I stopped by Starbucks this morning for breakfast and ordered the Double Smoked Bacon sandwich…read more While the sandwich tasted okay overall, the biggest disappointment was the difference between the advertised product and what I actually received. The bacon was described and pictured as crispy, but what I got was soft, greasy, and anything but crispy. The sandwich looked nothing like the photos shown online or on the drive-thru menu boards. The presentation was honestly disappointing, especially considering the price point. I understand that fast food ads are styled for marketing, but there should still be some resemblance to the actual product being served. The melted cheese and bread were fine, but the bacon texture completely missed the mark. Not terrible, but definitely not what was advertised -- and that matters.
