Attention to detail is their speciality. I really want to try their Turkish coffee but can't go past their latte

I rarely leave reviews but the Sultan Gate roastery is quite simply amazing. We are spoiled for choice in Katy, but it has quickly become my favourite coffee place. Their dessert selection is phenomenal, they include traditional middle eastern desserts but also cakes and some form of Japanese ice cream. I have no idea what half the stuff is, but it has all been delicious. Try the halva and baklava

I bought a pound of whole coffee beans. They were a medium dark roast. Ground some and brewed them. Excellent taste, me and wifey concurred, great price for a pound of exemplary beans. Very friendly employees, one young man brought us a small sampling of some of their confections, we tried a few and they were amazing! Next time i need to buy some sweets and nuts. The bag my beans came in was generic with no specific info on the beans i actually bought....hopefully they can fix that. Everything else was perfect so i'm not deducting any staars.

    Turkish delight.

Walking into this recently opened spot, the first thing that greets you is warm, intoxicating smell of spices. The next , the warm genuine smiles of the staff. Happily offering samples of nuts, baklava and Turkish Delight. Everything thing is fresh. The place is immaculate as is the vibe. Unapologetically, and proudly Middle Eastern. The place is like a warm hug from a long lost friend. The place is eye candy. From beautiful baked goods, to coffee, tea, candies and nuts. This place is a treasure, an oasis in cookie cutter world. I wish the the greatest success, and a very long run. Well done!

This was a cute coffee shop that's a bit tucked away. It can be easy to miss if you don't know what…read moreyou're looking for, but it's worth the find. The space has decent seating and even a co-op working space if you're looking for somewhere to work. Otherwise there's a good amount of space to hang out. The menu itself has a good variety of options. I do like trying out their seasonal stuff and this was pretty good. I got the tiramisu coffee which comes with a whole lady finger as a topping and is quite aesthetically pleasing. The mouthfeel was smooth and creamy, and it wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be. Overall I quite enjoyed it!

Great atmosphere, excellent coffee, easy parking, and plenty of seating. I visited on a weekday…read moremorning to get some remote work done. It was my first visit--I ordered an almond milk cappuccino, an iced banana bread latte, and a chocolate croissant (note: the full kitchen opens an hour after the shop). Both drinks were fantastic--well balanced, and the banana bread latte really tasted like its namesake without being overly sweet. The croissant was average, though I appreciated the smaller size compared to the oversized ones you usually see. The barista was knowledgeable and genuinely engaged with customers, which made the experience stand out. One downside: the Wi-Fi was slow, even when it wasn't busy, so I ended up using my phone hotspot. I'd come back to try the matcha and explore more of the food menu.
