I have a friend that has a "I tried the Thunderbolt at Peregrine" pin and I was told it was the most popular drink so I had to try it. I did not like it, but I did not anticipate liking it. It was just to say that I tried it. The drink is got for real was a an Iced Latte with Maple, Brown Sugar, and Vanilla (the "Waffle" latte). It was sublime. I loved it. The four people working in that coffee shop absolutely KILLED it. They were probably the most efficient staff I've ever seen within the context. It was an incredible experience. The merch is awesome, they sell a huge variety of coffee, and for a small town it's a nice quaint shop with indoor and outdoor sitting.

This seemed to be our forced option, but it turned into a very pleasant surprise. The vibe was great. It was completely empty when we got there. The owner was so kind and incredibly efficient even though a large group came in all at once. She even reminded us to call our moms in honor of Mother's Day. The music isn't too loud, there's a good amount of seating, and there are fun little games you can play if you aren't reading or working. I ordered an Iced Coffee with cream, vanilla, and cinnamon, an everything bagel with cream cheese, and a blueberry muffin. I am unsure if anything was freshly baked in house, but I enjoyed each item that I received. There are also cornhole and horseshoes, making it a great place to relax and hang out. Heard on certain days there is live music. They also have a stand selling green chiles that they roast right on site. We ended up purchasing a half bushel, and the price was cheaper than anywhere else we found in Pueblo!
