What recommends this place at all is the friendly service, and the occasional rarity you can't get at your local supermarket, like high-end whiskies, uncommon tequilas and interesting gift packs. I think more of these mom-and-pop liquor stores might find their niche if they had a "hit 'em where they ain't" marketing strategy, carrying stuff the supermarket and big-box stores don't. If you can't go big, go boutique. Worth a look if you're in the hood.

They offer options at every price point, from the stuff you could buy at the grocery store to ultra rare - and super expensive - items. My husband chose a fancy whiskey and I snagged a bottle of local raspberry-infused vodka... YUM! Oh, I also have to mention the service. The handful of gentlemen working there when we stopped in were amazing. They were so kind and friendly, welcoming us in for our first visit. They were also incredibly knowledgeable on just about everything in the store... definitely schooled us! Loved it!
