Not greeted by my masseuse or asked my concerns or to fill anything out? Woman masseuse walked in on me while I was changing for massage. After 1 minute she knocked on door to ask if I was ready. Male customer who came out before me from a massage was leering at me and then he was looking at me outside on sidewalk in the window while I waited for my massage. What a GEM in Vancouver! All the 5 star reviews prior to mine today are totally accurate and legit…read more I had a 75 min Thai massage along with an Himalayan salt body scrub. Dara and Channy were absolutely professional and fantastic. I had a lot of muscle soreness from exercise recently and the massage was so therapeutic I felt so much better after the treatment. Pricing was reasonable and the location was easy to find. Parking on nearby streets was easy considering parking overall in Vancouver is a pain in the butt. With the massage I specifically requested treatment at the neck, shoulders and the legs. She was able to apply the perfect amount of pressure. Her technique with stretching my soft tissues were also very much appreciated. I have had tons of massage therapies before, including multiple ones recently in Bali, but today's massage ranks one of the best ones I have ever had. It's not in a luxury resort, not in some fancy establishment, but you will get luxury treatment. I am very appreciative of their expertise and care today. So much so, I also made an Instagram video of my experience here. Thank you Dara and Channy!

The atmosphere is so relaxing, from the…read moretrickling water to the essential oils you can smell, they've done a really good job transporting you so you're relaxed before your treatment even starts. One thing I respect is they always give you your full time too, not like other places where you pay for a 60 minute massage but the first 10 minutes are them asking you questions or getting dressed and it's really only a 45 minute massage. No, they literally look at the clock once they start massaging and that's when your time starts. And everyone is great, I go to Hilary when I can, Miyako is great too, but honestly I've never had a bad massage there by anyone. The traditional thai massages are really nice, they give you clothing to wear and basically guide you into different stretches and push your body in ways that really stretch you out in the best way. Their aromatherapy massages are great too. If it's your first time I recommend the East to West as it includes a little bit of everything.

Had a fantastic 90 minute massage (had a groupon) done by Tuan. First impressions were good. The…read morewaiting room was clean and welcoming with a helpful receptionist and my appointment started on time. The room was private, with one of the most comfortable massage tables I've ever experienced; the headrest was super nice and cushioned with a terry cloth covering instead of the paper or paper towel that some places use. I get massages on a regular basis, so I've had lots of experiences to compare, and this one was fantastic. I like very hard pressure and explained this to Tuan, along with problem areas (sciatic nerve pain, neck, shoulders). He listened and asked pertinent questions. He used a very nice lavendar & sandlewood scented oil, but made sure to ask if I wanted scented or unscented first, which I appreciated. He gave me the option of music or no music. I opted for music and he played the typical sort of relaxing music that I expect while getting a massage. It was played through his cell phone but sounded just fine. He was able to give the super firm pressure that I like (when I get a massage I like it so hard that I feel like I'm going to have bruises the next day, lol) without causing any pain at all, even in the few areas that I usually ask people to ease the pressure. He was very friendly and easy to communicate with and he had the communication balance perfect - occasionally asked if things were okay, explained what he was doing/gave instructions when necessary, and otherwise was quiet and let me relax. He was very knowledgeable when it came to techniques for easing my sciatic nerve pain, and he was able to decrease my pain by about 75% in that area. Everything else was great too. He was very thorough and I especially enjoyed the way he did my feet (sometimes people just can't get my feet right and I end up squirming and almost giggling instead of relaxing). Afterwards he did not seem rushed or hurried and he took a few minutes to give me some advice/instructions for afterwards, which isn't unusual but it's nice when they take the time to do that rather than just go right to taking your money. I would definitely go back and pay full price for another massage.
