The good points - friendly service Things I just couldn't get by I asked for seaweed salad - they were out- ok - convinced me their cucumber salad was incredible. It tasted like lukewarm warm cucumbers with some soy sauce and rice vinegar and a little salt and sugar - with sesame seeds. When she asked how it was; I was honest and said the cucumbers were lukewarm. She responded by saying well we just got them in? Huh? That's the reason for a lukewarm cucumber salad. Had a roll- wasn't great and certainly wasn't bad - presentation was very nice. Rice was kinda mushy - eel didn't seem cold but the roll was done nicely. Now this is a me thing, but the bathroom had pieces of paper towel in several places on the floor. When I go to a sushi place I'm looking for some cultural experience- including the music- not AC/DC and Guns N Roses. The guy making the sushi was super friendly and was quick to get me more wasabi. Heard they are opening another place in North Bend. I'm giving it a 3 star based on the friendly service.

We were absolutely craving Thai food during our August anniversary trip and were passing through…read moreCoos Bay on our way down the OR coast. EZ Thai came recommended during my Yelp search. We came in mid afternoon, so it wasn't the busiest time of day, but there was still a small handful of people dining in. I loved the decor of the restaurant and we were quickly seated at a table near the back by the kitchen. We were handed the regular menu and the lunch special menu, even though by the time we arrived it was technically past the lunch special cutoff time. I noticed that there wasn't much of a price difference between the lunch special menu and the regular menu, and there also weren't many items to choose from the lunch special menu, so it was in our best interest to order from the regular menu. I went with the Pad Peth while my husband went with the tom yum noodle soup. We both went with a spice level of 2, since there was a literal warning on the wall telling people that they were not responsible for incorrectly ordering a spice level. I also ordered a Thai tea. It didn't take very long for our food to arrive, and we were starving. The portion sizes were appropriate for the price, and the flavors were absolutely on point for Thai food. I was honestly keeping my expectations low given that we were in Coos Bay, but I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness and deliciousness of our food. I also loved that my Thai tea did not come mixed, because I love mixing my own Thai tea and watching the milk swirling through the tea. I've never had Pad Peth before, as I rarely see it on menus at other Thai restaurants, but it's definitely a dish that I would order again. My dish came with the perfect amount of rice as well. My husband loved his tom yum noodle soup. I had a sip of his broth and it was delicious and perfectly spicy. EZ Thai is definitely on my list to return to the next time we visit the OR coast!

Great service, super clean restaurant and yes, the eggrolls were amazing! Big fat juicy homemade ones and without onions. I never like eggrolls normally because they always have onions and seem to be the same skinny ones every restaurant has. These were deliciously spiced cabbage and cooked perfectly. And huge! The barbecued pork dish was also very generous and we really enjoyed that as well. Definitely our go to travel meal spot. Looking forward to trying more dishes next time!

My husband ordered the Szechuen Beef with order of fried rice. My daughter and I ordered the General Tso's Chicken one with fried rice and one with pan fried noodles. An order of crab puffs to share. #6 of them, I walked in to pick up the order. There were plenty of options to sit if you want to dine in. The gal came out and told me my order would be a lil longer. I asked how long? About 15-20 more minutes! I'm like ok, I need to go to the store. Went to the store and came back in 20 minutes. Guess what? It was not done the gal apologized and said she got 3 orders right when I placed my order. I waited about 10 more minutes.OK whatever. It happens, but come on, give a realistic time for pick up if you have that many orders at once. The gal was very apologetic and nice. She gave us some complementary boi boi type buns. They proportions were very big. 2 people could share an item. Fried rice and pan fried noodles were good. And nice size proportions. General Tso Chicken was good. My husband loved the Szechuen Beef as well. My granddaughter also ordered the kid size chicken noodle soup. It was delicious she said and also had plenty to eat the next day. It was on kids menu but adult size serving. Crab puffs were AMAZING! The price was good for the amount of food you get. We had plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day.
