They have more of an assortment of snacks versus the Natures granola bars now. There's a bit of a sell of products at the end of the facial but not too pushy... no samples to offer which is tough to sell with pricy medical grade products. Thuy the RMT is amazing at addressing any concerns and offers stretches to help with issues after. Tried out the new location in Langley. Spa is beautiful. Super bright and airy and big too. Booked RMT- unable to book online but was able to book via email with response promptly. RMT is only through one therapist which is only on Tuesdays... bummer, I hope there will be more options later since places like Spautopia has many RMTs so it's easy to have a spa date. Lounge is beautiful- so bright ... only wish there was an option for it to be dimmer for a more relaxing... nap inducing experience. There's some snacks and water/tea availab Massage was lovely. Change room is big- was a bit odd there was no body wash but shampoo and conditioner in the shower stall. Sauna is small but complimentary to use with appointments.

The spa is just off the main reception area when you enter the building. I booked a RMT massage and an organic salt facial. I had an amazing massage therapist. I felt refreshed afterwards. The facial was interesting. There was a tingling sensation with the product application, a number of hot towels, and cupping to help with circulation. The massage was good but I was hoping there would be extractions, but unfortunately it was not part of the facial. I sat briefly in the lounge area between services. The area is very bright. I wish there were some ottomans so I can rest my legs. There were Dad's cookies and president's choice granola bars. I think they can offer better snack options for the ambiance and price they are charging. Also, with covid precautions, the sauna is no longer available and people cannot sit for long or wander around the spa. Staff walked me into the treatment rooms and walked me back to reception. The online booking system was easy. Also, emails to the spa was answered in a timely manner. This is a fantastic improvement from the service I received in the old location. I would return when I want to spoil myself to some treatments.

I decided to book myself a Custom Facial as suggested by the front counter gal when I booked in. I have frustratingly combo skin and it was Tuesday, so what the heck. The location is on the bottom floor of mixed commercial/residential space kind of just beyond the "town" part of Walnut Grove; easy to get to, parking is a bear (they have three alloted spots amongst numbered parking). The waiting room is small, not much going on there. Some products for sale, bench to wait on. No big deal. After filling out the usual forms I was escorted in. My girl showed me the shower room then where we would have the service. The change room was small but adequate. Shower, toilet, sink and mirror with combs in that blue alcohol stuff. There are a bank of lockers for your stuff that contained a robe and towel, I was also given thongs. If you follow me you know how I feel about thongs. If not, I'll recap quickly. They never, ever, ever fit... And this was no exception. I'm honestly going to start bringing my own. Ridiculous. But I digress... In the room (small room... there's a trend here) I was asked to soak my feet and was given a Magic Bag neck warmer wrap type thing. It felt good and smelled like hot barley. After the foot soak the facial started. It was nice. She also gave a head massage and put stuff on my neck, chest, and shoulders. The were six steps all-in-all. I'm the type of person that doesn't really want to engage in conversation when being worked on, but u do like to be informed what's going on our what products are being used. This, unfortunately didn't happen and when I asked if she had a list of products that she used in me she sighed and said she didn't do that, but would provide me with samples. That was alright, but she made me feel as though I was creating this hardship. I didn't mean to nor did I appreciate the hostility. She brought me six samples. I asked what order they were used in, she said -with hesitation- that she would put them in order for me. I thanked her. The experience was nice, it just lacked that professionalism. I get that the word "uniform" sometimes throws employees into a tizzy but perhaps ditching the Uggs in lieu of simple black shoes would be a good idea. Just take it to the next level. Would I go back, perhaps... if others were going.

I have been here a few times and I will continue to go back!…read more I always feel like I'm someone special when I'm at lotus day spa. It's small & quaint & I love the friendly atmosphere. I don't understand when people complain about this spa. It's amazing! Upon reading these other reviews, I really have to disagree with them. There are a lot of products to choose from given their size. If I really wanted to go to a larger spa that doesn't personalize services for me, I will go to that spa I shall not name I always find if I tell the receptionist when I book my appointment, that I want to use the sauna, they prepare it ahead of time, and because I've given notice and it's perfectly heated by the time I go in. As far as the "thongs" aka flip flops go, they are made to be akwardly larger in order to not damage your pedicure. Every spa I've been to, has up to 4 different sizes & they are cumbersome, because that's how they're made! No manufacturer has made perfect pseudo flip flops! So like I said, I will definitely go back! I love this place!
