I became a founding club member in April 2024 when they first opened this location, with my focus on their beard trim and pedicure services. The subscription service gave me a limited amount of credits per month, which would cover usually 1 basic and 1 premium service. I would also be permitted a free drink when I came in for a service at a cost of $88 per month, not including tips. It all seemed fairly easy to book and the free drink perk was nice at first, although I was disappointed to learn that it was per visit not per service, so if I booked two services I was required to pay for my second beverage. The first beard trim service I received was from someone who was not experienced in beard trims at all. She was very nice and the conversation was great, but the result was just okay and i would always end up cleaning it up at home myself. After a few months it just seemed like I was never really happy with it so I shifted focus to only pedicures. At the time the pedicures were great, but when the service provider left hammer and nails and I found the same service was delivered differently based on who provided the service. Very inconsistent and the quality never seemed to meet the initial level of service received. I then decided to give beard trims a try again and noticed the woman I normally went to was no longer there, so I gave a new service provider a try only to receive a similar outcome resulting in me cleaning it up when I got home. The only difference was this service provider did zero talking everytime she saw me..... it felt a bit awkward and I stopped once and for all attempting to get a good beard trim there. Overall the service always seemed inconsistent and the environment was never exactly as advertised. With all of the above I would've rated it 3 stars based on quality of service for the price. I wouldn't consider it a luxury experience, but some may find value in it if they want premium drinks, i typically stuck to a coffee or coke.. The reason why I dropped it to 2 stars is the offloading experience. A few months ago I informed them in person that I wanted to cancel my membership, mainly due to not wanting to continue to drive that far for the service - I was still getting adequate pedicure services there, but had been meaning to cancel for months before finally pulling the trigger. Of course they said no problem as it was a month from my next charge. They did inform me that I would be allowed to access my credits for a period of time after cancelation, so I didn't lose them - sounded perfect. A month passed and I received a notification my credit card was billed for the membership. When I called to asked them about the charge they confirmed my cancelation was in the system and advised they would leave a note to the manager to refund me for the erroneous charge and make sure I dont get charged again. I waited weeks and hadn't received my credit. Then at the following monthly billing cycle they attempted to charge me again. Luckily I had just advised my credit card company to block any charges from them a two days prior as I anticipated another erroneous charge. I called them again today and the conversation went just as the last - they confirmed I canceled my membership months ago and will let the manager know, and I should be getting a refund for the last successful erroneous charge but this time noted I should receive it by the end of the week. Fingers crossed.

I wrote the gal and asked her personally what she thought She gave a glowing recommendation to Michong. I've been to her twice so far and really enjoy my visits with her and come out of there looking like a million, or at least my hair does :) Her prices are typical of a high end work, so I don't have any complaints about that. She uses top notch product on me and recommends what my hair needs during a exhaustive bleaching process.

Unfortunately, they do not use single use items for their electric callus removal and when I asked for a sanitary new scrubber pad for it Sany, my technician got pissed. I'm not even sure if he even changed the pad. He was rough with taking off the polish and the small square nail buffer on my nails, that was also not new. They don't use callus removal lotion anymore either. Sany's massage was very good and relaxing. He got visibly upset when I asked about most anything. It was a very uncomfortable non relaxing pedicure for me. My girls had fun, their pedicures were also not single use items either. I paid for the $50 Pedicure 2 for myself and really for the rushed and non relaxing experience I would rather pay more and just go to the Peppermill.
