Sub Bowl
Richard H.

This is my go-to Jersey Mike's in Greensboro and I just left with a great experience thanks to Jayla and DJ. They welcomed me warmly and recommended some good subs but I actually opted for the sub bowl. The sandwiches and bowls are always consistent with fresh ingredients and great flavors. The place was clean, service was fast as always.Club Sub

Always a great place to stop and grab a sub when you have a crazy busy schedule. The meat and bread are fresh and this location is phenomenally quick even when they are busy. They have a great selection of condiments and staff serve with a smile!

This guy Carson gave me the best service from a Jersey Mike's Subs I've ever had. The sub tasted amazing, and he made sure I was in and out the door in a timely and friendly manner. Thank you Carson!

Walking up to the building it gives major deli vibes…read more Inside, is deli vibe on steroids. It's whimsical in decor, lots of seating options with booths, a row of barstool seating, lots of individual table seating, and it's clean. The staff are friendly and eager to help. My food was prepared as I waited and they got it out to me quickly. I ordered mine to go due to another obligation but next time I'm dining in. They have lots of choices on the menu with lots of meats, cheeses, homemade and salads, homemade desserts and so many drinks to choose from. I ordered the Rachel on a Kaiser roll, warm German potato salad red skin potato salad, and a snickerdoodle cookie. The sandwich automatically comes with a pickle spear (the good kind mmmm) and a bag of Utz chips. They thoughtfully wrapped the warm potato salad cup in foil to keep it warm and double wrapped that precious pickle spear so none of its juice could escape...and I appreciate the gesture more than you know. It's called going above and beyond. The sandwich was delicious! Pastrami, sauerkraut, melted Swiss cheese with a slightly sweet Russian dressing mmm. The Kaiser roll tasted fresh. The sandwich unfortunately had to ride in my passenger seat for 30 minutes until I got home and the bread took an unfortunate beating before it met my lips. Nonetheless, it was still a very good sandwich. The warm German potato salad is VERY GOOD. The red skin potato salad is good. The chips were fresh. And the pickle was fresh and crisp and juicy. They have good pickles. I will be back to try more sandwiches, sides and desserts and I recommend.

I must say they put a good amount of turkey in it. I saw they used boar's head meats and cheese. Also they have Dr.Brown soda which I love, very rare to see that options. Unfortunately I do not remember what my dad ordered but as you can see in the photo it looks delicious and he loved it. All subs/sandwiches comes with chips(not homemade) and a pickle. They have there own private parking and sitting on the inside and a few outside. Thank you for an amazing quick bite it's my dad!

Who wouldn't like an authentic Italian market with homemade Italian favorites?…read more The moment you walk through the door, your senses are on overload from the sites and smells of meats, cheeses and the aroma of garlic that make you want to taste everything you see. The gentlemen working there are so handsome and helpful. They were eager to assist and the service is top notch. They get you in and out quickly, without sacrificing quality. Dats what I'm talkin about! Their artichokes look so good. I can't stop thinking about them and am kicking myself in the pants for not getting some. Oh well, I guess that means I'll be forced to go back and get some. Ha! What I did get was the Italian Stallion sub and the Meatball Parm sub. First. Let's talk about the bread. FRESH and slightly crunchy on the outside, with the perfect amount of chewy, and pillowy yet dense on the inside. The BEST bread on a sub that I've found in NC. The Marinara on the sub is authentic Italian marinara with just the right amount of cheese, but those MEATBALLS...I've never had a meatball quite like theirs and they are homemade, delicious with the perfect seasonings. Yum! The Italian Stallion. Absolutely the BEST sandwich I think I've ever eaten. They don't skimp on the meat that's for sure and its QUALITY cold cuts all the way. And the best thing about getting food from here? Their prices. They have kept their prices on the lean side while still keeping their sandwiches fat. Love love love! So what ya gonna do about it? Go back for more! That's what! This is a 100% YES and I will be recommending to everyone.

My husband and I were in downtown Greensboro on a Saturday afternoon and decided to hit this place up for lunch. When they called the place The Bodega, they really mean it's a bodega. It's decked out like a small convenience store from the second you walk in. We ordered our food at the cash register to eat at one of their tables outside. The cashier brought our sandwiches out about 10 minutes after ordering. I ordered the Turkey Caesar. It had turkey, shaved parmesan, marinated cherry tomato, house-made Caesar dressing, onion, and romaine lettuce in an 8" sandwich roll. It was a little pricey at $15, but it was worth the splurge. The dressing and parmesan cheese were unbelievable! Since this is in downtown Greensboro, there is no dedicated parking lot but we easily found street parking nearby. The place has a few tables outside for customers to enjoy their food. If you're looking for a good sandwich, I highly recommend checking The Bodega out.

It was also nice to sit somewhere that wasn't overly crowded--made the whole experience more relaxed. The food is simple, but good--and the prices are very reasonable, which I always appreciate. I switched it up this time and tried the burger instead of my usual Italian club (which my fiancé ordered), and it did not disappoint. The burger was solid and the fries were really good. One small thing--I remember the bread being toasted the first time I came, and it didn't seem like it was this time. Not a big deal, but something I'll probably double-check on my next visit. Overall, Jay's Daily is a dependable spot for a quick, easy lunch. Definitely one of those places you can count on when you just want something good without the fuss. I'm happy to say that after my first time trying it last year that I continue to go and support it. The service is always great and my food comes out spectacular. I have zero complaints. It has scallion cream cheese, egg, bacon, and hot honey. I also tried the hash brown. I was pleasantly surprised because it was seasoned. Most times hash browns are very plain but this one was not. I opted to sit in and enjoy my breakfast. They had seating with standard tables and chairs. Anytime I've come in, it's always nice and clean. Needless to say, check it out. There are so many varieties of not only bagels but they also have wraps and croissants. So you can customize to your liking. Upon walking in the place appeared clean, the customer service, not the best. But maybe someone was having a bad day, I get it. I'm so glad I did check my bag before I left because they did not give me ranch or plasticware, man I would have missed out on some amazing ranch. The young man gave me three ranches which I'm so disappointed I only grabbed one. Unfortunately I didn't get the best pictures but the food tasted great. The fries were thick cut (probably frozen) and let me tell you, I would just come back for the ranch! They have my favorite restaurant ranch. The slaw was really tasty - good ole southern sweet mayonnaise slaw, not too vinegary. The sandwich, not bad, good combo of toppings, they paired well together. I' ll be back.
