I've been to this laundromat about five times since I moved to my new neighborhood and my last experience with the most enjoyable. My very first experience there was difficult because it was a language barrier between me and the attendant, and he treated me as if I was a vagrant instead of paying Customer because I have to use the restroom pretty badly and I didn't want to bring all my stuff in before and risk an accident.. and while I understand, no one has to be kind at work. It does help to have compassion for people. Piper was super helpful without being overbearing and was able to keep not all the peace and calm but an upbeat and very neighborhood friendly atmosphere.. I felt 100 times safer that I had my other visit because not only was security present but engaging and downright sweet!!! I hope you guys keep Piper around for a long time

Their customer service, as reflected by the reviews, is outstanding. I also realize that prices have crept up here over the years, higher than other local dry cleaners. While other nearby spots might not have as nice of a shop, the cleaning quality is the same for less money. On top of that, I recently caught a major overcharge on my receipt that I had to bring to their attention myself to get fixed. Also, I was disappointed that they did not apologize for the mistake.

I have been using the fluff and fold service at pop wash for several years and I even used them when they were on Montana Avenue in Santa Monica. However, recently, my clothes had came back with a strong, unpleasant detergent odor. I specifically told them MANY MANY TIMES that I am allergic to the smell of TIDE, but my clothes still came back with the smell of Tide. I even bought a detergent that had a perfume odor so that they could use that, but I could still smell the Tide detergent. I believe that at this facility, they need to clean their machines, and they don't do it. It is not normal to have to smell a detergent that you are not using. I wish that the owner would take the responsibility and make sure that the machines are cleaned daily!!
