I am VERY impressed with Bronzed. It is such a clean, organized spot, and the actual tanning product they use is amazing. Believe me! I spray tan pretty regularly in the spring and summer. What I like most about their product is the way it fades. If you keep your skin moisturized (and I do), the tan fades nicely and without that yucky sloughing off that other air brush tans give. My tan literally lasted 9 days. I also love how they customize your tan to what you are looking for and the color best suited for your skin tone. The post-tan phone call along with the ease of booking on line or on the phone makes Bronzed well worth the money in terms of value. This was my first airbrush tan. (I've done the tanning bed and Mystic in the past) I must say that I was a little nervous. I'm not really one who's comfortable getting naked in front of strangers.. but the staff at Bronzed was really friendly and made it a comfortable experience. As for my tan, LOVE it. I love having that "bronzed," just-off-the-beach glow, but hate the nasty side effects from traditional tanning means. (Here's looking at you Skin cancer) Yes, there's Mystic around the South Bay that I could go to. Cheaper by each session? Probably. But you look orange-ish and normally pay a "membership" fee to join a tanning salon. Nope. I got this tan for a bachelorette this weekend in MN. I want to look like the CA "beach bum" that I'm not -- hence my trip to Bronzed. I'm going back next week for another session before the wedding. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice tan, without damaging your skin in the process. They are very informative in regards to how long to wait before showering to get the desired shade you're trying to achieve. read more

I got my first airbrush here and am really pleased with the results. The staff was very helpful! I walked in looking like Casper the ghost and walked out glowing! I let the tan set for about 10 hours, which was a little hard because it can feel sticky, but well worth it. I was expecting a machine tan, but it was a person who sprayed me, so hopefully you're not shy! You can go completely in the buff or buy a disposable thong. The tan last about 5 days on my body and about 3 on my face. It doesn't fade evenly, but I will definitely be going back. Your first time you go you pay $39 and get 2 tans. After that it's $40 each visit, which I think is a little too pricey. I'll save it for special occasions. Happy sunless tanning! read more

Loving my bronze! Came here for the first time Friday and got the standard tan in medium. I don't remember the girls name but she was super sweet and professional and quick! The color is so natural looking, not orange at all, and very even. I waited about 24 hours to shower (they say 12), and a lot did shower off.....but I have kept a decent amount of color. I moisturized really well so hopefully that will help. I'll definitely be back :) read more

Sugared + Bronzed is by far the best place to get a tan! I've been going to them for years now and every single time my tan comes out flawless! Booking your appt is super easy (I do it via text), the girls are always nice and knowledgeable and the place is super cute and welcoming. I always exfoliate before I tan and this really helps makes it last awhile! I also opt' to tan nude - the girls do a really good job at not making it feel awkward at all. I got my first airbrush tan at Bronzed, so I'm not an avid tanner by any means. Needless to say I was very happy with Bronzed. I'm very fair (read: pasty) and I was worried that I would look too orange when I came out of Bronzed. However, I was proven wrong. I got the express tan in a medium shade and loved the way it looked! I didn't look orange at all or fake tanned. The women there are extremely friendly and professional. I'm not going to sugarcoat (no pun intended) anything, Brazilians are very painful! Personally I still prefer sugaring because it's clean, safe, and doesn't cause itching. And honestly after I leave I forget exactly how painful it is which is why I keep coming back lol. The girls are ALL super sweet, so that helps. Lets be honest, their jobs are tough and it's not fun cleaning coochies all day. I've had a good experience with each one of them. Sugared & Bronzed knows how to pick excellent employees. They try to make the procedure as easy as possible and take your mind off of it with a friendly chat. Also, they have a 24 hour touch up period that I learned about today which is awesome! Oh the place is always clean. Parking always available in the back when you first pull in just drive straight (2 spot for s&b). Keep in mind the parking spots on the right are for the salon only. I have done 2 spray tans with Sugared and Bronzed and I'm absolutely hooked! The staff is so friendly and was able to assist me in picking the perfect shade. They made me feel comfortable and taken care of throughout my entire appointment. I was thrilled with the way my tan turned out! It was perfect for the wedding I was in (see attached picture. I've had two absolutely horrible experiences here and unfortunately with the same girl. The first time I gave them a second chance. This second time I was in so much pain I was crying I actually had to stop and leave with my Brazilian not complete once again I broke out in a rash. When I made The appointment I specifically asked not to see the same woman it had been months and I didn't actually recognize her right away but they gave her to me. It was horrible. I left early called the manager and all they were able to do was cancel my membership early no refund nothing if I were you I would not go to this horrible establishment ever again I do not recommend it at all yes I had a couple good experiences but their customer service absolutely is deplorable. read more

Overall, I thought the process was quicker than other places I've been to. But the actual waxing is bit of a slower "peel". I have a higher pain tolerance than normal so I was pretty OK!
