Ultra Limited Low from Sun, with under 3k miles on the clock. Over the next few months, I brought it back 3 TIMES for issues with the front end. The front end was not correctly aligned with the front forks (easy to see when riding the bike), and the front end had a bad wobble when letting go of the handlebars around 40-50 mph. On the third time, I was told that the service techs had "torn the front end apart, measured everything and put it back together and it should be perfect". While riding the bike home, I noticed the alignment was still slightly off, and there was still a wobble. At this point, I gave up trying and assumed the problem was just a sloppy build from Harley (apologies Harley!!!). Fast-forward to November of 2019. I brought my bike into Pike's Peak for its 10k service. They noticed that the fork seals were leaking (covered under my service plan), and they said it would be fixed for free. When they took the front end apart, however, they discovered that the fork tubes had not only been scored by an incorrect installation of an air deflector (by Sun), but that the tubes were bent. I contacted Sun, and they not only confirmed that my bike had been in an accident, but that their own service department had performed repairs on the front end due to that very same accident. The big problem here is that at no point was the accident disclosed to me when I was purchasing the bike (illegal, immoral, unethical, dishonest). I wouldn't have bought the bike had I known that. In addition, their service department either lied when they said they tore the front end apart to fix it, or were so incompetent they failed to notice the bent fork tubes. So, I was offered a new set of fork tubes (Reed helped out in a big way with that), and although it took about a month to finally get them, Pike's Peak installed them for me as part of the service I was having done (guess what? Alignment is now perfect, and the wobble is gone...what a surprise!). During the time we were waiting to receive the fork tubes, I had asked Pike's Peak if they could put my bike back together just so I could participate in several rides my organization had going on. Pike's Peak informed me they couldn't do that because my bike was not safe to ride. So, due to the dishonest sales practices at Sun, I purchased a bike I never would have bought had the accident been disclosed, and I had been riding an unsafe bike for the past two years. I contacted Sun to give them an opportunity to try and make things right, and they refused to do so and even told me that had the owners been informed of the replacement fork tubes, they wouldn't have even done that. Sun knowingly sold me a bike that had been in a wreck without disclosing it, and allowed either liars or unqualified technicians to work on my bike, putting my own life and safety at risk, not to mention the life and safety of my passengers. DO NOT trust these lying crooks with your hard-earned money or your safety. read more

As usual friendly staff. Only with the parts guy was a little more experienced. However, he had his team mates there to help.

Delt with this dealership twice. Once for motor cloths, one to purchase a used bike. Both experiences the same. Waste of time. Was buying a used bike, sent app to HD which I expressly asked not to happen. long ans short of it, they dont care. read more

Sun Harley-Davidson - They don't keep their word. After agreeing to deal, and signing it they backed out and wanted to charge me double to sell them my bike. Bad - Motorcycle Dealers Near Me - Denver, Colorado

Absolutely atrocious service. I purchased my bike here (which was a great experience), but their service dept has been nothing but a nightmare. Their service dept is incredibly unprofessional, never know what's going on, and take FOREVER to do anything. They will never call (out of the four times my bike has been back...inside two weeks), they called me once to tell me my bike was done. Another time, I just went up there and they couldn't find it. Most of the time, they will tell you it will be done (or -- at the least -- they will call) on X day, only to exceed it by twice their estimate. I genuinely hate dealing with them. Go ANYWHERE except here to service your bike. read more

The worse service i ever received in my life, i almost bought two bikes for me and my wife, their GM think people are stupid, They wanted to charge me 189 dollar a doc fee? all other Harley dealers don't charge or they charge 55 dollar that's about it! they kept increasing the price slowly after i put the deposit. BE WARE buyers, they don't care about their customers, only the sales agents do because they make their incentive off the deal but their management sucks! i will file a complaint with BBB $189 rip off fees read more

I have had problems with financing lying to me, it takes two attempts to get the right parts on multiple occasions and now the service department. I make an appointment for 5 k maintenance, bring in the bike show them three things to check under warranty. I call at 3:15 and they are just getting to the maintenance service done and nothing else has been checked. I get a call at 4:40 two items still need to be checked at it will run into tomorrow. The appointment was originally made so I could wait for it but since I had three additional items to add I told them I would come back to pick it up. 3:15 and you are still doing the maintenance service? Last time I ever use this place for anything. Stay away everyone! read more

Very impressed with the honesty of the parts and service department. Paul charged my battery, helped me get a tender/charger picked out. Most importantly helped me get what my bike needed and didn't try to sell me a bunch of crap I didn't need. I will be back. read more

Made an appointment to get tire changed and oil change done. Took bike and tire in and service person asked if I purchased the tire from them, I said no. He said they would not change the tire out but would do the oil change. I quickly said no they would not be doing the oil change and left. That's a pretty good scam, if you don't buy the parts from us we will not change them. Took it somewhere else and they were happy to change it out. No more business from me...ever!!! read more

I have purchased 3 bikes, numerous parts and motor clothing from Sun. As a business owner I am always evaluating customer service. Sun Harley is the best in town. From the front desk staff (Gina) to the service department the customer service is top notch. I have bought bikes from Dan who is now in parts. What I appreciate about him is he always remembers my name and truly cares about me and my motorcycle. The women in the motor clothes department are also wonderful in helping to find the right gear. Keep up the great work Sun Harley! You have made a customer for life!!!! read more

I was looking to buy a new Harley , talked to Duane and after 15 minutes of him talking about himself and how smart he was I still could not get a price on the bike. I cant say if that is all his ego talking or just a sales tactic so you buy a bike without knowing the price. Never got a price so I bought at Mile High HD. just tell me what I want to know I dont care how smart you think you are. read more

I can't imagine anyone having a bad experience here! It has been my husband's dream for as long as I've known him to own a Harley and Sun made it happen with style. We started shopping at another Harley dealer up north and were treated poorly so we came to Sun. When we decided to buy it was our intent to go to all of the Harley dealers in the area and see where we would get the best deal. But, after our original visit to Sun, we stopped looking. The service was the best I have ever had with buying any type of vehicle, bar none. Our goal was to buy a bike, have the dealership make a little money and not walk out of the place feeling robbed. They did that and more! It was a no pressure atmosphere because, hey, if you're looking at Harley's- you will probably eventually buy. They did a great job getting the exact bike my husband wanted (from another dealer) in a timely manner (the next day) and the deal was done with a handshake. When we came in to pick the bike up and pay, everything was in order. One thing that cracked me up was "the joining of the brotherhood". Once you buy a Harley, my friends, you are a Harley owner for life. Each person we were introduced to (service, parts, accessories) congratulated us and asked us what we bought. I thought for sure we were going to be taught a secret handshake. Instead, we got cool free t-shirts!! There was one unfortunate thing that Sun had no control over, yet they made it right for us. By the time we got all the paperwork done, getting accessories, etc., our insurance carrier was closed for new policies so my husband couldn't ride the bike home. Total bummer. To top it off , the next night my husband was going out of town so wouldn't be able to pick the bike up for a few days. Sun Harley delivered the bike to our home, parked it in the garage, shined it up a little - and the bike was waiting for my husband when he got home. Awesome!! Only a 5-star rating for this dealership will do!! read more

Truly one of the best dealers in CO, great sales, Reed Holmes, service, motor clothes, and management, Duane. Just bought my 2nd bike from them, I won't shop anywhere else. I live 1 mile from Rky Mountain, but still travel the extended distance for all my services and major purchases. read more

Be careful regarding the price they give you on the floor and what they put down on the paper work. I was quoted $11,500 but they put $12,999. I also have great credit but they said the best they could do is 12.99% interest. I went to my bank and was able to get less then half interest rate. That is when I discovered the $1,500 increase in the price. I have taken by business somewhere else. I went with their credit union and was still able to get less then half for the interest rate. read more

Worst customer service ever!!! Do not take your bike into the service department. They returned my bike filthy dirty, job not finished. Simple tuneup but it took them over three weeks. I've had multiple bad experiences with the maintenance department at this dealership. I had them install a security system on my bike and they wouldn't tell me how to reprogram the pin and wanted to charge me to do it. I had a bike fixed here as well and there parts guy said that there's is no LED headlights for my model even though I was looking at the part number online. I ended up giving them the part number. They than called me and tried to tell me that my battery was bad when my bike was getting fixed. The battery was 3 months old. When I got my bike back, it had a dent and red paint(longer than a dollar bill) on my black bike. The headlight wasn't installed correctly. Every time I've had my bike serviced here, I've had problems. The first few times I thought it was just a one off thing. After the 5th incident in a row, this place just sucks. I wouldn't recommend this place to a crack head trying to sell used parts. read more

Beware of Harley Davidson! I just bought a used 2007 H-D 1200XL Custom and my first purchase at the local dealership resulted in one of the parts sold to me being incorrect with wrong installation instructions. This left me with a headless bolt since the instructions said to drill the head off and I had no tools to remove the bolt shank. The local dealership manager & another employee both acknowledged the H-D catalog/instructions errors, but said I would have to schedule an appointment for the 5 minutes to remove the bolt and pay the minimum 1 hour shop time fee ($80)! So much for H-D making it right with me ... they just saw it as an opportunity to pad their revenue. This was a relatively simple external part and I cringe thinking of what might happen if H-D performed a more involved service. I will never again patronize the dealership nor buy a Harley Davidson. Since there is only one local dealership, my plans are to sell the bike and buy one from a different company. read more

Bought a brand new Road Glide. The salesman was fairly new and really didn't have a lot of knowledge about the bike...it really sold itself. He was a nice enough guy, just lacked knowledge. Where our real issue comes from is their lack of professionalism; the General Manager and Sales Manager. By failing to follow through with due dilligence, their sales manager made an error in our transaction, one costing us over $1,200 and they both tried to put it back on us. I work in customer service and I've always lived by the rule, if I don't know the answer for a customer I tell them so, find out the correct answer and get back to them...integrity in the sale and service is what this means to me. I totally understand some people may have had good or possibly great experiences at Sun but in customer service industries it's really how a business handles their error, putting a customer in a bad situation, that defines who they really are. Easy sales are, well just that...easy sales and easy to give the impression of good customer service. Don't get me wrong, we love the bike but wished we would have purchased somewhere else; a dealer with more integrity. read more

I can not express enough how awesome this dealership is. This is our second bike we have purchased through sun and have came away both times with an amazing experience. First off, Matt the salesman is amazing, he knows his stuff, is honest, reliable, and cares about his customers. We will always come back to buy through him and will refer all our friends and family to him. Second of all, David the manager is awesome as well he really did a lot of work for us and did an excellent job. Roxie is amazing as well. Nothing but good things to say about these people. Would highly recommend if thinking about purchasing a bike. Great job guys! read more

Was recommended here by a few friends and coworkers. Having been to a local competitor just a few days prior with a horrible experience I was a bit skeptical. Worst customer service I have EVER seen. One employee was completely rude and unprofessional over the phone: answered with "yeah?" and then proceeded to question how I got the number... Uh I called Harley and was transferred?! All I wanted to do was talk to the service department to see if my bike was ready, since no one bothered to call me. Then he hung up on me. I had to call back and ask for a manager. The MANAGER proceeded to talk down to me and treat me like I was in the wrong for being upset with the experience. All I was trying to do was let him know what happened, so that he could talk to his staff. I figure customer service is the industry he's in, right? So isn't that important? Apparently not to them. So, they may seem super nice to get you to buy a bike, but I'd suggest going ANYWHERE else if you want any semblance of ongoing customer service. read more

I purchased 2 100th Anniversary Sportsters from Sun in 2003. Both have very low miles. I had the worst experience EVER when I took both bikes in for a 5k maintenance. On one of them they cranked the sending unit (?) that goes to/from oil filter that is connected to the whole bottom case too tight and cracked it all the way along where the oil filter is attached, thus, causing it to leak like crazy. Their way of "making it right" was to weld it and grind it down, which now depreciated my bike by a couple grand. They will NEVER receive one more penny of my money and I advise you not to too!!! They are bad news. I am not done with them, as the corporate office in Milwaukee has been contacted. DO NOT BUY OR DO BUSINESS WITH SUN ENTERPRISES!!! read more

All dealers will say they live certain values when it comes to creating a partnership with their customers; experience shows us that very few actually do......Sun Harley-Davidson is one of those dealers that sees their potential customers as future partners and not just a transaction. I did my due diligence, shopping around; looking at internet offers and visiting other dealers. No one else was as straightforward about what they could do on the bike than Sun was. Reed is a top notch sales-person who took the time to help me understand which Harley was right for me. His expertise in the world of Harley, his encyclopedic product knowledge and his genuine desire to serve his customers in their pursuit of motorcycling are unmatched by any sales person I've ever met. read more

I don't think so, not any more! I use to travel the extra miles to give this company my business, but after my experience with (Troy) in the service department this past Saturday, I must re-evaluate the integrity of this company. After dropping off my 1999 road king on 11/8/14 for an insurance claim and explaining to gentleman that I'll probably not fix it due to age the high mileage and. that I'll probably be trading it and upgrading for my trip to Alaska here in the near future. After waiting a full week for some kind feed back I decided call and find out why I haven't hard anything. Come to find out they had not even gotten to the estimate yet, the person I spoke to claimed they getting the estimate together as we're speaking. On Tuesday 11/18/14, I finally heard from my insurance company after Sun Harley dragged there feet for a week. All can say is that I'm glad I called on the following Saturday to check on my bike or this company would have charged me for 2 weeks instead of one storage at $25 a day, due to their lack of communication with the customer. Thanks a lot! (Troy) It's not the Insurance companies slow service it was yours! Way to stick to the customer! read more
