We both had done our research at home by looking at the menu, Googling some of the terms and trying to decide what we might want to order. We learned Teatte options are very similar to espresso drinks except they are made with tea. The benefits of using tea is rather than having an espresso/caffeine high and then crashing, the tea has a more gradual build in our systems. The caffeine from the tea gradually climbs and then gradually decreases, so you avoid the shaky jitters followed by a coma-like crash. How wonderful is that?! AND when double pulling the taste is smoother and has a more refined taste. We both chose the Dual Phase Pull Teatte. I chose the Maple Sea Salt Teatte and Dani chose the Vanilla Teatte. I confirmed the Maple Sea Salt was dairy free and was delighted to hear it was. The kind woman behind the counter answered our questions and was warm and friendly. We can both confirm our drinks tasted like espresso. There is a slight taste difference, but not much, and it was good. My maple seat salt was a bit too sweet so next time I would skip it and either do vanilla or plain and simply add a raw sugar. Neither of us experienced the shaky jitters, but both felt the gentle boost from the caffeine. I would DEFINITELY choose Greenova next time I am in the area.
