We thought it would be some hair treatments similar to a facial but for hair but it was just shampoo and conditioner. The worst part of it was that the technicians aggresively scratch your head so hard. It felt like my skin was being torn off. Quite painful ever after asking for softer force. It was not pleasant nor relaxing at all. They shampoo twice and condition once and then blow dry your hair. They ask you to sit up to do some massaging on your shoulders. Then you are asked to sit in front of a mirror where they serve you cold water and finish blow drying. Then the 'spa' treatment is done and they start to clean up the room and ask you to change.. but they're still there and the door is also wide open to the public area. The technicians were nice people but they really need to reformat their spa style. I also noticed they had extremely long nails which I assumed they also work at the nail salon. This may be the reason why their head scratching hurts a lot.

I appreciate the ease of communication and how knowledgeable Terry is. He's very honest and will give you all the information you need. Today, January 25,2022, I did the Scarlet RF. I was supposed to do this procedure last year but had to hold off because of personal reason. I've already did consult last year but Terry wanted to do another one to make sure all my concerns and questions are addressed. I used to go to a different skin clinic before. Unfortunately, the other clinic has gone too busy and too commercialized. The personal touch is gone in my opinion. One thing I like about The One Skin is how they make you feel they care about you. Terry is very kind and you can feel his sincerity. The whole procedure took almost 3 hours including post care. I'm not going to lie. The procedure is painful but tolerable. The numbing cream really helped. The package I bought includes 3 sessions of Scarlet RF, 3 post procedure care and 3 peeling treatments done 2 weeks after SRF. It's just my first session and I feel very good. I will update this review once I completed the 3 sessions. So far so good!

I was having excess underarm sweat and couldn't wear gray t-shirt, but I have not problem to wear it today! The worst downtime was only first 3-4 days for me so I went back to work a week after the treatment. I was supposed to go back to the clinic to check if I should do 2nd Miradry but because of Covid-19, I needed to go to my home country to stay with my family so I haven't been able to go back there Also, Dr.Kumar did Botox injections for my jaw. The procedure took only 1min and the pain was not that bad. I got 50units of Botox but the result was not big change so I will get little bit more for next time! Overall, my experience with Dr. Kumar and Alina was amazing and I'm happy with my result! I can't wait to see them when I go back to Canada!!

Am not sure if the results would be any more dramatic than that. I usually like it when they explain the steps and the products being used. My facialist didn't start doing this until the end when I started asking her questions. But I know this is a personal preference and I could have started inquiring about the process earlier. Their line and array of products for sale is impressive and comprehensive. I needed an exfoliator so my facialist sold me one. At first she tried to sell me the full-size but I asked to buy the smaller one as I wanted to trial it first. If I hadn't taken the time to browse through the products, I wouldn't have known to ask for the smaller size first. I usually go to Skoah -which like most spas, features head, neck, and shoulder massage as well as ambience and very cozy beds- but am considering coming back here instead. OptaDerm offers a very competitive price for what seems to basically be the same service.
