Sucré Table by Brenda Villacorta is a charming little bakery in the South Tampa area on West Kennedy that definitely feels like a special find. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted with a warm and welcoming hello from the person behind the counter. She was very friendly and upbeat, and I noticed she was doing the same for everyone who came in -- greeting each guest as they walked through the door, which created a really inviting atmosphere. The space itself is quaint and inviting, and the pastry displays immediately catch your eye. The croissants and desserts on display honestly look like little pieces of food art. Everything looked beautifully crafted and almost too pretty to eat. I actually sat down to enjoy a little "breakfast and a book" moment, and the environment felt relaxed and comfortable. They were playing music while I was there, so next time I visit I'll probably bring headphones so I don't get distracted while reading. I stopped in around 10 a.m., and parking was still available, but by the time I left a little after 11 a.m. it was getting pretty scarce. If you plan to visit, I'd definitely recommend coming a little earlier in the morning to make parking easier. What I ordered: * Salted Caramel Latte -- smooth, rich, and nicely balanced with just the right touch of sweetness. * Honey Caramel, Bacon, Smoked Gouda and Egg Croissant Sandwich -- a buttery, flaky croissant filled with egg, bacon, smoked gouda, and a hint of honey caramel that tied everything together beautifully. The egg was very fluffy and well cooked, although personally I would have preferred a little more bacon to balance the egg. Compared to the generous portion of egg, the meat portion felt a bit small for my taste. Even though I'm gluten intolerant, I honestly decided to risk it all for this croissant sandwich, and it was worth it. Thankfully I didn't have any bad reactions afterward -- luckily I'm not celiac. Their coffee selection is great, and they offer a nice assortment of breakfast pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and beautifully crafted desserts. I was also told their macarons are gluten-free, which means I'll definitely be back to try those. Next time I'd love to try a chocolate croissant, one of their soufflés, and maybe take home one of their beautiful desserts or some of the gluten-free macarons. Would I come back? Absolutely. If I'm in the South Tampa / West Kennedy area, this is definitely a place I'd stop by again for coffee and pastries.
A locally owned gourmet bakery in the heart of Tampa, FL featuring award-winning baker Brenda Villacorta and her one-of-a-kind pastry and drink creations. The space is quaint, modern but inviting. The pastries are truly the star of the show. I stopped in around 4 PM and parking was easy to find. The service was also excellent. The person behind the counter was very welcoming and even helped recommend pastries based on our palate preferences, which made the experience feel more personal and thoughtful. What I ordered: two pastries, the strawberry Japanese cheesecake and the goat cheese carrot cake. The strawberry Japanese cheesecake ($15) was a perfect balance of fruity freshness and caramelized richness with a creamy finish. It was not overly sweet and the fruit and cream notes really stood out in every bite. The goat cheese carrot cake ($16) was my favorite. I would go back just for this. It was moist, rich, and had a tangy goat cheese filling that created a very creamy, complex flavor profile. So delicious. The prices are on the steeper side but I love a baker who knows their worth. Totally worth it for the quality.
It was my first time coming to this spot and It didn't disappoint you can tell everything was made fresh and the service was great. I tried the pistachio croissant and it was so flaky and delicious, and the pistachio flavor really made it delicious it was a bit on the pricy side for pastries but it was definitely worth a try if you wanna treat yourself!
Ordered a Vietnamese coffee and the strawberry orange blossom croissant shot. The Vietnamese coffee is not big enough nor tasty enough to validate the price. The strawberry orange blossom croissant shot was pretty good, I was excited to try it, and the flavors were pretty good all together but I think I expected something slightly different. Worth the stop overall.
Sucre Table is aesthetic -- the whole space is beautiful and the desserts look like little works of art. The dessert tasted good and was really pretty, though it did feel a bit on the pricier side. The coffee was good but not great: nice presentation, but not as smooth as I usually like. Overall, a lovely spot if you're in the mood for something yummy and visually stunning desserts.
This place is soooooo delicious. I love a good pastry and these are the real deal. Sure you can a croissant a lot of places but these are the flaky, buttery legit croissants of France. It's a little pricey but if you've ever baked a loaf of sourdough then you understand why - it's a lot of work! This shop is small but they added a little bakery needs retail area that's very cute. It's quaint and quiet. A great spot for a coffee and pastry at any time of the day. Always friendly service with a smile too.
Such a cute place. Food was amazing and the services was good and they even helped us pick out good food choices. It's not a fancy place but it's cute. Almost like sitting at a friends house having tea. I had the egg and Gouda sandwich(no bacon). It was sooo good. It had a honey glaze on the bread! And we split the Peruvian, hot chocolate croissant and I cannot remember the name of the other one (the half red one) the nameless one was absolutely delicious!! I'd certainly go back.
Came here for a quick coffee & croissant break with my friend. Love that they take pride in the in-house made croissants, pastries, and syrups for their drinks! I got their iced pistachio latte with oat milk (5/5) which had great flavour and not too sweet. We also shared their Almond croissant (3.5/5). Overall a good croissant and enjoyed the creamy almond paste inside. Wish the outside could be more crunchier, it felt a bit stale and soft when we had it. I will say their other croissants and egg sandwiches look very beautiful. The prices here are quite high too, especially $6 for their canele...ouff
Sooo many so many options!!! The shop is gorgeously decorated!! The staff is friendly and attentive. The pastries are work of arts that also taste incredible. The chef definitely knows what she is doing creating these edible pieces of art.
In love with this place! Such a elegant, clean pastry shop! The pastries are all so beautiful. So hard to pick just one! $15-17 per pastry but they are large and definitely need to share! Got the passion fruit cheesecake which was amazing, and the chocolate croissant to go. You order and pay at counter and your food is brought out to you, service is fast and friendly and easy parking right out front, which is hard to find on Kennedy! Definitely recommend! Want to go back and try their drinks and other pastries too!
Overpriced and underwhelming. a cake cost about $20 Pistachio Chocolate Croissant Crispy on top, but the bottom half feels like an oil soaked cake. Not the croissant I'm looking for Canelé No
Let's get down the brass tax. While all the pastries were beautiful I want to honestly add my opinion. Me and my sister bought: * A parfait looking thing in a jar(do not recall). 3/10 was okay not worth the price. * Passionfruit cheesecake($16.50). 6/10 was tasty but something I won't ever want again. * Strawberry Japanese cheesecake($15): 1/10 no real strawberry flavor. Fell super flat but the barista said it was one of their top tier items. * Madeline($4 for 1): 0.5/10 It was a mid cookie, with no real flavor. I would go as far to say Starbucks packaged ones are 2x better. * Yuzu orange blossom refresher($8): 5/10 While the flavor was nice the glass was tiny and stuffed with ice. * Lavender latte hot($9): 3/10 My sister drank this and they sprinkled actual lavender flowers on top of the lavender whip making the flavor overpowering and closer to a soapy flavor. I would like to say I don't mind paying higher prices for higher quality items. I felt these lacked that. While the place had a beautiful aesthetic the ambience was lacking in warmth from the staff. We were helped by one barista who seemed to have a glass smile and no real welcoming spirit. He was quick to help us when we entered though and quick to answer our questions. Later on I noticed they had a shop and we bumped into the owner. She seemed equally annoyed that we were talking to her. I felt like I needed to have gone to prep school or invented an app to get any kind of warming presents. But hey, maybe we caught them both on an off day. I will not be rushing back anytime soon. Not in an angry way but just in a "why bother?" kind of way.
I am Sucre Table obsessed! Love that this is a woman owned business and the owner has competed on Food Network shows! The food is literal art and she always makes fun seasonal pastries like croissants stuffed with different fillings. The drinks are as ornate as the food and there are always delicious seasonal offerings. The staff is friendly and service is usually very quick. The cafe is very chill. I've gone there with my laptop and worked for a few hours and felt like it was the perfect balance of foot traffic without being too lively/distracting. I've introduced many friends to Sucre Table and have been a regular since they opened.

The food is stunning and also delicious! I ordered the dulce latte chocolate cake and the salted caramel latte. The cake was both so light and also very rich. VERY delicious! My cousin ordered the salted caramel banana tart and it was out of this world delicious! We didn't get anything savory, but I have to imagine that they're also delicious. Her boyfriend also got an Americano and said it was delightful. The owner, Brenda, is a gem and you would have no idea that she's such a world renowned pastry chef! She is so humble and just full of sunshine! She's someone you just instantly want to be besties with. The restaurant itself has such a calming and peaceful vibe. It has a very simple and modern decor with a ton of plants. It's like walking in and getting a breath of fresh air. 10/10 will come back next time I'm in Tampa! read more
What hidden gem on busy Kennedy. Definitely worth a stop in for some unique desserts and extraordinary baked goods. The decor is so inviting too with the green wall and rustic furniture. I love the little touches they've added like the gold tone cutlery that says this is not just an ordinary bakery. read more

I would never expect this bakery to be located in this type of plaza. The desserts are so elaborate looking you would think it should be at Hyde Park or something similar. I've only heard good things and was dying to try the white chocolate pistachio latte. The coffee machine was broken! I went with a matcha latte and the smoked gouda bacon egg sandwich. The sandwich was so good I forgot to take a picture to post on the review. The matcha was good I just wished it had a vanilla flavor to it. I also got a pistachio croissant which was sooo big. It seems like the coffee is a big hit at this place. I guess i have to try it next time I'm around. read more

First of all, I have noticed that a new place was opening soon in my area but I did not know it was a bakery. So, this week, I saw that a new bakery was opening on Kennedy & then, I figured out where it was. When I walked in, I was greeted right away. I noticed the bakery case right. Chef Brenda has created a nice oasis to eat some pastries & have a good conversation. I ordered the pecan sticky bun and boozy chocolate orange. The boozy chocolate orange is very sophisticated & light. The chocolate is so good & inside was creamy with the boozy taste. It's excellent. The pecan sticky bun was crunchy & just the right amount of pecans. The bottom of the sticky bun has a caramel which is yummy. Go check out Chef Brenda who is super sweet. She has really created a nice place to eat some dessert & relax. read more

This place smells amazing when you first walk in. All the pastries looked so fresh and beautifully made. Came in for a quick latte and wished I would've had time to stay, sit and enjoy it. The best lavender latte I've ever had. Topped with lavender whipped cream which I never knew I needed. So so good and carefully made. Wish I lived closer, I'd be a regular for sure. read more

We have been wanting to find a patisserie style bakery and this was the first one that popped up and had good reviews so we wanted to give it a try. Like others have said the place is pricey but we thought it would be worth it as long as everything tasted great. We got 3 croissants the plain one , chocolate one and the ham and cheese one. To me they were pretty average tasting and cost $7.25, $7.50 and $13 each. The staff was very kind and offered to warm anything up so we did get the ham and cheese one warmed. We also got a yuzu macaron for $4.50 which was delicious and that I think was worth it because it was big. Lastly we got the passionfruit cheesecake and chocolate praline. The passionfruit cheesecake bottom crust was extremely hard to cut through and I thought the passionfruit jelly was too sweet. I also thought the chocolate praline dessert was too sweet and the hazelnut flavor was overwhelming. My husband however did like both of those and said he thought they were worth it. I would definitely come back for the macarons and maybe try the other desserts but probably skip the other baked goods. read more

Instagram convinced me to visit Sucre Table. It kept taunting me to get their fancy round croissants... I finally made the trip to Sucre Table only to find out this is just a "special occasions" bakery item. Well that's a let down... I settled for a chocolate croissant that cost me $8.50. But wait, where was the chocolate?? While the restaurant was decorated cute and everything was displayed well, service was slow and prices are marked up. read more

Okay so I can't be the only one that'll randomly get a craving for a chocolate croissant. ANYWAY, I don't eat them often but I randomly wanted one today and I knew this place was supposed to have great French pastries and MAN was that right!! By far the best croissant I've ever had!!! The perfect crispiness on the outside and then buttery and fluffy on the inside with that little crunch from the chocolate, wow!!!! read more

Omg this dessert was the best tart I've ever had. My sister took me here and during the time they had ran out of most pastries. But we got this yuzu tart and almond bear claw and it was fantastic. Totally recommend. It's on the expensive side. I think the tart was $17 but it was so good that I got another to take home. Very cute interior. Make sure to come early so you have more choices read more

Due to pricing, 4.5 stars (rounded up). If cost is not a factor for you, easily a 5-star review. I had placed this bakery in my "Must Try" Collection months ago due to its excellent reviews & my love for anything sweet. Today I was in the area on business & decided to stop in. I'm happy I did. This sweet shoppe is open Tues thru Friday 9 AM to 5 PM, & Saturdays from 10 AM to 6 PM. Owner & award-winning pastry Chef Brenda is professionally trained in French pastries, which is apparent w/ each bite of her beautiful creations. She is a two-time Food Network Challenge Winner. She is also a graduate of the esteemed Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. Due to her desire for others to "indulge in the true meaning of the art of pastries," she masters in "modern, minimalist & flavorful" decedent creations. The menu includes 8 pastries & 3 cake slices. The $10 Chocolate Praline was WONDERFUL w/ its salted caramel; chocolate; creme brulee; & hazelnut. (It didn't make it all the way home:). The Devils Blackberry Cake slice @ $12 w/ its blackberry marmalade mousse & fresh blackberries was just as DELICIOUS. It was so RICH that I stopped after two bites. The menu includes 11 baked goods. The $8.50 Triple Chocolate Bread Pudding was VERY GOOD. (A sweet sauce on top would have made it even better.) After reading other reviews, I obviously need to return to try the Kouign-Amann @ $5, which is a Breton Cake. It's often described as "the fattiest cake in all of Europe." (It's essentially a sweet & salty buttery cake w/ a caramelized crust.) There are 4 "Savory" menu items, which include a quiche, souffle, & two croissant sandwiches, , there are Macaroons & Canele de Borxeaux-- a rum & vanilla pastry w/ a custard center & caramelized crust. If it's a beverage you seek, there are three Teas (w/ add ons that include Sugar Free); Cold Drinks (juice, soda, & waters); & Coffees & Specialty Drinks such as Lattees; Cappachino; Cortado (Expresso w/ warm milk); & Mocha. The eatery appeared very clean. There are a handful of inside tables as well as outside tables near the entrance. 24 hours advanced notice is required on PRE ORDERS, 48 hours for cakes, & 2 weeks for custom cakes. Check out the website to see all the choices patrons have regarding custom orders-- six different cakes w/ ten available fillings! (Currently, Chef Brenda is fully booked w/ custom cake orders thru October 2021.) $25 Gift Cards are available for purchase. Definitely a worthy bakery & coffee shoppe, especially if the higher prices are within your budget. I will definitely return the next time I'm in the area-- such a quality (& tasty) establishment! read more
This is a new business (at least for me) that specializes in designer desserts. Although I haven't been in the store (my roommate was nice enough to bring me what you see in the photo) I would recommend any business that can create such designs and with very flavorful food. The miniature loaf to the right is a very lightly sweetened meringue with the same fluffy consistency I remember from my mother's lemon meringue pie. The underlying wafer, although appearing solid, has a mouth feel resembling angel food cake while the pinkish layer over it takes on the flavor of the raspberry garnish. Even the gold touches on the fruit are edible! Needless to say it was entirely gone in about two minutes. read more

Oh how I would like to try EVERYTHING they create. The breakfast sandwich-how do eggs get that fluffy, and the Carmelized bacon?? Ambiance was perfect-live plants everywhere in such a tasteful and clean way. Will be back again when I get over the guilt of eating the cinnamon apple brandy pastry. read more

Visiting the Sucre Table has been on my list for the past year or so. Two weeks ago was my BF's bday so we stopped in on a Saturday Morning for some coffee / bite to eat and I am so glad that we did! I could smell the bakery from the parking lot. It was divine. Walking in, there are a couple of outdoor dining tables, but what makes it special is on the inside. The space is modern/minimalist, but with a cozy feel. We both ordered the honey caramel bacon, smoked Gouda and egg croissant sandwich. I think it might be the BEST thing I've ever had and I MEAN IT. I went back the next Saturday and ordered it again! The croissant is a perfect pillow of buttery gold that holds a heavenly combination of savory with a hint of sweet. I also had a cafe con leche too. Perfect pairing! The total was about $30. For the quality, attention to detail, and intention you have no doubt goes into the creation process, it is well worth the price! The barista was very friendly and knowledgable. I left feeling like I had an experience and felt pure joy walking out. *Chefs Kiss. I will return again and again. This will be one of our spots for sure! read more

After reading the wonderful reviews my husband and I decided to have a morning date here. We love pastries and these did not disappoint! I had the chocolate croissant and I tried a bite of my husbands bread pudding as well... I can't remember the exact name of the flavor but I believe it had a rum infused glaze. Both were delightful and not too sweet but full of flavor. The espresso was also nice. My only complaint is I ordered a cortado and believe I got a machiatto instead. I enjoyed my drink so I won't take off stars for that. The interior was my kind of style! Love the plants and decor. The music was loud and all modern hits (not much my taste) so if you don't like that you can always take your pastries to go (which is what I might do next time) read more
Sucre Table is hands down one of the best bakeries in Tampa. I wish it was closer to me but it's definitely worth the drive. The service is consistently excellent and the baked goods/drinks never disappoint. I am obsessed with their almond croissants! They are pricy ($7) but if you are a true croissant lover you won't even be mad about it. Especially because there is a generous amount of almond paste! The cakes are delicious as well. There are so many great options and they all pair really well any of the coffee/tea selections. I did visit one time and was sad to find out that they were sold out of many items. The owner advised that I could always order the day before to ensure I got everything I wanted. read more
All the 5 star reviews are totally on point. I've never actually said this before, but I would give Sucre Table more stars if I could. I never say that about any bakery. I am kicking myself for not visiting sooner. I've honestly had this place bookmarked for a while, and I'm so glad I finally got to try it. So, it's in that old strip mall where the Little Donut Shop used to be on Kennedy Blvd. It's in the same plaza as Chicken Salad Chick, Poke Burri, and Revolution Ice Cream. It's also across the street from La Segunda Bakery. If you haven't been to Sucre Table yet then you're in for a big treat. Seriously, these are high end, quality pastries with a beautiful presentation. The kind of pastries you can give as gifts because they are so beautifully decorated, and that's only if you think they will make it to their destination. I'm not gifting any of it. It would all be for me. Let me first start with the kouign-amann (KA) pastry. WOW!! I loved it so much that I bought another to take with me. I did not share it with anyone. I had it for breakfast this morning after heating it up in the oven and it was just as good as the day before. I've heard about this pastry before but never actually had one until this visit. All I know is that it originally comes from Brittany which is a part of France that I haven't visited yet. I'm putting it on my bucket list because now I'm obsessed with learning more about pastries from that region. I think I may even watch episode 7 of collection 1 of the Netflix series "The Great British Baking Show" to see how the KA pastry is made. Anyway, this buttery and sugary layered pastry is a denser version of the Dominique Ansel cronut. My description doesn't even give it justice. Just read about it. Chef Brenda is extremely talented and has worked in the best NYC bakeries. What can I say? I also had to try the sour sop passion fruit tart. Another WOW!! The natural flavor of the tart passion fruit along with the sweet cream layer of guanabana made this the perfect ending for me. I enjoyed savoring every last crumb off that plate. A perfect 10. The ube spiced latte was also a winner. It was made with coconut milk which really brought out the flavors. It's limited and it's not even on the menu at the moment, but they were able to make it for me. I appreciated that because it was one of the chai drinks that I wanted to try. Oh, and everyone was so helpful and friendly from the counter associate, to the barista, and to the owner/chef who was also there tending to her business. The tables are spaced apart and they even had a few tables outside. The décor and ambiance makes it a very relaxing and classy place to have a pastry with your coffee or tea preparation. They also have savory croissants, quiche, and soufflé. There's an online preorder menu and they take custom cake orders with some really unique cake fillings. I can't wait to go back to try a slice of cake and many other treats that I saw in the case. I don't have a single negative thing to say. It's worth a million more visits. read more

Came here for the Kouign-amann and was not disappointed. Truest queen of butter and sugar and laminated dough. Butter me up and call me a croissant because I'm telling you that I'm a connoisseur and these were perfect. Since everyone is so braggadocious, I too have been to Paris and eaten my way through many a pastry case and Sucre Table holds its own! I also got the s'mores cruffin and it was overwhelmingly decadent. The cheesecake was amazing and the lychee tart bowled me over! The pistachio cream in my iced coffee made me wish I got the pistachio croissant. Croissant-ing my heart I will return and 10/10 reccomend! read more

Let me start by saying that I'm judging Sucre Table not in comparison to other spots in Tampa, but based on my own experiences. Living in LA, there's no shortage of amazing bakeries and patisseries-- so while Sucre Table is good, there's definite room for improvement. I arrived right when they opened at 9 AM on a weekday. Unfortunately, that day there were issues with the oven, so none of the baked goods were out yet. They also weren't making any kouign amann that day, which was a slight disappointment. I didn't want to drive all that way just to return empty handed, so I opted to wait the 15 minutes for a fresh croissant. I also ordered the croissant sandwich, the pistachio tiramisu, and the goat cheese carrot cake. Let's break it down: * Goat Cheese Carrot Cake: there's two types of icing on this cake-- a regular icing around the cake and the goat cheese icing for the middle layers. The slice of cake itself is beautiful and while I like the goat cheese icing, I thought the carrot cake was just ok. Also the ratio of icing to cake was a little too heavy on the icing for me personally. * Pistachio tiramisu: Once again a beautiful presentation! The coffee flavor was good, but I didn't feel like the pistachio flavor was incorporated well. In fact, it seemed superfluous and that it might actually be better without it, which surprised me given I love pistachios. * Croissant sandwich: My favorite of all the items. My sister, who I split this with, thought it was a little too sweet with the caramel, but I felt like it really hit the spot. I would go back and order it again. * Plain croissant: Very buttery and flaky, but not out of this world. If I was craving a croissant I would order it again, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Price-wise, I did feel like it was a little bit expensive but it's because of the quality and honestly the fact that most restaurants undercharge. However, I was surprised they open at 9 AM as a bakery-- it's their prerogative, but I would love to see an 8 AM opening. read more

Best Bakery in Tampa Bay. A little on the high price, but you get what you paid, right? I think k it worth it. It's delicious and beautiful pastries. I have been getting their pies and cakes for holidays as well. Their coffees are very good too. read more
The most consistently delicious french bakery in Tampa. I'm from Montreal so finding a good french bakery is quite difficult here. I stumbled upon this bakery at the beginning of covid in March, when I was actually going to the Little Donut Shop (which ended up being replaced with this bakery). The owner and pastry chef, Brenda, is a lovely person and her pastries really show how much she enjoys baking and creating art with her pastries. I've had a good chunk of her dishes and here's my review on each one. I will continuously update with each dish I try there! Croissant: The best croissant in tampa! Wonderfully moist and buttery while having a crispy exterior. This is how a croissant should be. The price is a bit high per croissant, but the quality speaks for itself. 5/5 Honey Caramel Bacon Breakfast Sandwich- MUST TRY, that is all. 5/5 Spinach Gruyère Quiche (no picture): wonderful crust with a rich, cheesy quiche filling. 5/5 Kouign Amann (no picture): this is impossible to find in tampa (only in two places including Sucré Table) so thank you for bringing this lovely pastry here. It's a croissant with a caramelized exterior. Amazing 5/5. Goat cheese Carrot Cake: probably my least favourite dish here. The cake was amazing but the goat cheese icing was definitely a peculiar taste. It has a gorgeous presentation though! 3/5 Chocolate Banana Praline Croissant Muffin: this was a very good muffin. Only critique I have is the caramel mixed with the banana was a bit Smokey in flavour so that was a bit interesting. The chocolate hazelnut cream was amazing (like a Guylien Chocolate seashell) 4/5 Pistachio Croissant Muffin (no picture): a must have if you love pistachio! My favourite flavour croissant muffin! 5/5 Pistachio Macaron: a very good macaron but the macaron texture was less chewy and more crispy when I had it. The filling reminded me too much of icing, which I don't prefer in between macarons but the pistachio flavour was there. 4/5 Pumpkin Pie: Absolutely moist, delicious and creamy- but not so creamy that you can't have too much. The crust was to die for. 5/5 Apple Caramel Pie: Beautiful, delicious, tart, sweet and theres gold on it!! Wonderfully butter crust compliments the filling so well! 5/5 Gâteau Basque: This is not something you see in tampa a lot. This was the first gâteau basque I've had and I love it!! There was a layer of Amoretti Cherries! Everyone loved this cake. The custard was super tall and reminded me of a fruit tart custard, which is light and not too sweet! The layer of cherries was a nice touch. And look how beautiful the cake is with the gold on the blood red cherries. 5/5 read more

I've been following this place on Instagram for over a year so I was excited to finally come by and try it-- their reels show all of the things dreams are made of! Got here at 9am on a Saturday so expected lines and waiting. We were pleasantly surprised to find that while there were several customers, there were no lines and we were able To order immediately! Yes, the prices are not for the faint of heart BUT I am always willing to pay for great food so I swiped my card happily in anticipation. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches and two croissants for our little family. We were immediately given our croissants and my daughter and I immediately dug in, assuming that our sandwiches would follow quickly. We ended up sharing because the sandwiches did not arrive quickly... at all... Thirty minutes later, the two sandwiches finally arrived-- but only after we went to the counter to ask if we'd been forgotten. The croissants were delicious-- the sandwiches were just okay-- definitely not worth a 30 minute wait! Bottom line: worth a try but I won't go back! read more
