Was in Frisco to get my ski equipment rentals and saw Summit Thai in the shopping center and decided to give it a try. They were able to accommodate our party of 6. The restaurant makes authentic Thai cuisine with the freshest ingredients, traditional recipes, and a touch of Thai hospitality. We were seated in the main dining area. It was decorated with Thai decor and was comfortable and homely. We started our meal with two orders of the Gyoza or Pot stickers filled w/ chicken & veggies, served with house dark soy sauce. They were served crispy and had a good flavor. I initially ordered Beef Noodle Soup with Egg Noodle, sliced beef, bean sprout, green onion, cilantro and crispy garlic in hearty beef broth for my entree. I did not like the egg noodles and the beef was very tough so I asked if I could order something else. I then ordered Pad See Ew Stir-fried wide rice noodle with egg, broccoli and sweet soy sauce. This dish was much better in my opinion and was a very large portion and had lots of chicken. They took the beef soup off the bill. The server suggested the mango lemonade and at first I thought it was a kind gesture because of the problem I had with my entree order but he was just upselling. He also continue to ask if we wanted to try the Italian sodas wish came across as a little pushy. The mango lemonade was very refreshing. Many people in our party ordered the Pad Thai or Stir-fried thin rice noodle mixed with a tangy tamarind sauce combined with egg, bean sprout and green onion, sprinkled with crushed peanut. A nice touch is you can specify your spice level when ordering your dish. We did have issues where someone ordering a mild spice level received a spicy dish. Overall a good dining experience and they replaced my initial entree so they stand behind their food.

Came here for dinner and ordered 3 things. 1/5 Pad thai veggies - Seems like they forgot to add any spice or that tamarind sauce that makes it the dish it is! Horrible! 0/5 Pad kee mao chicken - if you see the picture, you'll know this looks nothing like what they have on the menu and not a drop of that basil sauce. This was the blandest pad kee mao I've ever eaten in my life. 1/5 Chicken satay - below average chicken. Overall this thai restaurant was a huge disappointment. I was in a hurry and went by the rating without reading the reviews, next time I'll definitely read before coming. Do yourself a favor and avoid this restaurant or try at your risk. This is the first thai restaurant that was spectacularly bad at every dish I ordered. Yikes!

one of the worst thai food I ever had. Overly sweet, watery, flavorless curry and stinky! They use canned bamboo shoots in green curry, which was smelly and made the whole curry "soup" smelly. The chicken was very very dry and also had a bad smell and taste.

This was one of the worst pad thai dishes i've ever had. I ordered take out since I was visiting town for the night and ordered online given the positive reviews I read. I placed my order to be ready ASAP and it said it was going to take an hour to get my meal which is quite a long time for an online order for one plate. I got there a little early and luckily my food was ready. I also decided to add extra veggies to the order for $3 which was not worth it. It had a few pieces of broccoli a couple extra carrots and a piece of cabbage stuffed into this small container with my dry flavorless pad thai. The lime also had very little juice and the spice I had was hot and it didn't seem to have any spices in it. The food was so dry and flavorless I could hardly eat it and decided to throw it out. Maybe eating there in person would have been better but I do not recommend this plate to go. The packaging needes to be more flat like a plate container instead of shoved into a small bowl like container. I was hoping the bottom would have more flavor but it was dry throughout.

we were craving thai food & found this restaurant! we came here on a saturday during dinner time & were seated right away. we ordered the chicken pad thai (honestly i've had better but still good), yellow curry, & pineapple fried rice. the pineapple fried rice was the best i've ever had, it was absolutely delicious and i recommend.

I was here the other night with friends, we ordered the crab wontons. We all ordered Spicy noodle soup of various spice levels because it was about -9 degrees outside. Crab wontons, not much crab flavor, luke warm/barely even hot. They were Gyoza/dumplings, kind of bland. Not a fan. Spicy noodle soup- I ordered Thai hot, it had good heat/spice, it also had good flavor, huge shrimp, and tender meat. Very good. Overall: everyone in my group loved this place, will go to again if in the area.

This is the best Thai food in Summit County. The spice levels, freshness and menu is hard to beat. However, consistency is an issue. There is an older gentleman working there that cannot seem to get anything right. I go once a week sit in the same spot and order the same thing and he never has a clue. Yesterday for example one appetizer hit the table first, we got tea that was microwaved and cold. Then an entree which we waited to order came, soup followed but with no bowls and a serving spoon that was tiny. Finally the other entree came 10min later.food was great, just weird every time he waits on us. Pro tip, when you go ask for Paulette, she will save the day!

Yummy! We stopped here for lunch on a Friday our way to the mountains and were very surprised at how busy it was, almost every single table was full. We started with the Thai tea which was great and then got chicken pad Thai (spice level 1) and panang curry (spice level 2). Both our dishes were really good, and the spice level 2 definitely has some heat! They were also really good sized portions so we had leftovers. The service was pretty slow and we did get charged the wrong amount, however, she was very apologetic and explained she was new. I'd definitely go back if the area again!

This restaurant meets the Thai food expectations, but some friends felt the portion is relatively small.

We ordered a half chicken which would have been enough for us in general but the batter was so crispy and well seasoned that we were highly tempted to order a whole chicken just to take home with us to brag to other family. It was sooooo good! I am from South Korea and I know when my chicken is good. Even some Korean chicken franchise in Denver can't do this good. It will come with a sauce for dipping on the side. We chose the bird sauce and was perfect to dip or mix it in with a jasmine rice along with complementary herbs (basil, cilantros, etc) and cucumber salad. Plus their special soft serve of the day made it even more perfect. We had a coconut soft serve ice cream topped with caramel sauce which was very good. Not overwhelming just refreshing as a whole. This will be our place for sure whenever we pass by! Chicken and outer range hazy ipa were perfect match. I loved that they are existing together. We were starving and I regret so much for not taking the photos. Miss the place already

Filet mignon pho- the broth was hearty with good flavor. This was a great choice after hitting the slopes. I do have to say the meat could have been more tender. So I asked for a different drink. When we got our miso soup it was so salty that none of us at our table couldn't finish it. The "bread" for the table isn't impressive and they decided to plate our entire groups order on a skateboard? Which had paint chipping off of it? (Food grade? Probably not) Like a lot of other reviews it's confusing here. The sushi....the sushi was warm. My cuts of fish on my nigiri's that were raw were warm. The monster spider roll was rolled so bad that the nori sheet was hard to chew. As the night went on tables weren't used, and we could have sat at a table with the turn around times we saw. I started with a specialty roll, the Hot Hippie w/salmon. $20 (12 plain. 8 for the fish). Good but not $20 good. I guess I'm used to specialty roles being oversized, which this was not. Also got the Iwai old fashioned. Tasted like a glass full of crushed ice with whiskey. Could barely tell it was an old fashioned. So, my meal was $80 before tip, nothing was great, I'd try somewhere else or maybe just different options. The front bar seemed lively and fun.
