Special Beet Salad of the day!
    Ze'eva K.

EVOO & Lemon has become one of my favorite spots, and every time I visit, it's a consistently wonderful experience. While I've tried a few different dishes here, my absolute favorite is the lamb. Most recently, I had the lamb shank with orzo, and it was absolutely delicious--the meat was so tender and flavorful, and the orzo paired perfectly with it. I also had the beet salad with garlic purée during my last visit, which was a special that night. It was such a unique and flavorful dish; I hope they bring it back often because it was a standout. The waitstaff here are incredibly efficient and attentive. They're quick to respond when you need something but never hover, which creates a relaxed yet well-served dining experience. The ambiance is perfect for a date night or a dinner with friends, and being a BYO restaurant makes it even better--just bring your favorite bottle of wine.

Great food ! Good service ! Chose last minute and was a great experience ! Will return

I just never get tired of good Greek food and I'm always excited to find great new restaurants to add to the mix when I want a taste of home. I came here with my mom not too long ago for a lunch and had a great meal. We sat out on the back patio because we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day and shared a few different plates. First, I love that they bring some warm pita and a small serving of hummus over after you order. The food didn't take long at all, but it was definitely nice to munch on something while we waited. We started with the lentil soup and the grilled artichoke. The lentil soup was really tasty, but did have a strong vinegar taste, which was pretty new. My mom who usually loves lentil soup but hates vinegar was not a fan, so I happily cleaned the bowl. The grilled artichoke was a show stealer. It came on a bed of hummus, with grilled bits of asparagus, tomatoes, maybe onions or garlic? It was delicious and we left trying to figure out how we could recreate it at home. For our entree, we split the signature salad and added salmon and avocado. The salmon came on the side with capers and on a bed of lettuce. To add salmon, it was an extra $18 which is alot, but at least it was a pretty decent size. Still, $18 is a lot and it was another extra $6 or $7 to add the avocado. So yes, it was delicious, but definitely not $40+ for a salad delicious. It's a beautiful space with friendly staff and a delicious menu. It can be pricey but at least it is BYOB! If you find yourself in this cute little town craving Greek food, it's a good choice.

Really amazing place! The service was amazing and super friendly. Ambiance was perfect for either date dinner / brunch. Most guests were adults 21+ at least the time we went. The food was just amazing, juicy and tender lamb, great veggies grilled I wish I knew what they sautéed with! The guest that got salmon said she got the best salmon in her life! I dont usually get lamb but I was curious. It was so soft and tender. Well seasoned. Only downside was the potatoes, that was only salty thing from the dish. The kebab was also so so delicious. I am not sure if the baklava is originally looks like this but they were very strong in nutty and cinnamon flavor and was not sweet at all. Overall would give 4.5 stars out of 5

Catch of the Day - Bronzino

Excellent Greek restaurant located in the heart of Downtown Millburn! The head chef was previously employed by Avra in NYC for 10 years. We ordered the octopus & tuna tower for appetizers, and each got the Bronzino for our mains. Everything was spectacular and exceeded our expectations of the restaurant. The service was informative and helpful while the atmosphere wasn't anything too special. Regardless, the food was spectacular...FYI it is BYOB. White wine pairs very well with their fish.

I'm traveling through NJ alone today, so I pull off I-78 in Maplewood and find the Park Wood Diner. This is an old school corner diner with a rear wraparound parking lot that's locally popular. I grab a seat at the counter and start checking out the menu. The breakfast menu card is tabloid sized and filled with choices on both sides and is available all day. I'm afraid to see what the lunch and dinner menu looks like. One of my breakfast favorites is corned beef hash and I get it with 2 eggs sunny side up with home fries and white toast. I love laying the oozy yolk onto a slice of toast and if there's any bread left, use it to sop up any runny yolk left on the plate. Of course, the yolk runs onto the hash and home fries, too. After this leisurely filling breakfast, can I even think about lunch or maybe dinner? I'll have to make a point to come back to see what's in store on the lunch menu. Maybe a pastrami or corned beef on rye or a comforting meatloaf? See you next time!

This restaurant looks great. There is a nice counter area to order, a really nice seating area inside and even outdoor seating. Some of the decor makes you feel like you're in a household's kitchen. By the cashier there is a table you can wait at complete with local newspapers. It's very charming. This was my first visit and I ordered my food to go. I had two key dishes. The first was hummus with falafel, which is very standard for me whenever I go to any Mediterranean place. When I opened the take out box at home I was really surprised. Most places give you a good amount of hummus, but here it was basically a thin layer. Kind of like a layer of mayo on a sandwich (maybe a tad thicker). Then on top of the hummus was a huge layer of pickled vegetables and tiny pickles. This was a surprise. I've had hummus orders from a lot of restaurants before and I've *never* seen this on an order before. Then the falafel balls were on top and well...they were really dry and didn't have much flavor. Now, sometimes you can cover that up by just coating the falafel in hummus, but there wasn't enough hummus to do that. The dish was just disappointing all around. The other dish I tried were the Lemon Potatoes. They were good! The lemon flavor was strong and they were cooked well. Not the best example in the area, but they would do in a pinch. At some point I'll give this place another try. Maybe this was a fluke (at least I hope so).
