Update: They finally have some blinds now in the bright lounge area- doesn't block the view of construction and still a tad too bright for spa ambiance. Would be great to have shutters. They have more of an assortment of snacks versus the Natures granola bars now. There's a bit of a sell of products at the end of the facial but not too pushy... no samples to offer which is tough to sell with pricy medical grade products. Thuy the RMT is amazing at addressing any concerns and offers stretches to help with issues after. Tried out the new location in Langley. Spa is beautiful. Super bright and airy and big too. Booked RMT- unable to book online but was able to book via email with response promptly. RMT is only through one therapist which is only on Tuesdays... bummer, I hope there will be more options later since places like Spautopia has many RMTs so it's easy to have a spa date. Lounge is beautiful- so bright ... only wish there was an option for it to be dimmer for a more relaxing... nap inducing experience. There's some snacks and water/tea availab Massage was lovely. I finally stopped by the new location and it is located in a beautiful building - modern and bright. There are designated parking spots for customers located in the parking lot. The spa is just off the main reception area when you enter the building. I booked a RMT massage and an organic salt facial. I had an amazing massage therapist. I felt refreshed afterwards. The facial was interesting. There was a tingling sensation with the product application, a number of hot towels, and cupping to help with circulation. The massage was good but I was hoping there would be extractions, but unfortunately it was not part of the facial. I sat briefly in the lounge area between services. The area is very bright. I wish there were some ottomans so I can rest my legs. There were Dad's cookies and president's choice granola bars. I think they can offer better snack options for the ambiance and price they are charging. Also, with covid precautions, the sauna is no longer available and people cannot sit for long or wander around the spa. Staff walked me into the treatment rooms and walked me back to reception. The online booking system was easy. Also, emails to the spa was answered in a timely manner. This is a fantastic improvement from the service I received in the old location. While I am very impressed with my hair dresser I am very disapointed with the cashier. It has come to my attention if you are upsold any hair product they add it to your bill with hair cut and charge you tip based on the whole bill. You should not charge tip on hair products. Absolutely bizarre . You have to be smart and tell them to give you 2 separate bills. That is wrong. Please teach your oversmart cashiers some sense. read more

My husband and I booked a 75min couples massage (with RMTs) and a jacuzzi soak to celebrate our anniversary. Things must have changed here since previous reviews, because I had no troubles reaching them each time I called (a few reviews complained of not having calls answered). Unfortunately the location is a bit far when coming down from Vancouver but it was well worth it. Staff are extremely friendly and the spa is very clean. Very cute and modern decor. We were offered to use the infrared sauna for free before or after our treatment. Looked very spacious and nice (not private so wear a swimsuit or towel in there). We didn't have time to try it out this time but will next time! The RMTs took time to learn and access your needs prior to the massage. Even during the massage they always checked in to see if everything was ok and if the pressure was fine. They really did their best to ensure we had a great experience. After our massage we used the jacuzzi for 25min. They allowed us to bring our own champagne & glasses ... they brought it in for us after our massage. After the jacuzzi we were able to use the shower in the same room. They have all shower products. In the bathroom they have hair spray, dry shampoo, deodorants, mouth wash, lotions & everything you need to freshen up before you leave. We were able to sit in the lounge area as long as we needed to after our treatment while we enjoyed our champagne. *they do not charge you anything extra for bringing in champagne like some places do* They do offer tea and water in the lounge area. Overall it was a perfect & very relaxing experience that we both thoroughly enjoyed. We will be back for sure! They have facial promos going on too so I can't wait to check out their other services. read more

I went to Fluid Spa and salon today. For balayage and roots. My stylist was Faith Evans. in The beginning of my appointment we had a consultation which included me showing 2 pictures of what style and colour I wanted. I left with my hair A bluish grey shade and not even close to the pictures or what we discussed. When I messaged her after the appointment she got completely defensive and offered no solution. Instead she said there is no manager and I'm not fixing it and blocked me. This is the worst customer service experience I have had in my whole life. She charged me for a colour correction and now having to find a new stylist for another colour correction. Worst experience ever. read more

The service here is great, as it has always been. My issue is the venue. Feels more like a dental office than a spa. It is bright, white and institutional in appearance. Nothing like their last location which was quiet and tranquil. The beds are comfy, as they should be. You hear every word and every footstep during your massage due to the concrete floors, large windows and design flaws. The RMT massage room door jams due to its improper fit. This is a zero star review of my personal experience. It's been two weeks since I had to cancel my Spa appointment due to the fact the staff person "Sarah "was extremely rude to me. I just simply asked if the staff working on my face will be vaccinated or not, she said that's none of my business it's a privacy issue. I know she wears a mask, but even so in a small room confined and vulnerable, me with no mask a stranger so close to me?-make a long story short, my life is more important than risk getting the new Covid delta variant. If medical personnel should be vaccinated so should the spa staff, at least let me know if the person working on me is vaccinated or not, that's the bare minimum they can do, but instead they demeaned me and made me feel unworthy and they were happy to cancel my appointment! The way she said sorry was very unsympathetic, I don't think she was very sorry at all. Sarah was so disrespectful and rude to me on the phone and she was a horrible person to speak to. I'm am now happy to say they lost a valued customer, With no follow up phone call (as I had requested) they must have something to hide. It should be an advertising tool, a positive point "all staff are vaccinated" so assume they're not, by the treatment I received. ***update The response from the spa hasn't aged well at allBody and salt at Guildford mall plus all Spa Utopia staff are fully Vaccinated. Fluid Day Spa is my definition of a true day spa. Relaxing back room, soothing music and the smell is like clean laundry and warmth mixed together (weird description..) Beds are comfy, lights are dimmed I could go on and on... I've been visiting this spa for 2-3+ years now and have been purchasing majority of my products from them. I usually come in for facial treatments and just recently tried the back facial (definitely try!!). About 7-8 years ago, I remember I purchased a Groupon for a laser and microdermabrasion treatment (I believe it was a laser technician who just rented a room in the spa). Rozita is my go-to gal and I haven't had services done by anyone else but her. For product purchases, I feel like they always have the newest and latest products available so I do appreciate that! Booked a couples treatment for my birthday. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Treatment included use of robes, slippers and the sauna (reserved for only your party) then on to a body scrub, a massage and a facial. Treatment room was a wonderful dimly lit room with comfy beds that were heated and SO relaxing. Having a shower in the treatment room was wonderful but it would have been beneficial to have the shower products (shampoo,conditioner and liquid soap) with larger readable labels. If you wear glasses in a dimly lit room they were impossible to read. We enjoyed all of our procedures and felt so incredibly relaxed when they were finished. The glass of wine in the relaxation room at the end was such a nice touch to ease you back into the "real" world. Change rooms were spotlessly clean and very spacious. My only suggestion would be to have the lighting in the relaxation room dimmable. I found it too bright for "setting the tone" of a spa treatment. This was our first experience at such a luxurious spa and we enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks for making my birthday extra special. read more

The decor inside is sleek and contemporary. Comfy robes, couches and massage tables await you. Every massage or facial includes a free 30 min infrared sauna session. Was a great way to prepare my body for my massage. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It's definitely not cheap- almost $100 with taxes. But it's cheaper than Spa Utopia and just as great... minus the orchids. I was so heartbroken when it was over and i had to get up from the heated massage bed. It was so comfortable! This was my first visit to Fluid, and will not be my last! I first emailed to ask a few general questions, and my emails were promptly returned. Rather than try to book my services through email, I thought it would be best to call. My call was answered by Connie and she was very happy to accommodate me. They currently have a great promo where you can choose 3 services (up to $100 each) for a total of $159! Great deal! When I arrived I was asked if it was my first visit to the spa...after saying 'yes' I was immediately taken into the bathroom and given a locker where the lady explained that I can change into the wrap and robe that was provided, and lock up my belongings. She showed me the infrared sauna (complimentary with a massage) and was told I could fill out my information form while inside. I'm not sure of the name of the lady who showed me around, but she was very professional and made me very comfortable. The sauna was great...clean, hot and had clean folded towels to use inside. My massage therapist, Juliette came to get me from the sauna and offered me a much needed glass of water. I was taken into a beautiful, clean, dimly lit room with relaxing sounds/music playing. Within a few minutes I was enjoying the best massage I've ever had! Juliette was very nice, and respected the fact that most people go to the spa to relax, not to 'chat' during a treatment! Sounds silly, but I've had way too many massages from therapists who feel the need to tell me their life story. Lol Her pressure was great and the massage didn't feel 'pokey' as I've also had in the past. One thing I really liked about the massage was that my eyes were covered after I was asked to turn over onto my back. After my fantastic massage from Juliette, I was pleasantly greeted by Rozita who was taking over the rest of my appointment. Rozita was also amazing! We started with an Eminence facial (my first) and it was lovely! During the facial I had a full arm and upper body (shoulder and chest) massage, a leg and foot massage, as well as a head massage. It felt great! The facial was fantastic, and I can't wait to get another one from Rozita. She was also respectful of not being chatty, again people come to the spa to relax! Lol After my facial I changed out of my robe and was taken to the front area for a signature pedicure! Rozita did a great job! I really liked the heavy duty foot file (with disposable face) as it really seemed to help get rid of the any dead skin. We had a great time chatting (which is okay for me during a pedi!!) and I learned a lot about Rozita...what a lovely lady! I sat back, enjoyed the massage chair and the conversation...what a great time! The manager Connie came over to introduce herself to me, which I thought was very nice. My husband found this place for me and bought me a spa package for my birthday. It took me some time to actually use it, but I was pleasantly surprised. He bought me a package with many treatments that I really didn't have time to use at one time, but was very happy to hear how flexible they were so I could come back multiple times. I love the facial that Rozita does and I've been back a few times now. I've had many facials over the years and I can definitely say that she does the best, and it's consistently good. The products they use really suit my skin type. I've actually had people comment on how fresh my face looks after a treatment, and they didn't even know I had a facial. I've decided to treat myself with a facial regularly now. Their special offer of three treatments for $199 is a great deal. Went for a couples massage, the massage itself was good, but other than the RMTs the staff was rude. They kept the spa door OPEN so people coming in from off the street could see into the spa area where you were sitting in only a robe. The "waiting" area in the spa was filthy. You could see stains on the carpet. The change rooms were just a bathroom with a shelf of lockers. Very cramped and small. There were several times I wanted to leave but my boyfriend convinced me to stay. Very "un-spa" like. I live in Fraser Heights and I will never go back. read more

I've been coming here for the last few years for massages, and every time I have a session, the staff are always friendly and warm. This place is clean, professional, and the service is quality. After checking in, you are lead to the washroom and orientated to a locker, a fresh robe and sandals. The washroom has Listerine, dry shampoo, lotion and other communal products to freshen you up. The waiting room is calm and dim, with a water dispenser and tea and some small chocolates. There is a 15 min complimentary infared sauna in the waiting room. The massage room is dim and clean. The massage table had a nice fuzzy heating blanket so you won't get cold. During the massage, the staff take their time in their movements and are capable to read your body's breathing rhythm and can adjust their pressure to match. At the end, they take a hot towel but wave it over the skin to prime the skin to anticipate the heat. The staff voices are soft and calm, and respectful of privacy. I have only been to this spa to buy product. My review is on the customer service. I went in and bought a product that I was told did not smell like black licorice. The next day when I used it, it smelled like black licorice. I called the spa and they refused to return or exchange it because of the smell. The general manager (gm) of the store told me I was being difficult and then asked what I would like. We agreed that she would exchange the kit for a different one. I went in the following day and not one counter staff, but three helped me and only one of them was speaking face to face with me. The phone conversation the day before had now changed and the gm was not exchanging the kit, but she was exchanging the licorice item for an item that was not suitable for my skin type. I know a little about the products so I started asking questions that they seemed not to be able to answer. There were a few customers in the spa when the main clerk at the desk told me I was being rude. She told me to leave the spa . I did explain that it is difficult to talk to three people and maybe in future it would be better customer service if one spa representative would deal with one customer. I left the store humiliated and with no serum. The spa has ordered another one in for me, but do you think I want to go back?? I do not want the product anymore and do not want to return to this spa. So I Called in today to book an appointment for RMT and I was told she will call me back in a few minutes because she was busy at the front - so I said okay! So I waited and waited never called at all - I am very disappointed of how they treated a new customer??? I don't think I'm still interested of trying this place - if the front service is bad what more in the inside (service).
