Dr. Vu is absolutely the best! No problems ever getting a last minute appointment and the ladies that work the front desk are awesome and are so warming and personal. Dr. Vu is incredibly accommodating and has no problems with communicating her concerns with any thing on your body that seems out of place. She is quick with her work and doesn't mind to have fun too while doing it! I've had two moles removed by her and both were quick and painless. They are also knowledgeable with the type of medicine someone may need if they happen to be breastfeeding at the time! I have recommended them to my friend and they were just as warm and inviting to her as well. I would recommend Dr. Vu to anyone who has skin care needs. read more

I hate to post a negative review because I really liked the doctor, but the front office staff was terrible. I was called on four separate occasions to either reschedule or cancel my appt. They'd say it was because "something came up" or because they wanted to leave early that day (I work 7am-4pm, so I would usually schedule for 4:30). One time they even called to confirm, only to call back an hour later to cancel. They'd often ask if I could move my appt early, and I figured they meant by like a half hour. Nope, they wanted to move my 4:30 appt to 9 am. My acne got a lot better under their care but I couldn't deal with the uncertainty and constantly being told I needed to reschedule. Dr. Wolff and his staff are amazing to say the least. I've been seeing Dr. Wolff for a skin disorder, and he has done a fantastic job with my condition. The office is sparkling ALL THE TIME. Believe it or not, the doctor is ALWAYS ON TIME. I am not a person that likes to wait at an appointment, and Dr. Wolff is ALWAYS on time. I came here based on the yelp reviews and now I am wondering if the majority of the five star reviews are real or not? In short, this place is terrible. My first appointment, I waited about 20 minutes to be seen and then I waited another few minutes in the office for Jimmy and some random girl to come in. The girl was never introduced, so I have no idea who she was, and Jimmy has this nervous energy that made me feel uncomfortable immediately. He talks fast, he moves fast, and I did not feel he was really listening to me. He spent less than five minutes with me and before I even went through my issues, he was writing prescriptions. I was charged $132 between my insurance and my co-pay for this appointment. I did not feel that was good value for what I received. Fast forward to today. I arrive on time for my appointment and wait in total 37 minutes in the waiting room before I am eventually called back. After waiting 22 minutes, I went to the front desk and inquired how much longer? At first, I was ignored. Then, two techs eventually acknowledged me. Neither one apologized or recognized the fact that they were wasting my and everyone else's time in the waiting room and there appeared to be at least six patients ahead of me. I saw Jimmy go in and out of offices for two two or three minutes. I could overhear some of the conversations with patients. I also heard a tech and Jimmy ask people why they were there and I saw Jimmy reviewing records immediately before going into the room for about five seconds. Unless the dermatologist and PA are reviewing records thoroughly ahead of time, there is no way in five seconds they can get a comprehensive working knowledge on the patients they're about to see. It does not appear this office stuff runs efficiently, either at the front desk, or in terms of patient needs. The front desk staff is young and immature. I think this place is a just trying to make as much money as possible in the shortest amount of time. Based on my experience last time and this morning, I refused to meet with the physician assistant and I will never come to this office again. Terrible. read more

Had appointment for 10:30 am this morning. Arrived and waiting room was full and apparently the air conditioner is out of order...it is uncomfortably hot in there. It is 100 degrees outside. Many of us patients are seniors with other ailments and the heat is unbearable. I overheard a patient ask the receptionist for a bottle of water and was told they don't offer it. She then asked for a cup to drink from the water fountain and was told they have no cups and no water fountain. I waited 10 minutes and left. No AC in July in Vegas = No thanks. read more

I needed a dermatologist to look at a few spots on my body because I used to tan in the beds a lot! I was starting to worry. I did research in this area to see what doctors' reviews looked like. I chose Henderson Skin and Cancer and I'm extremely glad that I did. Obviously no one wants to go to the doctor, or be inspected for possible signs of cancer, but Dr. Jimmy Tran makes it seamless and also lighthearted which is appreciated. He walks you through everything he's doing or saying. (I ended up having to get 4 spots and possibly more removed. Painless and quick procedures.) The office is comfortable, the staff is friendly, I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting area to be seen... all in all I'm very happy that I didn't choose somewhere else to go. And yes it's a doctor's office, nobody likes to have to pay to see the doctor for results, but here you do as well so I guess we will all have to get over that. If any of my friends need a dermatologist in this area I'm immediately recommending this office and Dr. Tran. read more

Dr. Gunter spent less than 25 seconds in the room and performed 3 biopsies - going for a Guinness Record I assume. The real issue is when the bill showed up. Charged $450 for "tissue exam" that was sent to another lab. I got billed $800+ for exam "biopsy add on" and biopsy lesion. Then was billed the outside firm that actually did the work. There was a young female doctor, I believe in her residency, that was great. The staff was friendly overall, but honestly felt like a scam from the lead physician. *ive moved quite a bit. Dr. Cyril Joseph is outstanding. He takes the time to listen to the patients concerns and is very professional. There are so many doctors out there, that are tired of being doctors, or forget why they became one. Dr. Cyril is there because he genuinely cares about his patients well being. I have taken a few of my kids to him. He is very patient, thorough, and is very educated man in his field. It's hard to find a doctor that truly cares. He does. He is very kind, and is great with kids and adults. His nurse is amazing too. Courtney is truly a caring person. Don't go to Jeffrey Russ Gunter at this office. I went there and it was a horrible visit I will never go back. It is as if he races through the appointment to get as many people done in a day as possible. He didn't ask me if I had any concerns, he just looked at my face and started zapping then turned to leave. He walked out so quickly that I didn't have time to stop him. The worker girl that stayed behind, I asked her about a spot on my ear, he came back in and he told HER where to zap it and left! She looked as shocked as I did! I was going there to be seen by a Dermatologist that cared, took his time to see what needed to be done, and to do it. He looked at my face, zapped a couple places and left. Then came back in and had the assistant that looked as if she was there to do paperwork zap my ears. Not sure she was even licensed to do that. Dr. Gunther was fantastic on my first visit. I had cancer spots removed and he was certainly good at what he does. However, on my second visit with suspected cancer spots, I didn't see him, I saw his assistant, and while she seemed to be knowlegable (if a bit green) ... this time they turned out to be "barnicles," albeit very very light ones ... she was not thorough at treating them. I still have the spots, which again, were very light. And that wouldn't have bothered me even then if I had felt good about going back to have them retreated. But I got a bill which showed that my insurance only paid half, and i was responsible for the rest. Each fraction of a seconds worth of liquid nitrogen spray is $100! I would not have continued if I'd known we were counting by 100's! Even if I wasn't on the hook for the money, I can't believe they would even charge the insurance company that much. Literally less than a second for each press of the button $100, $200, $300, $400, $500, $600 .... .... $2000 ... for 20 seconds worth of work! No wonder our health system is so fracked up! read more

Dr. Bettencourt is, hands down, the best dermatologist in the city. I have seen her for everything from rashes to mole checks (which I think everyone with our sun should have). She is brilliant, and can literally diagnose you with a glance. She is also a Mohs surgeon, which means that she has the highest training that exists for skin cancer. She has removed precancerous moles for me with minimal scarring. My daughters have seen her for acne, which completely cleared up under her treatment. Moreover, she is kind and caring and takes as much time with you as you need. Her office is well-run, and her staff is pleasant and professional. Dr. Bettencourt is the best! read more

If only I had found this place sooner! I went to HSCD for hair loss after a previous doctor told me nothing could be done and I would just have to deal with it. They could not have been more wrong! On my first visit, I saw Jimmy, the PA. He is so nice and answered all my questions and concerns. Now my hair has stopped falling out and there is NEW hair for the first time in years. I've read some of the other reviews that say his exams are quick, which is is accurate; but he does a good job. I would like to add that my experience with him has been nothing but positive. I was on the verge of tears the first time I went to the office and this man gave me hope after four years of misery. Went for what I thought was going to be an appointment to get mine and my daughter's moles checked, and Jimmy Tran PA-C ended up removing all of our problem moles right there on the spot! I am so disappointed in this place as I have been there many MANY times and every single time i need a refill of something as silly as my clyndomyacin pledgets they try and force me to go in. They are greedy and Only look out to line their own pockets. Dr. Tran has seen me enough times to know that I need those pads and can't just give me a regular refill. He wants the insurance money. The receptionist went to ask him again and AGAIN he said no. It's not like I'm asking for drugs over here I'm asking for pledgets (medicated pads) for my face that have worked fabulous for me for a year now.. if I don't have them I get acne..I told them I would make an appointment with them right away at that moment I just needed the pads tonight before bed and again a no.. it's unbelievable the greed and I am so incredibly disappointed and will NEVER go back to this place. My recommendation for someone looking for a dermatologist who cares and isn't greedy? Go somewhere else. read more
