As Jeannie is the only one working, the spa is not a good option for groups. Numbing cream was applied beforehand and made the procedure more comfortable. Pain tolerance is different for everyone, but I did not find the procedure that bad. If you have a very low pain tolerance, you should consult with Jeannie what are your options such as applying numbing cream before showing up to an appointment. Service was professional and friendly. The procedure was called "Skin Classic." The procedure reminded me of thermocoagulation. Prices for the spa services was reasonable. I was out in 45 minutes and continued my day.

I noted she was very insistently pushy at the start about a tip. Again the experience was OK. At the end l gave the required GST on $100 and because the masseuse did both massages instead of a $10 tip gave her $18. She started arguing that this was not enough, trying to bully me into tipping more. I just left the $18 tip and walked out. Never ever going back. Bad experience.

She also explained the procedure and was very comforting and professional throughout the experience. I've tried everything to remove my excess coarse hair in the past. Waxing, threading, laser. It would grow back within 2 days. Nothing has seemed to work until now. I used a groupon for the first two 30 min sessions and then had two more 30 min sessions. I started seeing results after the 3rd one and it was a wonderful experience to finally have hair free zones on my face. Anna truly cares about her clients and has often done longer sessions due to the nature of my hair without ever charging me anything extra. She's humble, kind, and very knowledgeable. I'm definitely coming back and recommending her to anyone else looking to permanently remove excess hair.

It was only about 65 minutes not 90 minutes as they said. Cost $110 plus tax and tips $130. 50.

I went to Amy today for a mole removal service. She has a little room in the back of a hair salon,…read morethe atmosphere is very clean which is great. She had me lie down on a bed and gave me sort of a mini facial to clean my face first. Then she shone a big white light in my face (much like the ones at a dentist office) and dabbed my moles in what I assumed was antiseptic. I closed my eyes at this point since it's my first time and I am a little nervous. The whole process just felt like a little needle pricking you, it was a little painful but nothing significant. I think I was bleeding the entire time as she kept on wiping the spots after each time. The process is very fast, about 5 minutes for the whole pricking sensation. I am giving 3 stars for now because my moles look like little angry red dots at this moment, and I can't tell if the treatment worked. I will come back in 10 days (the number of days I'm supposed to wait for the wound to scab over and peel off by itself) and edit this post to tell you all about how it went! ==================== 8 days later: All my wounds scabbed over and peeled off by itself. One of them is completely gone while the two other ones are faint, but still there. I went back to Amy for a free touch-up on the two dots that are still there. She was great! Booked a same day appointment, same procedures (the facial + removal). I am editing my rating to 5 stars. :) For everyone who's wondering what the price is, it was $85 for 3 moles, not very large, just a dot, but very dark in colour. I think her price is decent. Sure you could get moles removed for $10/mole at beauty salons, but I'd prefer someone who's registered, after all, it's your face, right?
