This was my first airbrush tan. (I've done the tanning bed and Mystic in the past) I must say that I was a little nervous. I'm not really one who's comfortable getting naked in front of strangers.. but the staff at Bronzed was really friendly and made it a comfortable experience. As for my tan, LOVE it. I love having that "bronzed," just-off-the-beach glow, but hate the nasty side effects from traditional tanning means. (Here's looking at you Skin cancer) Yes, there's Mystic around the South Bay that I could go to. Cheaper by each session? Probably. But you look orange-ish and normally pay a "membership" fee to join a tanning salon. Nope. I got this tan for a bachelorette this weekend in MN. I want to look like the CA "beach bum" that I'm not -- hence my trip to Bronzed. I'm going back next week for another session before the wedding. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice tan, without damaging your skin in the process. So I've been coming here for about six months now, and it's always really great. Sugaring has helped my hair to grow drastically thinner. However, I just got my Brazilian and legs sugared by Julie today and she is a god-sent! By far the most comfortable sugar I have gotten yet. I got my first airbrush here and am really pleased with the results. The staff was very helpful! I walked in looking like Casper the ghost and walked out glowing! I let the tan set for about 10 hours, which was a little hard because it can feel sticky, but well worth it. I was expecting a machine tan, but it was a person who sprayed me, so hopefully you're not shy! You can go completely in the buff or buy a disposable thong. The tan last about 5 days on my body and about 3 on my face. It doesn't fade evenly, but I will definitely be going back. Your first time you go you pay $39 and get 2 tans. After that it's $40 each visit, which I think is a little too pricey. I'll save it for special occasions. Happy sunless tanning! read more

Loving my bronze! Came here for the first time Friday and got the standard tan in medium. I don't remember the girls name but she was super sweet and professional and quick! The color is so natural looking, not orange at all, and very even. I waited about 24 hours to shower (they say 12), and a lot did shower off.....but I have kept a decent amount of color. I moisturized really well so hopefully that will help. I'll definitely be back :) read more

I got my first airbrush tan at Bronzed, so I'm not an avid tanner by any means. Needless to say I was very happy with Bronzed. I'm very fair (read: pasty) and I was worried that I would look too orange when I came out of Bronzed. However, I was proven wrong. I got the express tan in a medium shade and loved the way it looked! I didn't look orange at all or fake tanned. The women there are extremely friendly and professional. The color is nice and natural and I've received several compliments. I recommend the express option where you can shower a few hours later. Lisa my tech was great and super friendly. Also very knowledgeable about the process and answered all of my questions. I would definitely go here again and recommend to friends! I was originally unhappy that they wouldn't honor the Yelp ad, but I reached out and the manager was very courteous and gave me the offer. Tessa does a fantastic job with the express spray tan. I came here before my wedding for a trial run and I was very happy with the results. No streaks and the color was an even bronze. I've been back a few times since my wedding and have been pleased each time. I like that you can shower a couple of hours after the spray tan when you use the express formula. First walking in Julie was sitting at the front desk and I assumed she was just the receptionist, she immediately made me feel comfortable she's SO DOWN TO EARTH. We were cracking jokes exchanging stores it was really like talking to my best friend over drinks. So I finally got around to asking her about who would be sugaring me, and she told me it was HER! GREAT I felt a little better NOW on the sugaring . . . Julie was honest that 1 its going to hurt more because it's my first time and two I'm on my cycle. She explained everything and even showed me how the sugar was made and where it's kept. She was very professional and quick ! It hurt a lot less than I expected And I think it's her technique of doing things, I won't lie though it did hurt lol just a level 7 instead of a ten hurt. This place is classy, (but without the snobbery) and knows how to give top notch customer service. I scheduled an airbrush spray tan and it turned out perfect. My technician was Alison, who was very friendly and the experience so simple. I was in and out in twenty minutes, but didn't feel like they were rushing me out. It's been almost a week and my spray tan still looks pretty good. They even give you a little card with after care instructions in case you forget anything they tell you. They were able to squeeze me in last minute! I just needed a touch-up (half-body...face and torso area) and so just called about 15 mins in advance to see if they could squeeze me in. I only had to wait about 10 mins when I arrived. The only reason I didn't give it a full five stars because I wish my face would have turned out a bit darker. My arms turned a golden tan but my face is a bit lighter. The girls are great, make you feel at ease and are quite friendly. Plus, the express tan makes tanning so much more convenient.
