AMAZING! Just arrived home from Greece where I would literally eat Saganaki for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and despite this, I can honestly say that Summit Greek Grill has some of the best Saganaki I've ever had read more

We just came here tonight for supper. The restaurant was not busy- only 5 tables filled. I ordered a chicken stick platter and my son ordered a cheeseburger and fries. After a long wait, I saw two different chicken stick platters being delivered to other tables who came after us. I went to check on the order and saw the cheeseburger and fries waiting under the warmer. I asked the counter guy whether they accidentally gave my order away to one of the tables. The guy argued they did not, despite the fact that the two other people ordered the same dish after I did. Then at that moment another chicken stick platter became available which they gave to me with the relatively cool order for my son. A few minutes later, my son had to use the restroom, but he was away longer than expected, so I went to check on him and took my purse with me, but our two raincoats were still hanging on our chairs. I turned around while waiting outside the restroom area in clear eye shot of the table, and saw one of guys cleaning up our plates, with mine still having more than half my food uneaten, clearly not finished. The staffer put all the table junk right onto to my plate to clean up, ruining the food. This was just a minute after I left the table. I told the guy that I had not finished my meal, and he then argued with me, saying there was no one at the table (despite the 2 raincoats still clearly hanging on the chairs). I'm flabbergasted by how they refused to admit one mistake after the other, and the unapologetic tone they took. So much for customer service. I have seen this place decrease in quality over the last two years, and this is the last straw. There are so many good restaurants to choose from in Summit and this isn't one of them. We will never return to it. read more

Fresh! Delicious! Diverse! Clean! They have done a very good job putting together this reasonably priced restaurant. With fifteen different salads on the menu, it is safe to say that you can find something for every taste. read more

Awful greek food. No flavor, no garlic. Dry chicken. no flavor in the tzikiki sauce. I ordered the chicken sticks platter with a side of lemon potatoes. everything in the platter was bad except for the price which was pretty reasonable. and it didn't take long to get my food. but other than that i would never return. read more

Although I love most meals, I especially love breakfast, so when I learned this restaurant served breakfast all day, I had to try it out. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on pita bread. It was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had (comparable or better than those at Summit Diner and Summit Bagle, both places close to my heart). The restaurant was comfortable, incredibly clean, and the employees were friendly. What's also amazing about this place is that they deliver all day. I'm confident that Summit Greek Grill will soon become my favorite restaurant in Summit. read more

I ordered a Athenian "wrap" with chicken gyro meat from this place and got a cold panini instead. Aside from the screw up in my order, the sandwich was dry, "chicken gyro meat" was nothing more than chopped up grilled chicken. I was really hoping this would be a good addition to the Summit food scene but was very disappointed. This was a one and done experience for me. read more

Got take out from here. Gyro was decent for the price. Would have preferred the pita was warmed a little more. Gyro meat was cooked a little on the crispy side but overall I would get the sandwich again. Lemon potatoes were larger wedges than I were expecting but they tasted good. The chickpea salad I would skip next time. The interior seemed nice and the restaurant was busy. The delivery fee varies by where you live and is posted on a sign next to the cash register so check that out before you order delivery. read more

The Good; they give you A LOT of pita with salads and entrees, so if you're into carbs, that's a plus. The really-not-good: wings are very obviously FROZEN, breaded, small and expensive- 6 for 7 bucks, they do cook the chicken skewers and sometimes even have nice little char on them, but the shrimp skewers are anyone's guess- before finally giving up, I had them 4 times, twice they were nicely charred, twice they were barely cooked. Spinach pie is very good- but the rice and potatoes are icky. Here is some advice from someone who was in the restaurant business a long time: Do not put your ugliest looking food in a display case ( this is where they have the sides- that look old and beaten up)- make your own dressings/get rid of the Ken's packets (those are expensive and wasteful), ASK people if they want pita because many folks do not and that is costly and wasteful. With the money you save from the Ken's dressing and pita, MAKE YOUR OWN WINGS ( they are super cheap to make and way better!) AND your place has the word, "GRILL" in it, so use that grill! Marinate the wings overnight and grill them off in the morning during your prep- hold them on a parchment lined baking sheet in walk in until orders come in. read more

I can not say enough nice things about this place. I have not actually been to the restaurant, but we have ordered delivery several times now, and it is always delicious! A co-worker turned me on to them, and now I want them at least once a week! I am not kidding when I say my co-workers and I sometimes order from here multiple times in a work week. Everything I have had there, from their salads to gyros (yeeros) to cheese steaks to burgers, is always delicious. They are also very quick, even during peak lunch times. Every time I call, the person on the other end of the phone is so nice. If you are going to order delivery, call before you pick out your order, because they always have daily sides that are not on the menu. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars, is because of the $1.50 delivery fee. It just seems silly to charge that much for delivery, when we are local. If you haven't been to the summit Greek grill do yourself a favor and go. I have gone repeatedly and have yet to be even slightly disappointed. I've either shared or eaten myself almost all of the lunch/dinner menu items including the delicious fresh fruit n chocolate crepes. If I could get my act together I'd would probably find myself there for breakfast too often as I imagine that would be just as impressive as the main meals. I've been to Summit Greek about 5 times in the last year or two for lunch. Upfront, the ordering process can be a bit frenetic, but I think they are doing a fantastic job given the space and the huge variety offered on the menu and specials. I really enjoy their yero sandwich, vegetable sides and hummus. Today I got the lamb and beef platter. I was concerned it was 4 more dollars than the sandwich but the pile of meat delivered on the plate was enough for 3 sandwiches! And it is nice to make little bites with the triangles of pitas that come with it over handling a sandwich. The meat was flavorful, although a tad dry, but nothing a slathering of deliciously creamy and sour ztatiki sauce didn't balance out. The lettuce, tomatoes and onions were fresh and flavorful. The stewed green beans and okra sides were fantastic and cooked to perfection. The tomato sauce was piquant and at the same time subtly sweet. If it were appropriate I would have gulped the sauce down like a beer of what remained in the bowl. My friend had the grilled kale salad with chicken. He appeared to be satisfied with his meal. The service was good. Our waitress brought extra sauce when I asked and provided me a container to bring the remaining meat home. I loved sitting outside on this low humidity day for lunch and just eat while people watching. read more

I love the location of this restaurant. The open access from two sides and outdoor seating make it very pleasant. The three copies of plastic menu on the counter posts a potential health issue during summer as everyone touch it before eating, and you do not know who you is ahead of you and who was ahed of them. I ordered berry-berry salad and my wife got a panini. we received a number. Soon after I found a table and cleaned it myself, a young man brought our food. It is very quick. Our appetizer is six-warrapped grate leaves. Despite the strawberry, blueberry, and raspberry, my salad still tastes plain, majorly due to the 3/4 lb of iceberg lettuce. I have to put a bag of red berry-Italian dressing on it, which made it worst. I do like the grilled chicken sticks came with my salad. Our panini is crispy drilled, with beet as side dish. There are sand/little rocks is our appetizer, salad, and panini. Overall, it is not as I expected from a 4 star place. read more

Came here with 7 other coworkers & we called ahead to "reserve" a table. They were very accommodating since I think they don't really take reservations, but we were all set up nicely when we arrived. I've ordered from here before & had it delivered and it was pretty good, but nothing beats sitting down on site to eat. The food presentation was fantastic and the portion size was huge. You have to go up to the counter to order but they bring the food to you. The wait for the food was not long either. I got the beef & lamb yeero (gyro) plate with a side of Greek fries (fries w/feta cheese) & it was delicious. Some of us @ the table shared grape leaves which were not bad either. I guess it depends on who's making them. Other coworkers had the falafel plate, salad with grilled chicken, salmon burger & a fruit platter. All looked pretty tasty and no one had any complaints. The only thing is I had a slight issue with the drink machine. A little too hi-tech and temperamental for me. Luckily another patron was there to guide me along. The only other "issue" was the clean up area (where the put some of the dirty dishes) was a bit of a turn off. You're looking at it in the hallway while waiting to use the bathroom (hence the 4 stars). Nonetheless it's a really good place to have a meal. And though it was packed & busy, the staff, food and service were awesome. read more

I've gone there on several occasions. The restaurant itself is clean with a welcoming environment. However if you want to customize your food don't think you'll get what you ask for. The cashiers do not have an understanding of the menu. HOPELESS! read more

customer service has gone way down as has the quality of their food. i was willing to overlook the overly fatty lamb and chicken for the convenience of their delivery and their greek yogurt 'bar' however after my experience today while trying to order, i won't be returning. the kid on the phone could not hear me although i was sitting in a quiet office and essentially spelling out my address (think T as in Tom)...i asked him if he could get to a quieter area or call back when it was less busy so he could hear - i could only imagine trying to get through 8 lunch items if i couldn't get him to understand my address. he called back 3 minutes later ?? i asked to speak to the manager and he continued to explain the situation (while i was on the phone- mute button would have come in handy) to her laughing and saying "she's pissed and wants to talk to you because I can't hear her, whatever! do you even want to talk to her?". i suppose if all other restaurants in downtown summit are closed, i would say it's worth a shot to walk-in. otherwise stick with Biladi Grill in Madison- they have authentic Greek food, quality meats and wonderful customer service. read more
