They have chocolate, vanilla, banana, and pistachio flavors, but employees mentioned the banana flavor was most popular. They suggested a double swirl so I could also try the pistachio soft serve. You may also add toppings for an extra 50 cents or do a chocolate or cherry dip for an extra $1. If you pay cash, it's a little cheaper ($5.50 per cone). With credit card there is a service charge of 3.5% on all purchases. Overall, cash is best if you want to avoid extra fees. Stop by this historic spot. Worth a visit when exploring Coney Island!

My first visit was just to grab a couple of pieces to test out and see what the hype is. I went back the very next day and bought a variety for my husband back home. I decided 2x's wasn't enough and went back AGAIN. I am obsessed with the Bon Bons because they look and chew like a gumball until you realize it's a chewy piece of candy. You know I have problems when I take a quick lunch break at work and grab more candy instead of choosing the healthier version. And eating a proper meal. I know why I'm breaking out on my face. Yes it's pricey, yes it's touristy, but yes it's delicious candy that's less sweet. There's a variety of sweet, sour, chewy, marshmalloey, licorice that's both sweet and salty, chocolates, and it's part of the Swedish culture to get candy on Saturday's - something I clearly did not adopt in my visit.

Vännest is a Swedish boutique candy store with pick, and mix candy with over 100 different varieties, as well as flavors. What I love personally is the candy has no artificial flavors, high fructose corn syrup, and a variety of gluten free, vegan, gelatin free candy. My favorites are the chocolate bars, the sour gummies are great as well. Love the gold scoopers such a beautiful touch! The atmosphere is beautiful, and spotless. You can pick and mix your candy in a bag or a bucket. You also recycle your scoopers after you are done scooping candy that you want. They do allow you to taste the candy before picking what you want. They ask for you to take one with your scooper and put it into your own hand. The person that works here is very friendly. If you do have food allergies though, the store can't promise that there is no cross contamination since people only get one scooper and can put it into different boxes of candy they want. Below each candy box they have ingredients listed and a warning about cross contamination. If you find your self in the area go check it out. It opened just yesterday.
