It's an industrial space with concrete floors so it seems pretty straight forward. I was given a guestimate of $250. I was then sent an "invoice" for $400 stating 10 hours of extensive cleaning. That is literally all the invoice shows - "10 hours: $400.00". It's a studio, ya'll. I can't imagine having enough things to clean for 10 hours if you tried. I do however know the new/current tenant and was the one who recommended my [now] previous apartment - he went to check things out and informed me that there are cobwebs, some kind of gum on the floor, etc. Is this what 10 hours of cleaning looks like? Leaving it worse than it originally was? I'm not sure who I should be more concerned with - my landlord or CRB. I'll take aim at both for the time being. One star simply because I can't give zero.

My carpet has not been shampooed since it was installed in 1994. After the move out, all the furniture marks and heavy traffic area showed a lot of dirt and difference in color. The owner came with his staff and worked on the carpet with his portable shampoo machine and cleaned the entire area within an hour, removing most of the differential in shade and the heavy traffic marks.
