You have to enter up this little covered bridge which is pretty cool. Once entering the Inn you are greeted by the owner or his wife usually and brought into the dining room or the bar if you choose. the decor is very welcoming and has a very cozy feel to it. You truly feel like you are visiting a friends home. The food was excellent the drinks were well crafted and the evening was memorable. Can't wait to come back!

The ambiance was very memorable -- from the adorable covered bridge you drive through, to the architecture of the inn, to the sweet greeting from innkeeper Bill. We felt like we were visiting someone's home, and we could definitely sense Bill's passion for the place. We visited around Christmastime during Covid-19, so Killington wasn't as busy as I'm sure it usually is. We had the choice of eating in the dining room or in their lounge in front of the HUGE and beautifully decorated tree. Christmas music was softly playing, and the romantic cabin aesthetic really made me feel like I was living in a real life Hallmark movie. The food was good, not SUPER memorable, but very yummy. We had the brie (my favorite), ravioli and NY strip steak. Overall, the experience was fantastic for our anniversary. Try it out!

And up to now, I would agree with that assessment. But Killington has changed my mind. Beautiful mountain, scenery, plenty of snow, and nice temperature. You could tell me I was in Utah and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. The Grand Resort Hotel is a nice spot next to the lifts. Maybe not exactly Grand to the standards of Vegas, but Grand in service, politeness, and helpfulness. I honestly cannot say enough about the people who work here and the level of professionalism the aim to achieve. I may not be back here anytime soon, as there are many mountains still to climb (both figuratively and literally) but I will always remember my stay here

Food was decent, better than a Marriott. Major miss was they marked all the food GF one day as we have two gluten free employees and the food was not GF. They resolved it but we had to catch it and it could have been dangerous. The GF crew ate after we were all done. That carelessness is main driver along with unreliable utilities for the lower rating.

Great location for a weekend, a whole week, or even a whole month~…read more The Woods Resort & Spa is arranged so that yoru accomodation is actually more like a condo/house (ranges depending on how much space you need, and $), but still has the amenities of a hotel (spa, pool, etc.) at their main building that is located in the center of the condos/houses. Our group of 5 people stayed at #43, which is actually located at 144 Village Circle, Killington VT. The entrance to the Resort is right across the street from Peppino's Italiain (747 Killington Road). ** The 450 Killington Road address is the address of the lease office from where you get your keys&lease agreement, as well as return your keys+check out, for your stay. ** The condo that we stayed at was very comfortable, with a livingroom (fireplace, couch (sofa-bed), t.v. with dvd&vhs players, as well as boardgames and a puzzle!), master bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 upstairs loft area with couch (sofa-bed), laundry+drying machines, as well as a decently sized kitchen with EVERYTHING (utensils, cups, glasses, plates, bowls, toaster, coffee maker, frying pans, soap+sponge..). Although sheets+towels were provided, shampoo/conditioner/body-wash were not. What was also great about this accomodation, was that.. as we stayed here for a winter weekend and were planning on snowboarding/skiing, our stay at The Woods included door-to-door shuttle for our group to be transported to/from Killington Ski Resort! This was absolutely wonderful (just make sure to make your reservations a day earlier!). The location is very conveniently located to restaurants and markets in the area, as well as to the Killington Ski Resort (should you decide to just drive there on your own). The spa/pool area is very nice, complete with locker rooms w/showers, etc. All in all, I felt very much at home at this location.. and almost wish that we were here for a whole week, rather than just a weekend!

The outdoor heated pool and game room on the first floor were definite highlights, especially for the kids! We loved being able to relax and play after a day of exploring. The on-site restaurant was another big win. It was busy when we arrived, so we placed our order with the hostess and hit the pool for an hour & they delivered to our room. The burger, fries, and chicken strips were all solid, but the Brussels sprouts and cheese curds? OMG. So good. We charged it all to the room, which was a nice option. Breakfast the next morning was fresh and filling--think granola, cereal, yogurt, fruit, bagels, muffins, danishes, OJ, coffee, and even make-your-own hot cocoa. Simple, but plenty to start the day right. Other perks: Free parking Great location (just minutes from Killington Resort) A market and deli nearby (3 or so miles) fresh food & hot food ready to go and market/beer/deli Other restaurants and endless trails in the area We especially recommend Thundering Falls, a beautiful hike Check for Live music The staff was super helpful and friendly. I appreciated being able to text with Valerie at the front desk, she sent a thoughtful welcome message and shared great local ideas. Thanks, Valerie! Our room was clean and comfortable. For the price and location, The Mountain Inn is a solid choice for families, couples, or anyone wanting a fun and relaxing Killington getaway. We'd definitely return!
