It's hard to get things wrong with Subway. I had someone working at my house and he wanted Subway for lunch, so I placed an order on the app. That part was easy and quick to do. I arranged for pick up. Shared parking lot for the strip mall. There were 3 others getting their orders. My order was ready so I didn't check it as it was in a sealed bag. I made an online order, when my husband opened the sandwich the order was the wrong , so we had to return to the store and when let the employee know that it was made wrong, she started arguing with my husband telling him that it was the correct sandwich, even though the receipt had the correct information, and the sandwich didn't, when she was done making the new sandwiches, she didn't even apologize knowing it was her mistake, there is always a problem at that Subway, never again ordering from that location. It's subway sandwich, so I don't know if I really need to review this place. If you haven't been, then I'm not sure what to say. The few things i have to say are: 1) I like the iPhone app 2) On to go orders, the sandwiches here are usually mostly inside the bread, meaning if you order to go, and open it up later the lettuce/ veggies might be all over the place aka sloppy. The workers are friendly and efficient and I come here 2-3x a week, because it's fairly low calorie and convenient. A tip for the app: you can't order ASAP and get it ASAP, the minimum time needed is 15 minutes, so you are better off going there if you need it ASAP. read more

Torrance Food Crawl #223 I used to live nearby and I appreciated that it was open 24hours/day as I would sometimes get home late and could pick up a late meal. As convenient as that was for me it probably was financially unacceptable for this location to be open so much and today its closing time is a more reasonable 11pm. Everything here is very clean. I always get those coupons in the mail for the Subway breakfast sandwichs but had never tried it out. One Saturday morning after acompanying my mom on an errand we decided to try out their breakfast sandwich. We had the coupon we got in the mail in tow with us :). $1.99 breakfast melt sounded like a good and delcious deal. We got the steak and egg flatbread and the western egg and cheese flatbread sandwich. You can choose between egg white or regualar egg. You actually also have your choice if you want flatbread or the regular bread. We decided to go with the flatbread. Unfortunately if you choose the flatbread you won't be able to use the $1.99 coupon hehe. We didn't know this but the guy working at the counter was super nice and decided to give us free coffee instead :) since we couldn't use our coupon. Their breakfast flatbread is actually very good and fulfilling. I even want to say half a sandwich is sufficient for a nice healthy start to the day because after eating a whole one I was super full. This Subway location has the fresh bread in town, and the cleanest place ever. Everything here is just great including the customer services, I sure the owners here trained there staff very well. I have been going to different subway to order office lunch quite often. I only found this location since they were not able to make it right away even when they didn't have any customers but because they have to set up things to open the store, it was near 9'O clock in the morning. I thought that was not an excuse since they had multiple workers and they can absolutely make one small platter right there. Anyhow, I google search different location and this was the one I found. OMG.. I have never seen anyone make a platter so fast and efficiently!!! Edker is the fastest guy who puts up a platter I've ever seen. Usually at the other location, they put me on a wait for at least 20 minutes even when they can make it right away. Even since then, this is the location I go to whenever I need a platter of sandwich for staff. read more

My visit to this particular subway was disastrous. This sandwich assembler drop the knife three times and then he picked it up from the floor put it in the sink and finally got a new one from the back counter and proceeded to make my sandwich. I asked him politely to at least get new gloves ,which he did but he was going to use the same bread that he had touched with the dirty gloves to make my sandwich. The coworker told him to switch the bread. Anyways to make a long story short the sandwich was disastrous it fell apart as I was eating at in the car. Just went here tonight for some dinner. Never knew this Subway location existed, even though I drive by it almost every single day. Upon first walking in I got a friendly greeting by one of the employees. The establishment is pretty clean and kept in order. Nice little joint. The man making my sandwich was nice and everything went smoothly and very quickly. I was probably only in there for about a minute. I ordered the $5 oven roasted chicken footlong (which I posted pics of) with a bag of baked Lays. He made the sandwich very well, I enjoyed it. Subway. Who doesn't like a nice fresh sub?? This place is about the average size in torrance. Seating for about 7-8 people inside and 2 employees. When I went in today they were cleaning the floors... This place is one of the cleaner subways I must say.. at least today that is haha. What made my experience especially nice today was the girl who was making my sandwich. Her name is lorena. She was all smiles and very nice to take my order. I ordered my favorite ham and I asked for alot of pickles.. my fav! do they make their pickles some special way here because it's delish!! Anyways she was nice and kind the whole time and she kept everything nice and organized so my sandwich doesn't spill out when I go to eat it. You can't beat the $5 meals here for a footlong?? I went here for a foot long oven roasted chicken sandwich. The lady charged me for a rotisserie one, which is about a dollar more. I didn't want to quibble over the price, but found out I was overcharged after eating the sandwich at home. So I'm not going to return after I ate it. This place is just like any other subway except for it doesn't have the exact same smell when you walk in which is a great smell BTW. Their only problem is that they sometimes have their money system all jacked up so sometimes it won't work. One time I had to wait 10 minutes for the cash system to work. We love Subway and use them a lot when we are traveling, when they have a great special offer, or when we just need a change from our usual home prepared meals. However, this particular location seems to make an effort to skimp on every ingredient. Want a sub that looks like the ones in the Subway ads? You won't get it here! In the past they have even charged extra if you want a little extra of one item, even though you are not getting everything they have available. This has never happened to us at any other Subway store. Making customers unhappy seems to be no big deal to them. Although this location is closest to our home, we avoid it. read more
