The manager there seemed to be keeping a good handle on things at least and was professional and polite, so kudos for that. Also on the service side of things, I had to stop the waitress from throwing away my food -- a plate over half full -- after I'd walked not more than ten steps away to refill my drink. [She apologized, but only after I had to confront her twice; still don't understand why "don't throw that away!" could have been confusing.] The burrito and beans I ordered were edible, but so bland that I might as well have been eating packing materials. The accompanying chips were warm, but the cup of salsa was quite possibly the least appealing salsa I've ever been served in a restaurant. I've had Taco Bell food I've enjoyed more than this. And yet I had forked over almost $20 for such a disappointment. Maybe it was an off-day. Maybe the tacos are the way to go here instead. But I don't think they offered even a hint of a reason for me to try Taco Mama again any time soon.
