As they are hurrying up to the door, a male worker who had been standing still, possibly visiting with staff across the room, turned to see them jogging up to the door. This employee, who had been doing nothing and standing idly in the lobby, quickly turned and took the few steps to one of the 2 lobby doors, and as my kids were ACTUALLY reaching for the door handle, he locked it. He locked it and strolled away. They checked the other door, it was locked as well. Walking through the drive thru is a big no no, understandably for safety reasons, so there was no way they could purchase this one blizzard, which surely took minimal time to make, and the way the employee shut them out without a glance, in a hasty manner, bummed these two young people out so much that they don't want to go there anymore. Not all DQs, but just this one. If this employee had been given the job of locking up the lobby at a certain time, then maybe he should have done it whenhe was asked, and notjust as a customer was reaching for the door. That action feels like a slap in the face. Imagine it happening actually anywhere else with anyone else. Shame.
