I came in…read moretwo days ago, and as a "NEW CUSTOMER" I obviously had no idea what I wanted yet, so I took a minute to look at the menu. What felt like five fucking minutes after I was already ready to order, a female employee finally came out with the nastiest attitude and the most smug look on her face. I tried to be nice and give her the benefit of the doubt, so I asked what she recommended from the menu, hoping she could actually do her fucking job and help a first-time customer. Instead, I got a smart-ass response along the lines of, "Well, there's a lot. Maybe help and give a soda you like." I laughed it off because I genuinely thought she might be joking, but nope, apparently basic customer service is too fucking difficult for her.
As I was finally placing my order WITHOUT ANY HELP FROM HER, another female walked toward the door, and the employee completely turned her attention away from me to start having a conversation with her. I was literally in the middle of my first interaction with this establishment, and this woman thought it was perfectly acceptable to ignore a paying customer to socialize. The fucking audacity is unbelievable. I then asked for her name, still with a smile on my face, because I wanted to make sure she would actually give it to me, and I asked for the other woman's name as well. Their names are Ashley and Whitney, and from what I could tell, they both appear to be managers.
And if Ashley and Whitney really are the people running this location, then somebody seriously needs to get their shit together and look into how this place is being managed. Like HR needs to be contacted immediately! The fact that people in positions of leadership are acting this fucking unprofessional is embarrassing. You would think managers would understand the bare minimum of customer service, but apparently not. If THIS is how they treat customers who are walking through the door for the first time, I can only imagine the bullshit their employees have to put up with behind the scenes. How the hell are you supposed to run a successful business when the people representing it act like customers are an inconvenience?
I am beyond pissed off because I came in expecting a normal, decent experience, not to be met with unnecessary attitude, smart-ass remarks, and blatant disrespect for absolutely no reason. **I was a new customer, not someone who deserved to be treated like a fucking burden for asking a simple question.** Nobody is asking these women to go above and beyond, but basic courtesy, professionalism, and respect should not be too much to fucking expect. If you cannot handle interacting with customers without being rude and dismissive, then you have absolutely no business being the face of a company, let alone managing a location.
I genuinely hope someone above them takes this complaint seriously and investigates this interaction, because this kind of behavior reflects terribly on the entire establishment. Ashley and Whitney need to understand that their titles do not give them a free pass to act however the fuck they want. First impressions matter, and these two managed to make mine absolutely fucking terrible.
