This place is located quite close to Laguna beach so there is only metered street parking unfortunately but it is close to the beach so it's nice to grab a coffee and take a stroll. The staff is friendly and there is no extra charge for oat milk! There's some small tables available for seating and fast wifi as well. I ordered a vanilla matcha latte with oat milk. All these years I've visited Orange County, never have I had the chance to visit Laguna Beach until today, this late autumn November 22, 2024 about an hour and a half prior to Sunset where I found myself here at Succulent Coffee. Just a short 5 minute walk or so from the beautiful Main Beach, this quaint establishment is as good as any to grab a latte and relax for a moment. I had the Pumpkin Spice Latte and it was pretty good. Not enough nutmeg or pumpkin flavoring but I enjoyed it none the less. Service is quick, sincere and reliable. There is limited seating available here and they do offer a restroom. All in all, a positive experience. read more

We stopped in early one Saturday morning for some coffee on our drive. This place is absolutely adorable. Super small and quaint. The employees were all very helpful answering our questions. The coffee was delicious and you can tell they take care about making a great cup of coffee. One in our party wanted an iced tea and they brewed that on order for her. My family and I stopped by the beach after a break from Disneyland, and I'm always on the hunt for a good iced latte during the day. It was my first time visiting Laguna Beach, and I was so happy to have stumbled upon this cute coffee shop! And a major plus for them to have a bathroom to use. I got the iced vanilla latte which was not overly sweet at all and they used very high quality beans. Loved each sip! What a sweet little spot! I wanted to find a local roaster on our drive down to Oceanside and found myself here. They have a small parking lot around the corner. The shop itself is bright - both in decor and windows. There is a small cozy seating area with a photobook of local pets that's visit. The staff were friendly. The coffee great! I came up to Laguna to meet up with friends and was about an hour early, so wandering around I needed a pick me up. I knew there was a coffee shop nearby and here I am. Cozy inside, with two two top tables, a makeshift couch, and some stools near a counter by the window. Nice simple menu, I ordered a latte. She: Would you like to add a flavor They have this housemade flavor called "succulent" which is a blend of orange peel, cardamon, and cinnamon. This is a really unique flavor! My only issue was that it wasn't mixed enough, so the first sip was just latte, but once I got to the flavor....wow! I spent about 30 minutes reading my book. A solid coffee spot when in the downtown Laguna area. My standard taste test is an Oat Cappuccino and their Cap hits with a brighter more modern roast with a classic cap ratio of coffee to milk. Parking is generally difficult for any business in the down town Laguna but if you do need parking, they have a lot just north of the store with 7 spots. There's a few metered street parking spots out front as well. The staff is generally friendly and very much focused on their task in the moment. The interior is chill, has a worn in feel, and a few fun community things around. Seating is pretty limited and I didn't see power outlets when quickly scanning - so plan to chill with friends or have a moment before hitting the road. The place was very small and no one was in there. I didn't like the way the table cards phrased don't stay for a while. It just didn't feel like the most inviting place. They didn't have any vegan options for breakfast, I had to go down the road to Starbucks for something to eat. Here we got a Cortado and a Lavender oat milk latte. Turned to Yelp to direct us to another coffee shop in Laguna & the number one on the list is this small inconspicuous coffee shop, walking distance from Urth Caffe. I'm so glad we did!! When I say it's small n cozy, I mean it's really small. The indoor seating is tastefully decorated with the sofas--it's like someone's living room or a breakfast nook. Theres also outdoor seating facing Broadway Street with a couple of tables (see photo). There's 4 designated parking stalls just north of the coffee shop, public parking across the street. One of the best tasting oat milk lattes next to Laguna Coffee Roasters, Seven Syllables (Cerritos) & Kai Bar in Kaua'i!!! It hits all the right notes for me. While walking around Laguna, we stumbled across this place and I'm so glad! We knew we wanted a coffee shop moment that afternoon and this was the first one we saw while walking. It was very warm inside and the line/entrance area is super crowded and strange, but the experience and drinks were overall very great! My fiancé got a great iced americano. I really enjoyed my brown sugar latte. My cousin loved his peppermint milk tea! They were super quick. The line was long when we arrived, but it went by fast and the drinks were ready almost immediately after paying! I spend every weekend morning walk in Laguna searching for my new favorite coffee place and let me tell you Succulent just might've hit the spot for top 5! Stumbled across this gem coming out of the Whole Foods across the street and stopped in for my (first) brew of the day. I usually get an iced oat milk latte wherever I go and this was no exception - got it with their vanilla syrup and it was the perfect pick me up to continue the rest of my stroll. This is a great spot to get some work done as well as there is some lovely bar top style seating right by the window for some natural light.
