It was well marinated and quite tasty. The rice was soft and fluffy. The salad was fresh, but a bit boring with just iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and red onions. Be warned that the non-creamy sauce that looks like salad dressing is very spicy. Unless you love hot spicy food, do not make the mistake that my friend made by dumping all that sauce on the salad without tasting it first, lol. The white creamy sauce was not spicy, and tasted good with the chicken. I'm actually not sure which one is supposed to go on the salad, lol. The naan flatbread was fantastic and my favourite part of the meal. It was a bit crispy on the outside, but had a good amount of chew to it. There were some small blisters on the bread. I love blistery bread! I will be dreaming of this bread. Yeah, it was that good! It's a small restaurant but they have a few tables to dine in and in warmer weather they have a patio out front. I'm not sure if they have no air conditioning in the restaurant or if they just had it on really low because it was hot in the restaurant when we were there in June. The wait for our meat pies was surprisingly long. So I'm guessing they are made to order. They did come out piping hot. Unfortunately I found the filling too salty for my tastes. It had ground meat, warm spices and cheese. The dough was a bit thicker than I like, but not excessively thick. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It lacked the smokey taste that like and the cheese pull I get from my favourite meat pie shop (Aladdin). However, that might just be personal preference. The interior is beautiful. It was full of people so I didn't take any pictures, but the light fixtures are cool and they have clay pots on the walls. They sell packaged nougat which looked tasty. They also sell cookies. Ingredients were fresh and their salad dressing (which was on the side in bottles) was amazing. My only small complaint is that the cucumbers pieces were huge and could have been cut into smaller pieces. The rice was well seasoned and had a nice yellow colour to it. It also contained peas and tiny cubes of carrots. The chicken souvlaki was lean chicken breast, but still tender and juicy, not dry at all. The flavour was excellent. The potatoes were huge. Each piece was like half a medium sized potato! It had what appeared to be breadcrumbs and seasonings sprinkled on top. I was afraid that such large pieces would result in either undercooked or overcooked potatoes, but I'm happy to say that they were perfectly cooked. Services was fast and friendly but the server building my platters had to ask what should be on them. The place has some tables for dining in but appears to do mostly take out.
