Hershey's Chocolate World 701 7th Ave. New York, NY 10036 Reese's Stuff Your Cup On a positive note, it was a neat experience witnessing the employee prepare this oversized specialty peanut butter cup. The outer packaging looked very professional and animated. However, as soon as I removed the dessert from the box, I was in for a rude awakening. The appearance was not visually appealing. There was excessive gobs of peanut butter oozing out of the cup. A fair share of the syrup leaked over the side. The top lid wasn't enclosed properly, which made it difficult to slice the cup down the middle. The best I could do was scoop some of the peanut butter onto broken chocolate pieces. On a positive note, the peanut butter cup was really tasty and it had a variety of mix-ins and drizzled toppings. The customer service center gave me a gift card for a future purchase to compensate for this experience (hence my reason for increasing the overall rating). Thankfully we'd just finished dinner and didn't have much time to get to August Wilson's Joe Turner's Come and Gone, so we didn't buy everything in the store!!! Noticed some cute buckets ppl were filling to the brim with chocolate and candies from bins on the walls. Everyone inside looked very happy to see surrounded by all the goodies, they also do have non- foods items available, so there's definitely a little something for everyone. Its always hustling and bustling but it is a well maintained store with plenty of photo opps throughout. My mom and I love to get Smores here - pro tip: order then open faced for easy sharing. I also stock up on novelties while I'm there like Reeses hot chocolate and limited edition treats. The last time I went, I stuffed my own Reeses cup. The young lady running the register for this experience needs a bit of training on customer interaction, but outside of this its something I highly recommend. This was my first time visiting Hershey's Chocolate World on 42nd Street, and it was such a sweet experience! The hot chocolate was delicious and i'm picky when it comes to hot chocolate. I also tried some of the snacks, and they were really good too. What really stood out to me was the unique merchandise, they had so many fun and creative Hershey-themed items that would make great gifts or souvenirs. Came here with my family during a trip to the city. Stopped in without intention of necessarily buying anything, but my brother and I left with a ton of chocolate & were excited to try. I was pleasantly surprised at some of the prices for certain of the items. They had items beyond Hershey's or chocolate. My husband's favorite candy is sour candy so I bought a couple of bags for around $3 a piece. They also had more expensive items like the world's biggest Hershey's bar and extra-large twizzlers. My absolute favorite find were the PB&J Reese's cups. They had grape and strawberry jelly - so I had to get both. These Reese's are the extra large cups - so it is a lot of you aren't counting carbs or watching your sugar, but let men tell you - SO WORTH IT. I had been to the original store on 48th and Broadway which was a smaller space and more confining. I recently went to their new location on 7th Avenue which is very spacious. As you walk in, you are handed a small Hershey bar. They have Hershey products in every size and some varieties that I have not seen in places that sell candy products. There are also stuffed animals, T shirts, mugs etc. There is also s area that makes milkshakes and a place where you can either get a bucket or bag of your favorite small size candy bars-payday, almond joy etc. It was a pleasant visit and would encourage a visit. read more

I haven't been to this store location in over 20 years. Since then has definitely been remodeled they have a s'more station and a Reesie's cup area. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The manager was not warm or fun at all, but rude. They also lost a star due to the nastiness of the s'mores. It may look good but the taste was off. I went with the cookies and crème s'mores and it turned my stomach. Yuck! The worst part was the graham cracker cookie. It was so thick. ONE Hershey's Cookies 'n' Creme Bar: OREO/cookies & cream is a tried-and-true flavor with many types of desserts (my favorites include ice cream and pancakes). It has been more hit and miss when it comes to chocolate and protein bars though. I love both Quest's Hero and standard Cookies & Cream bars, but ONE's original Cookies & Creme did not impress. ONE has changed their recipe though in a collab with Hershey's to try and mimic Hershey's candy bar without all the sugar, fat, and calories. Opening the package gives off a white chocolate aroma that did remind me of Hershey's candy version. As far as the shape goes, the bar is long and relatively wide with less height than other protein bar brands. The appearance of the bar is radically different from the past as it is now teeming with what look like countless cocoa crisps. There is an outer waxy coating similar to other ONE bars that provides the "creme" flavor. Combining the chocolate flavor from the crisps with the sweet and creamy coasting proves to be a winning combo this time around. Biggest negative is the macros as the bar is 230 calories and not even 20g of protein (only 18g). ONE protein bars frequently leave me disappointed (outside of the top three listed below), but this new recipe from ONE is enough of an upgrade for me to say I would consider buying this again. I still prefer both of Quest's versions (better flavor and macros), but ONE's version is also Doughboy approved. The Reese's peanut buttercup they mix is literally a jar's worth of peanut butter with Reese's pieces. You end up eating straight peanut butter for like 10 dollars? Just get the ice cream at the other counter instead. The service was absolutely terrible at the Reese's counter. There was a white tallish black haired employee that intentionally delayed service and had no manners whatsoever. He spent 15 mins folding up to-go boxes for the first customer and turned back to me (next in line) with no greeting and a deadpan stare. He took my order for the cup, printed the receipt, put on gloves, put the receipt order onto the counter where they mix the cups, avoided eye contact the whole time and went back to the cash register only to tell the next customer (who had been waiting in line for the entire 20 mins that it took him to fold two boxes and put a receipt on the counter) that he would need to go to a different register to purchase items from the store.
