I was determined to do it myself because he is so busy. I even planned to wash our other car afterward. But now, we're both disappointed and frustrated with the results." I called in the afternoon, and they answered quickly. After that, I went to Kwick N'Kleen and spoke with the manager. Honestly, it's better to stay calm and ask questions. He answered everything. I usually don't clean our new cars, but I did clean the old one haha. The manager even gave me a free car wash. I had thought the wax was something else, but now I know it was a zap, and the scratches might have been from small rocks when we came back from places. Afterward, I was just shocked by what had happened, so I'm glad I asked the manager. They were very responsible and calm. Remember, if there's an issue, stay calm, think, and talk it out.

I made my appointment 2 weeks prior so the fact that I wasn't made aware of this fee until the night before the service is crazy. I opted to cancel my appointment all together, I'm not a fan of how they manage their business. I'm also super disappointed that the gift my husband was so excited for won't happen until I can find someone else to detailed his truck - hopefully someone more reliable.

DISAPPOINTED - I really wanted to feel good about David's service, but I was super disappointed. I…read moreselected the full interior and exterior detail package for over $550, and when I arrived to pick up my car, it didn't look any better than if it had just been washed and vacuumed at a regular car wash. I felt bad asking the gal at the front desk if she wouldn't mind having the detailers go over a few more areas so it would look a little better, and she was kind enough to do so -- but it was still subpar. I didn't want to make too big of a deal about the situation, so I left. However, when I pulled over into a parking lot to look over the "details" on my car, I noticed many more things that weren't clean. Several areas hadn't been vacuumed, the tops and edges of the windows were still dirty, the wheel wells and side rails hadn't been touched, and the cover for my cup holder had some kind of dirt or dried cleaner all over the wood (which wasn't there before I dropped it off). The paint still had a rough finish -- they were supposed to clay bar it, but I don't think that happened, because whenever I clay bar my car it's perfectly smooth afterward. Even worse, they had sprayed so much water into my center console that there were puddles throughout the entire compartment, including on the battery at the bottom. Whatever solution they used on my interior dash caused a permanent defect on the plastic surrounding my gear shift. I did not receive a full detail by any stretch -- and in some cases, my car was worse than when I dropped it off. I rarely leave reviews, let alone negative ones, but I tried contacting David via phone and email 5-6 times and never heard back from him. He had one of his employees call me to leave a message, but even after I specifically asked several times for him to contact me personally, he never did. In my messages, I asked for a partial refund (as that seemed fair given the situation), but he never responded to that request either. His employee eventually left a message saying I could bring my car back and they would detail it again, but after this experience, I'm not comfortable leaving my car there. I wish David had cared enough to contact me directly -- ignoring my voicemails and emails is just bad business, in my opinion.

I went with a spot in the parking strip opposite to Aurora Avenue North (to the right of the entrance). The store entrance was clearly marked. Inside of the store, items were well categorized. I was looking for a carbonated beverage and spotted a number of bottled options. Offerings had a lean towards caffeinated options (such as Mountain Dew, Pepsi, and Coca Cola), and I was pleased to spot both sugar and zero sugar options of Sprite. I opted for a Sprite Zero and went to the front counter to pay. My cash payment was accepted and I even received a neat $1 Thomas Jefferson coin as my coinage change.

I dropped my vehicle off around 8:10 a.m. for ceramic coating maintenance and discovered a new dent on the driver-side door immediately upon pickup around 12:30 p.m., before I had even entered the vehicle. I reported it immediately. I had inspected the vehicle that morning and am confident the damage was not present beforehand. While the surveillance footage was too grainy to prove exactly when the dent occurred, it showed multiple employees working near the damaged area. What concerned me most was learning that the shop normally photographs vehicles but chose not to photograph mine, supposedly because it was a "custom job," despite this being their standard annual ceramic maintenance service. The owner denied responsibility, suggested the dent could have been caused by a rock--which a professional dent repair shop subsequently told me was not consistent with the damage--and declined my requests for documentation and footage of the work being done. I understand accidents happen. What was disappointing was how the situation was handled once the damage was discovered. I will happily update this review if they choose to take responsibility for the damage they caused.
