The people that own and work in this store are mean and nasty to their customers.and Their lack of…read morerespect to the customer is absurd and unruly. On February 13, I went to this store since I was already in the Staten Island Mall o buy my wife Valentines Day gift. While I was checking the merchandise and comparing prices the sales person aproached me and offered her help.I explained exactly what I wanted to buy ( milk chocolate, chocolate with nuts , and some chocolate with caramel- nothing erotic) .She directed me to a 10 ounce box of Godiva milk chocolate assortment for 31 dollars ( $49.60 per pound). I told I am going to the display counter to check the individual pieces and than wanted to buy two pounds of a milk chocolate asortment (14.99 per pound compared to 49.60 per pound for that box of Godiva). The sales person and owner realizing that I was not buying the Godiva chocolate at $49.60 per pound became rude and nasty and tried to rush me out of the store. I did make the purchase of their indinidual pieces of milk chocolate (2 pounds for a total of 31 dolars). They refused to give me a gift box or a small bag stating that it was reserved only for the Godiva chocolate customers.( I bought a bag from Hallmark for 5 dollars) If I was not disabled and could travel to another store, I would have told these two ugly ladies where to shove their chocolate. Do not go to this store!!! You work hard for your money and no store owner or sales person should ever treat you but only with kindness and respect ever. No store owner or sales person should treat you with disrespect . .I wonder when store owners believed that they are above their customers. The best chocolate any where is in Marine Park area of Brooklyn located on Avenue R and Nostrand Avenue - all home made chocolate and they respect their customers.

I use to love visiting this place and I sort of still do, only because this store has so many…read moremetaphysical items for spiritual needs. But once again I have an issue with entitled Staten Island white girls who act like they are above serving Latino men. You know, Latin men also have a right to shop at the mall! The gate keeping attitude some of these employees have is shocking. Upon visiting this location yesterday one of the employees, happened to be a caucasian young girl who knew nothing about archangels and sigils. Everytime I'd ask her a question she seemed disgusted and like I was inconveniencing her. I ended up speaking with a young man who assisted me with purchasing dragon's blood incense and he was pleasant during the interaction. I despise Gen Z and their attitude. I don't owe these lil white girls in Staten Island anything. It's not good enough to have a job. Being able to have proper communication with the public is extremely important but to do so you need to put your egos and biases aside, especially in a metaphysical store, where a smorgasbord of spiritual items are provided for various practices. If the female employee is reading this, get over yourself! Your bigotry shines and it's unpleasant in this day and age. Look around you, girl, businesses are shutdown from left to right and workers are losing their jobs. But I guess you don't care, since you think your special. This is another business I will sadly not be visiting. Thank goodness for online shopping, am I right?!
