Where do I begin to tell you all how lucky I was to find the people at Suffolk Liner. When I went to open my pool this May, we saw that we lost about 75% of the water. Finding a quality company to come in and handle this problem during the "peak" time of the year for pool openings and service was really difficult. My pool company who built the pool (8 yrs old) were of no use, they wouldn't help me because"I wasn't an active customer. I found Suffolk liner by luck when I was at my dentist. I was getting a root canal and I was telling him the story of my pool. He said to me that he used Suffolk liner and was very happy. I already hired someone but began to have second thoughts when they did not show when they said they would. When I got in my car, I called Suffolk Liner and spoke to Jan, the owner. He had said that they were extremely busy but he will help me and have his site manager to get in touch with me. The next day, I was contacted by Arak, who assured me that he will take care of us and get this resolved as soon as possible. WE made an appointment for the next day. Arak came to the house and looked at the pool and liner problem which was now tearing from stress and he again assured me that he will get us into our pool by July 4th. We sat and chose a beautiful liner that was totally different from our prior liner and he gave me a very fair price that I was happy with. He again soured me that this will be all resolved soon and that the liner will be ordered the next day. (I already had the measurement s and was using the same liner company, which saved us time because no measurements were needed). He said the liner will be in in 2 weeks and then we will set up the install. Suffolk liner called me at about 2 weeks and we set the date for install. The installation crew was just amazing! The team of 4 powerhouses were Moniek, Marek, Eryk and John. They came fired up for the install and immediately went in, drained the remaining water and then began slicing up the old liner and placing into garbage bags that were not too heavy and easily handled. They placed all the liner bags in a spot that I designated fro easy load into my car to take to the dump. (Hampton Bays- we hire our own garbage pick up and I brought the liner to the dump). They do not take the liner away, which I was fine with. The crew began to work diligently to reshape my pool basically going over the entire pool with a trowel making it perfect. They also had to remove all summer plates (3) and my 6 lights, which is a cumbersome task. I also had 6 drains in the deep end to be removed and reset as well. They worked into the night setting the new liner into place with what I feel was a perfect installation. They all strategically moved that liner and got it ready for filling and setting the vacuum to remove air as the liner fills. 2 days later they came back to do all the cutouts of skimmers and then reinstall my lights. Once the at was done, they called me out to see that everything was working perfectly and I continued to fill the pool. They even did some last minute rolling of a spot on the bottom to make it nice and smooth. The team and the entire staff at Suffolk liner were all truly amazing and went above and beyond to help me out and get us back in our pool by July 4th!! Jan was a life saver going out of his way to see that they got me into the schedule immediately. Arak was our savior delivering a top notch team of installers and a beautiful liner. The team at Suffolk Liner is top shelf all the way! One call after hours and Agnes stepped up to the plate upon hearing our tragic story of a pool installation gone wrong. Abandoned mid way on the project, the dastardly pool guy left a hole in the yard we were working on and never came back for three months! No one wanted to go behind this guy..and finish someones job.. who would.. everyone blames everyone and it all ends in court in NY if your not careful. So 20 calls to all providers.. and there was no way in JULY to ever get this empy hole of sand filled with water... AND liners were 4-5 weeks out. So this new pool project was about to get finished if we could find someone, but likely at summers end in Sept.. just in time to close it!! But no.................... In came Suffolk Pool Liner.... after hours.. and Agnes said.. the owner was leaving tomorrow for a much needed four day vacation.. but she would call to see if he could make yet ONE MORE stop.... exhaustion is not an option in the pool biz in July and on the east end... all are completely at the mercy of the pool guys. He came out after 7 pm and measured the pool, left a full brochure to an empty house... and sent over a super simple estimate with a completion date that was a dream come true. He was going to put a rush out on the liner we needed put in.... for a nominal rush fee... No problemo! Please take our money.. but get this pool going!!!!!!!!!!!! So in 12 days the pool liner was in.............It would have been 9 days but they insisted on the following Monday... workers were all booked on Friday for installs, and they refused my idea of "come on over on Sunday!".... Ingred said.... "no.. we are Catholic................. we go to church on Sunday"... well Praise Jesus then! See you Monday... ..the rest was history.. well not quite.. the pool needed equipment which in the 2nd week of July went completley out of stock all over Long Island... all four distibutors were out... but we found on of the last few filters in some smaller retail place up island in their warehouse.... and then we were referred to Sweeney's who agreed to set up and actually get this found equipment finally installed.. So this liner was bright, yet deep gorgeous blue and the steps and all fit perfectly... Come Saturday the pool had its equipment in too.................. but....................... the electrician!! it needed to be turned on..... No can do!! will be there the next week to finish the connection... So no salt (the new chlorine) or actually running pump............but water....... and guess what... if you think the kids that came over read this review or care about delayed appointments .. they didn't. This is the second time they have done a liner for us and they are without question the most professional, timely, friendly and reputable firm in the business. They stand behind their installation and products. We had a salesperson named Arik who was absolutely the kindest person you could want. By the the time he took his time showing us the different patterns we could get and how they would look with the pool filled (from pictures on his phone), we were sold on one liner in particular. Not only did they get the liner for us promptly (it was early season) but did the installation flawlessly. By the time Arik finished displaying his products, he felt more like a friend to than a salesman. You get a sense of honesty and trustworthiness in every interaction with Suffolk Liner. I would pay more just to have them do a job because it is clear that thry are professional and stand behind their products. This company under promised and over delivered. Thought we could squeeze another year into our old pool liner so we waited until mid June to decide to get a new one. Called several companies for estimates. Suffolk liner was cheaper by a few hundred dollars. The pleasant salesman, Arek Baran came over to show us our liner choices, which were many. He had pictures of pools they did with these liners and also the typical Merlin book. He said he'd be able to get the liner before 4th of July, but they were booked for installations but he'd make a note if there was a cancellation. He came and measured and to my surprise the company called to say they could install June 30th. Very professional crew who did the installation and left the old liner in neat bags at curb. They even came back on the Holiday weekend to install the gaskets & faceplates as our pool is very deep and took longer than expected to fill to the amount needed to do so. They left us an illustration of our specific measurements and Arek followed up to see if everything was OK a few days later. All very professional and kind. read more

In 2021 we signed a contract to have a new pool liner installed in our pool for 2022. The liner was installed, and had two large wrinkles, I called Suffolk liner corp with no response back. We let it go as the liner was fine otherwise. Recently, only one year after having the liner installed, we realized that the deep end of our pool was sinking, we had 3 different pool companies out to give us quotes and tell us how to fix the problem, and every company stated that there is no way possible the liner company that installed a new liner only one year ago couldn't tell that the pool was collapsing. Suffolk liner company neglected to inform us of an immense structural problem with our pool so that they could just collect the payment for the new liner and move on. When I called to remedy this a few weeks ago, I was told it is noted in my our file that the pool deep end was uneven, which is how all 3 pool companies could tell there was an issue below the liner, and yet Suffolk liner co never informed us and just continued to install the liner which cost us just under $7,000. In order to fix the problem with our pool, we will have to excavate around the pool, replace the back deep end wall, and then replace the liner that is only a year old due to it being measured for the sinking walls in pure negligence of Suffolk liner co,. I called the company and spoke to a receptionist and never received a call back from an owner as promised. We essentially threw away the cost of the new liner last year and would have had the pool fixed then if Suffolk liner company did the right thing and informed us of the severe structural problems within our pool. Every pool company that came out agreed there is no way they couldn't have known, as the pool wall collapse has apparently been occurring over the course of years due to an unknown line leak. read more
