Visit Hershey Park in PA to see where the kisses are made!
Stephanie K.

Cookies, and candies, and ice cream, OH MY! You may not be able to observe the magical making, but there are treats of all shapes and sizes here bringing back comfort from the good old days. I had a special edition Strawberries & Crème (all with little crunchies like the OG cookies & crème, but pink & fruitier). Destiny was a joy to reminisce about fun times at Hershey Park & adventures to come!

Call it a tourist trap if you want, but anytime I'm within the city limits, Hershey's Chocolate World will get a visit out of me. Its always hustling and bustling but it is a well maintained store with plenty of photo opps throughout. My mom and I love to get Smores here - pro tip: order then open faced for easy sharing. I also stock up on novelties while I'm there like Reeses hot chocolate and limited edition treats. The last time I went, I stuffed my own Reeses cup. The young lady running the register for this experience needs a bit of training on customer interaction, but outside of this its something I highly recommend. The top of the cup is scored for easy slicing though I'll admit one slice was wayyyyy too much for me for one sitting.

Cute touristy little shop in Time Square. It was so cool being able to customize your own wrapping on a chocolate bar, and I especially loved the lunar new year design! So many fun souvenir pick ups and the coolest little treat shops in the store, I didn't realize how big this shop actually was just from seeing it from the outside, but it's a fun shop to stop in to find some pretty sweet goodies

This was my first time visiting Hershey's Chocolate World on 42nd Street, and it was such a sweet experience! The hot chocolate was delicious and i'm picky when it comes to hot chocolate. I also tried some of the snacks, and they were really good too. What really stood out to me was the unique merchandise, they had so many fun and creative Hershey-themed items that would make great gifts or souvenirs. My favorite part, though, was the mix and match chocolate section, being able to pick different kinds of chocolates and make your own combo.

If you love chocolate, this is your place! Lots of sweets & treats to choose from. Well lit, hopping ambiance. Great customer service as well as a very clean store. Be sure to stop here while visiting New York City!

How to sweet tooth so decided to walk over to hershey world. It's pretty much what you would expect, candy everywhere. The ambiance gives a candy factory and I loved it. The staffers friendly and I ended up getting a hershey cupcake. It was okay. Wish it was just a little bit more richer. But it was still good

Hershey's Chocolate World is a great place to visit in NYC. Best place to find unique flavors for your favorite chocolate bars! The churro Kit Kat and salted Caramel Hersheys were my favorite! The customer service was great and you can even create your own chocolate bar!

How could anyone not love a visit here? It's so fun to explore and so many candy items that you may have never seen or tried before - we found mango flavored sour belts!

Great variety of options, and the service was good. Obviously its chocolate, so it was tasty.

Love Chocolate and Hersheys is one of my fav stores as I don't come here often as I try and avoid times sq area as much as I can. But, coming in here you can smell the aroma of chocolate and all its products that Hershey makes. There are different sections on the wall that go with the different products. The staff here are nice and helpful. This is a must come to place if you are a chocoholic!

If you're walking through Times Square and craving something sweet, it's definitely worth stopping by Hershey's Chocolate World Times Square. The store is huge and filled with pretty much every Hershey candy you can imagine, plus tons of chocolate themed merchandise and Hershey's swag. There are tons of chocolate and candy to browse, so it's easy to spend some time looking around. Their strawberry chocolate milkshake is incredible and a perfect treat if you want something cold and sweet. It's also a great grab and go spot so you can take your shake or candy and walk around Times Square while enjoying the energy of the area. Just keep in mind it can get very crowded since it's right in the middle of the action, so you may run into lines during peak tourist hours.

While in NYC, @BigDudesBigFoods HAD to stop in to the @HersheysChocolateWorld in #TimesSquare where you always get a free mini #Hershey bar or kiss as you enter. I always wanted to make a @Reeses #StuffYourCup ! It's a cool experience starting with choosing the perfect mix-ins, like crunchy pretzels, mini marshmallows, cookie bits and even REESE'S PIECES Candies. The tasteologists will fold your ingredients into fresh REESE'S PeanutButter and scoop everything into a huge chocolateshell for you. Then add your choice of syrups and seal it with a chocolatelid. It tastes amazing but it is too big and too sweet to eat by yourself. This is a dessert to be shared with many. #BigDudesBigFoods #BDBF

I haven't been to this store location in over 20 years. Since then has definitely been remodeled they have a s'more station and a Reesie's cup area. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The manager was not warm or fun at all, but rude. They also lost a star due to the nastiness of the s'mores. It may look good but the taste was off. I went with the cookies and crème s'mores and it turned my stomach. Yuck! The worst part was the graham cracker cookie. It was so thick. It would've been better for her just to be a graham cracker and then the partner with Nabosco. They have jolly rancher slushies and tons of merchandise. Hope you enjoy this place.

Ask the Community - Hershey’s Chocolate World

Do they carry the peppermint hershey's kisses year round?

No because they didn't have hugs. They had caramel and Kisses though.

Can i carry a small backpack into the museum?

Absolutely! It's more of a store than an actual museum so carrying a small backpack won't be a big deal!

My fiancé and I had a lot of fun looking at all of the choices they had. There were some regular flavors like Milk Chocolate, White Chocolate but there were also some fun flavors like Pumpkin Spice, Milk Chocolate Sea Salt. On top of all of this, there is an option of prepackaged Lindt chocolates as well as different chocolate barks by the entrance. Definitely a fun thing to do with your friends as well!

This is the new flagship location of Chocoladefabriken Lindt & Sprüngli AG, which is better known…read moreas Lindt. They're also across the street from a flagship Ghirardelli store, which they also own, if you aren't aware. In general, I find Lindt too sweet, but that is also coming from someone who is a dark chocolate lover. For this location specifically, the staff here are friendly and give samples, which is a plus. Anyway, if you're wondering why you'd want to stop here instead of just going to the literal CVS around the corner which sells their products, you can customize stuff better here, and there are many more options. Along with the standard truffles they are famous for, there are flavors available only at this location, as well as seasonal ones. Some current ones include shortbread, made with milk chocolate, as well as a snickerdoodle, which I didn't realize was made with white chocolate, or else I wouldn't have purchased that one (it was still tasty,) and others. The truffles are around 62¢ post-tax for a single one, so it's a little cheap and tasty treat. Outside of truffles, there are bars, some fancier chocolates, and bark, among many other things. Of course, there's a Dubai option like every other chocolatier in case you want to purchase a cheapo version here. Obviously, the chocolates in general are not as high-quality as Läderach, Li-Lac, and other spots, but they are at very different price points, so that's to be expected. The latter spots are more artisanal, while this is a step up from Hershey's "chalk-olate" and other cheaper brands. If you're looking to buy a gift without paying an exorbitant price but still want a step up from Hershey's or similar places, I would recommend going here.

The great reviews and overall rating along with the fact they had an emphasis on sour beers (my wife's favorite style of beer) made it a no brainer. Also as you have likely seen they are a women-owned operation so another positive. We did mistakingly walk by it at first but quickly found it. It's a beautifully designed space and more unique than your typical brewery space. Also speaking of they have lots of drinks other than beers, including wines, ciders, cocktails, coffee and a couple NA beers. Due to the impending storm they were closing early but my wife and I each got a beer. I got their New England IPA called Sun Up which was citrusy and juicy with a touch of bitterness/hoppy notes. Then my wife got their fruited sour Peach Berry Punch that definitely had a punch of pink guava and peach but the berry was more subtle. Two great beers with plenty of other styles available too. Service was friendly with a smile and took no time to get our beers. Such a positive experience we plan on returning to give their cocktails a try! An absolute must visit for beer lovers who find themselves near Bryant Park! (Also non-beer lovers since they offer so much more too.)

It didn't wow me. Tasted pretty much like your standard chocolate almonds. I recently decided to give this place another shot to try their highly-raved macarons and OMG... didn't expect a macaron to change my life. The chocolate ganache is heavenly. My favorite might be the "Sylvia", which is milk chocolate ganache + hints of caramel. The worker behind the counter was kind and helpful. I purchased two macaron sets, informing her that one was a present. She graciously offered me an extra gift bag.

How have I never written a review of this remarkable chocolate shop?!…read more La Maison du Chocolat is my all-time favorite chocolate. I am a devotee of dark chocolate, and have tried every dark offering it has. Each is superb, even flavor combinations I haven't historically adored (like orange and chocolate - I know it's popular, but it's just not my favorite). That said, my personal favorite is the Anastasia, a hazelnut and dark praline enrobed in dark chocolate. It is exquisite. Service is always excellent. I've ordered in person and over the phone, and have always been so pleased with the staff. The website is helpful when ordering a variety, but if you'd like an entire box of Anastasia, for example, you have to call the Rockefeller Center store and place the order by phone. They ship once a week, and I always have my box fairly quickly. Boxes make terrific gifts ... including for yourself. If you're walking in, I recommend sitting down to enjoy a few pieces of chocolate, then taking the rest in a box with you. There is a cozy but comfortable seating area in the back just for this. This area is also an ideal place to enjoy some of their drinking chocolate. Highly, highly recommend.
