Had the hammas and oil massage, on 2 separate occasions. The first time l had 2 different masseuses. Not a perfect experience but not too bad. I tipped each masseuse $10 total $20, on a $100 bill. They both seemed satisfied. A couple of months later l went for the same massages this time with one masseuse. I noted she was very insistently pushy at the start about a tip. Again the experience was OK. At the end l gave the required GST on $100 and because the masseuse did both massages instead of a $10 tip gave her $18. She started arguing that this was not enough, trying to bully me into tipping more. I just left the $18 tip and walked out. Never ever going back. Bad experience. read more

I made a phone reservation for a Hammam. When I arrived, I was taken aback at its very un-Spa like atmosphere. The reception area was untidy and the place smelt like a restaurant with an aroma of Asian food instead of a spa! I liked their body massage...I would give this 4/5 But their feet reflexology wasn't really enjoyable, which was a 2/5. Thus, overall 3/5. I like their customer service...although they say they close at 1030pm to me and my mom which made us feel bad, but they took us in from 10pm-11pm, but their business hours sign say they closed at 11pm... which was why we made our appointment in the first place. This a review for myself and my husband. I wanted to go here as an affordable option to get hamam and a massage with my husband on our honeymoon while staying here in Vancouver.He was not interested in the hamam so just got the reflexology and an hour on the table. Let me just say I personally had a five star experience up until I saw my husband after the fact. I was too lazy to exchange my usd to cad so I got to pay using an app on my phone. The lady insisted we tip after. I said ok and put my stuff in the locker. The hamam is amazing! I sat in the small steam room for about 20 min then I got out and laid on the table. This lady scrubbed me from top to bottom and poured hot water on me as she went. Then she takes this pillow case thing and make giant piles of bubbles. Then she rinse that off. My skin was smmoooth! I have bad back problems and she was really nice about helping me move around and dry off. Next came the massage. She was awesome! Hopped up on the table and spent a great deal of time on my trouble areas. I didn't tell her about problems but she really got in there. When I got dressed my husband tells me his table massage was awful and the woman asked him on three separate occasions for a "happy ending" she finally left him alone when he told her that I was the one with all the cash. My wife got a groupon package for a 120 min hammam and massage. She said that the services were good except the steam room door was not closing so she had to hold the handle to keep it closed. Also when she was about to leave she was forced to leave extra tips by some men at the front possibly he is the owner. She said that everything was ok up to that point. She wanted to become a regular customer but not anymore. She left twice as much tips as she planned and feel bad after.So the groupon was 100 $ and she gave 40$ tips...because she was forced to pay. I personally enjoyed my multiple services at Feet-fun. I never had hammam and grommage before anywhere else. Bring your swimsuit from home is good advice, if confused about hammam and grommage. The first language used on the telephone could be Chinese. Feet-fun seems to be a new spa, in a very Chinese-oriented area. Sandy has authority, like she is the owner. Sandy seems to start work at noon, even on Sundays. Several men work at the spa but I only have seen two, female masseuses. If you want a Chinese-born masseur I'm advise that you should mention that when booking an appointment on the telephone. One of my masseuses does not speak english but her expertise is " five stars ". Sandy does services yet because she is bilingual, Sandy answers the telephone and handles the payment in the lobby. Clean facility with excellent massages. I would highly recommend getting the hamman treatment because it was a very good experience. You get to steam for 30 mins then you get scrubbed from head to toe. My skin felt very smooth after the body scrub. Lastly is the the one hour massage, great way to finish reatreatment. read more

Went to check this place out yesterday with a friend and all I can say is if you're more of a fragile person this is not a place to go! Personally I do enjoy when my massages are a tad bit more rough but this was a whole other level of roughness. Not quite sure if I'm supposed to have some pain and slight headache after the massage. It's the following day after my massage and let's just say I'm in a whole lot of pain right now. The middle of my back hurts and I've never felt this kind of pain before!! Also if you prefer females to give you your massage, you should definitely call and let them know because during my visit the only female I saw was the receptionist everyone else were males. What a wonderful experience we had. We have had hammam treatments in Turkey and this was just as good. Maybe better because Sandy was so charming. It was so clean, the massage that preceded my hammam was really good - deep but not painful. Yes wear a bathing suit if you are shy. But honestly it feels so good to get scrubbed and rubbed and rinsed all over. You get very wet and very soapy. Fun! We went on a groupon but will go again without. read more

Everything was ok until the end when I was extorted for tip money. I was verbally told I had to tip 4 times as I had 4 treatments for two people (two each) but this was part of the package. I offered 30 dollars and was told that was not enough. I was than changed tax on top of the groupon I already bought. All in all I paid more than if I just went there with out the groupon. The message lady did not shut up about her daughter and how curly my hair was. The hammam part was nice if you dont mind being forced to strip and having your balls manhandled. The thing is I would have gone back if she had not been so rude about the tips. The massage was ok to start but then I felt like she ran of out techniques after half an hour so it got very repetitive. A bit disappointing. During the hammam the lady was always interrupted by staff members who got in the room, even a senior man (the owner maybe) showed up while I was naked which was very very disrespectful. The lady was always answering the phone during the care (!!). She also was pushy about the tip during the care at the beginning which I found very rude. During the massage one of the masseuses suddenly left and another one came. The 2nd masseuse was very good with massage though. It's the only good point here. Hammam care wasn't gentle at all. This review is less on my behalf and more for my partner. It was her first time going to a massage therapist and it could not have been a worse experience for someone not knowing what to expect. We entered and were immediately confused as to which person they were talking to, where we were being directed and had some trouble understanding their mental tax calculation since we were using a groupon. We were then separated for singles massages, which I now whole-heartedly regret. Language barriers can always make things a bit difficult and awkward, but that does not excuse the complete lack of professionalism and disregard for her personal comfort level that was shown. An older man repeatedly positioned her legs open DESPITE her obvious resist, abrasively brushed his crotch against different places and ignored responses when prompting about the pressure of the massage - simply saying "yeah, harder". Regardless of your gender, do not go to this establishment, its employees should not be practicing, especially this one in particular. The potential effect of such a traumatizing experience goes beyond any "weird" feeling someone might have after a first massage. This was plain wrong and I'm very certain they were aware of it. read more

I recently bought the two 60-minute Chinese traditional massages groupon and redeemed it with a friend. I think my masseuses was the owner, and the massage started off pretty good but then she started to try to upsell by telling me all the deals and how I shouldn't buy the groupon because its cheaper to go in without it. She then went on to talk about her daughter and such, personally I like to relax during my massage and don't like chitchat. As I said I think she's the owner because she left twice during my massage to do something out front leaving the door open, and in the end, I could tell she was rushed because she was throwing my head around with the head massage part and put her fingers in my ears! Straight into both ears...who enjoys that! like a dry wet willy it was terrible. My friend said her massage was good and her masseuse didn't speak english, but the pressure was too much despite her trying to tell her to ease off. Overall will not be returning. Also at the end when paying, it was one groupon but she made us pay two taxes because it was two people...didn't really make sense. read more

Truly awful. No privacy - a man off the street walked in the room while I was stark naked receiving my massage, he asked a couple of questions of the woman massaging me, then left the room. I asked the woman massaging me who he was and she replied she didn't know, then made a joke that he must have been looking for his wife. I was lead through a room to the "hammam" (which is just a small shower cubicle from Home Depot with a door that doesn't close properly and doesn't heat for a few minutes while you sit in there with another persons used towel) past another stark naked client receiving a treatment. And, during gommage the woman working on me answered the door a couple of times and talked to someone through the open door for a couple of minutes, and she answered phone calls.The massage was painful (I've had many deep tissue massages, and therapeutically painful in that good way, over the decades and this woman was completely untrained in massage - I asked her - and it hurt). I am still undergoing physio to repair the damage I think she did. She did work very hard, though, as did the woman who did the gommage (which was just a scrubby used to abrade my skin all over, then rinsed out to dry to use on the next client - there were four of these scrubby rags, hanging to dry next to the treatment surface). My final complaint is the constant griping about money from both women all through both treatments: it is so hard to find work in Vancouver, Groupon takes 54% of the cost of treatment, etc. Then I was offered a return visit at the same Groupon price, and no tax! When my friend and I left(she was similarly disgusted by the experience), I gave the women a $20 tip, my friend gave a little less, and the women started exclaiming in outrage that they had worked so hard, the tip is important, what we left was insufficient, etc. Finally I threw another $10 at them and fled. SO NOT relaxing, and very unpleasant. If my friend hadn't been somewhere in the facility, with me hoping her experience was going better than mine, I would (or I hope I would have had the guts) have up and left. I leave one star because the women did work hard, even though none of it felt good. read more
