I was excited to try Summit Inn Pizza when I saw it open close to my home. I had heard great things about their "doodles", and I was not disappointed! We got a small salad and 1/2 dozen doodles, kids meal, and a small pizza and paid over $30. A bit on the pricey side. I got the spinach salad and it was good, but the dressing to spinach ratio was off and I was left with soppy spinach. My husband enjoyed his pizza as did our daughter. But you must get the doodles. Probably the best quick casual experience of my entire life. Hands down our favorite pizza place. Amazing thick-crust pizza with super high quality ingredients. We order summit Pizza because it's the BEST tasting pizza in the area! We love it, however I can not continue to overlook the horrible customer service. Every time we order it's the same long wait and no one is aware of anything that is going on... last night we decided to order in advance (2 hrs) just to allow time for the pizza to be ready. 8:15 pm rolls around and our pizza wasn't even in the oven... the manager and the other guy worker didn't say sorry for the delay or anything.. they just acted frustrated with me because I wanted a refund. We stopped in to this pizza place on a little staycation me and my family had recently. Very good pizza and service was good. Liked the pizza very much! Only reason I gave them 4 stars was because I ordered a pizza that was supposed to be double sausage and there was only a couple pieces on it but the pizza was very good. Only suggestion I have for them is if you're going to advertise double sausage on a pizza make sure it has it on the pizza. The garlic knots are very good aswell. read more

Made to order- pizzas are fresh and delicious! We ordered a medium pepperoni with 1/2 olives, a margarita pizza (large) a 1/2 dozen doodles and a caprese salad which was kind of like an appetizer (4 parts) and delicious! It fed 6 of us with left overs for the one at home! The restaurant was comfortable, the staff friendly, and the owner himself checking on the meals and customers. The pizza was so good! Summit pizza is the best pizza place in Utah County. There are many reasons that back this. They have the softest and most delicious crust that you will be able to find within 1000 miles. We got the chicken Alfredo pizza. I went to ask if it was done cuz we were waiting so long and it was sitting in their warming oven. Then we bit into the pizza and it was pretty much inedible with the amount of garlic cloves on each slice. I had to pick off the garlic and counted more than 20 medium size pieces of garlic on one slice. I don't know who eats that much garlic but I sure don't. If it didn't have as much garlic, it would've been really good pizza. read more

This place blew me away. Not only are their pizzas bomb, their service is excellent and it's what sealed the deal for me. Their pizzas have that classic firewood taste to them, they have a delicious ranch sauce that I'm addicted to, and they are honestly the best service I've had at any pizza place. They were very helpful when we were ordering as it was our first time, once we got the food and were eating, the manager (I think he was the manager, wish I would have gotten his name) brought over a warm plate of delicious raspberry bites and frosting to top them as it was the end of the night and didn't want to toss them. I was very surprised and touched, it's not everyday restaurants do that. There are many fire wood oven pizza places in Utah, but the incomparable service I received today made me a customer for life. read more

We came in because a friend won an instagram giveaway for some doodles. The doodles were pretty incredible, as were the cinnamon rolls. My pizza was the chicken balsamic and I loved it. Plus mine exploded in the oven so they gave me two, so that's awesome customer service. My husband got the meat lovers and hated it, said it was bland and not cooked through. The other friends we were with didn't like their pizzas either. The restaurant was pretty messy, every single empty table was dirty. Very disappointing! Went in tonight ordered some takeout pizza.and after waiting for about 20 minutes I noticed that there were two pizzas sitting on the counter rather than being put in the warmer. After watching the pizzas sitting on the counter for over10 minutes I started feeling bad for whoever they belonged to. Lucky me they were my pizzas! No apology just here you go. If you're like me, this isn't the pizza you're looking for, but you won't be totally disappointed that you found it instead. For my tastes, it's too much crust. Clearly plenty of people like that, so instead of ditching their current recipe I wish they would add a thin-crust menu or something along those lines. The sauce, cheese, and toppings are all quite good; no complaints there. And while I didn't try them, I respect any restaurant that stocks interesting bottled sodas; I think I saw a lavender drink in their refrigerator. So I'll keep looking for that perfect Northern Utah County pizza, but in the mean time I'll be back to Summit Inn from time to time. read more

I am so impressed with Summit Inn Pizza the first time, and continue to be impressed every time I go. The ingredients are so fresh, and just tastes so good. I love the dough. The recipes for Summit Inn have been perfected over 30+ years. INCREDIBLE! We had the privilege of meeting the owner, who treated us to some "doodles." Which are savory little cheese cinnamon roll like, and they taste light and fluffy. I have been to this place many times, and I always look forward to enjoying their food. My wife and I stopped in after some shopping at the outlets and we were caught off guard when the girl taking our order said it was all free. We found out later that it was a soft opening for friends and family to come in and enjoy a meal. We ordered a calzone, a mini cheese pizza and an order of cheese bread. The calzone was a little small but still tasted good and the cheese bread was delicious. The marinara was different, a little more robust than most places, which I liked from the first bite. Overall very fresh and fairly priced. On our way out the owner, Dan, stopped us to ask why we didn't finish our food and told us that we are family now since we came in on their friends and family night. I respect establishments where the owner/manager makes an appearance and makes an effort to connect with their customers. We will definitely be back soon! read more

This is one of my favorite pizza places in the valley. I've been here multiple times and it always tastes great. I gave it four stars though because anytime I order a pizza with pepperoni, the pepperoni is always over cooked/charred.
