The course was in pristine condition and the greens here are tough, but phenomenal. I had a late afternoon tee time on a weekday and they were very kind and let my wife and 9 month old son go along for the round. We weren't even charged rider fees. We basically had the course to ourselves and I was able to finish the round in right around 3 hours. I would definitely come back here to play again!

This is a clean, well-manicured small "learning" or beginner course…read more THIS IS A VERY, VERY BUGGY COURSE, BRING BUG SPRAY! Deer flies or horse flies are EVERYWHERE and numerous. Most courses utilize wren houses and bird houses to encourage birds to nest around course, which help control the pest population, but this course does not. This is one reason why we haven't joined as a member. The fairways are well defined and the greens are very flat and clean. However, the grounds people are working DURING game play which not only slows you and others down, the machine noise interrupts your concentration during game play . One young man didn't even shut off his push mower while we were teeing off...he was 4 feet from us. This place opens at 8am (sharp) there is no reason why the groundskeepers can't start at 6am (daylight at that time) and have the place clean and ready for players. This is one of the main reasons why we haven't joined as a member. The clubhouse is EXTREMELY small.....the smallest I've seen and it's lacking in amenities. NO snack bar, no food service, no bar service. There is however a soda machine. It would be nice to finish up a round of golf and enjoy a cocktail, beer and something to munch on in air conditioned comfort or on a patio or deck overlooking the course. And this is the last reason why we haven't joined as a member. This is a good course, but take it for what it is.

The owner here has a stick up his ass as he kicked me and my handicap friend off the golf course I felt the need to say something. Apparently not having a functioning golf swing is a necessary reason to kick a learning handicap off the golf course. Not to mention this is one of the worst kept golf courses I have ever been to as the green are mud and the fairways are covered in the roaming dogs shit! I will forever be disappointed in this course and will not be returning, and I recommend you do this same.

As for food, it will be expensive as typical ski resorts are but I really highly recommend finding the Jamaican food shack and getting food from there! You can get some jerk chicken, Rasta pasta, and nicely flavored and well spiced items unlike just getting the typical chicken tenders and fries. It's all around the same price anyway so might as well get some well seasoned food.

I'm not sure if this on purpose or a lack of maintenance. Course had nice views. Very hilly, some blind shots, but not as many as Killington. It was very tough to figure out how to get to the next hole, we had to turn around a few times. After we finished the round, we wanted to check out the bar and maybe grab a bite to eat. However, there is no bar or restaurant. Just a snack window, though it appears the food they were producing was high quality. Overall, for $120, I'd rather go to Green Mountain. Though, Fox Run is still be best course "around" - hands down.
