Bricks Burger 1/2 # with bacon, barbecue sauce, coleslaw. They don't skimp on curly fries.

Stopped here to eat as my mom wanted to meet for our birthdays. I've been here before and it just screams sysco processed food service food. There was a buffet brunch for $16.99. The server guy said I could look at buffet before deciding. Thanks. The fried eggs looked congealed and chicken looked dry. Other options were ribs, corn, mashed potatoes. Foods I cannot eat. I chose the Bricks Burger as it was 1/2 #, hand pattied, bacon, barbecue sauce, coleslaw and a signature burger. It was good, big and ate 1/2 and brought the other half home to my son. Also had curley fries. About 2 am, I puked up everything I ate. I will purposely not return. The server guy was nice. Spouse hated the buffet. Noticed other tables also ordered off the menu.

Food is typical truck stop food. Big portions for the price! Pretty greasy if you're up for it! Yum!

If you like being stared at by locals and truckers this is the place for you. Food was cheap and you get what you pay for.

First time visit for breakfast based on recommendation from another fantastic local restaurant…read moremanager. The homemade jumbo carmel rolls (to go) were a hit with the kids and were still warm when I got home. The server waited to have to heated up until I was ready to go to ensure they would be warm. It was a great touch. Based on the recommendation did the breakfast burrito. So glad that I did as it was a meal for 2 but filled with eggs, sausage, bacon, cheese, shredded hashbrowns, and maybe some grilled onions. Then topped with queso cheese sauce and the option for spicy or default homemade salsa. I did the spicy salsa on the side for my half and the regular salsa on the side to go for the other half. Definitely a burrito for two. When the bartender found out that this was my first visit she walked me thru the menu and the specials that are available on the weekend (limited quantities smoked ribs and beef brisket) So glad that a trusted voice recommended I give Sunshine's a try. Great food and great staff.

Ask for the spicy sauce you like some heat. The Avocado toast was also tasty. Dinner or lunch has also been good with unique options and chef made food. Check out their cool cocktails. I has a really nice Paloma that was absent the grapefruit syrup that usually makes these too sweet for me.

Beyond the wings, our sandwiches (with chips and fries) were delicious and filling. The service was all super friendly and helpful. It can get busy here, especially since it's one of restaurants that stays open year round, but lake country is all about relaxing and taking your time. They have TVs all over, making it a perfect spot to watch a game. Seriously recommend giving them a try!

We wanted to start off with the scotch eggs, but they were not temporarily available so we had the fried pickles which came very quickly. I am a pickle fan by nature and the fried pickles were good. They came with a spicy sauce which was a find complement but a little too spicy so we got an order ranch dressing as well. My understanding is the pickles are a little thicker than they used to be, but I was fine with what we got. Shortly after getting the appetizer we placed our order for entrées. Unfortunately, this is where things deteriorated, apparently due to problems in the kitchen. The entrées were delayed by 30-45 minutes. We eventually got a side salad and a Caesar salad. Neither salad was anything special, but nurishing. The artichoke pizza finally came and was quite good. The pizza was an artichoke and spinach paste base with chicken, caramelized onions, and mozzarella on top. This was hot and flavors a lot of artichoke, chicken, caramelized onion, and mozzarella were all distinct. The tavern burger that came next was plentiful and tasted good, but was slightly overdone from the temperature requested. The tater tots with the burger were warm, but could have definitely been hotter. The service throughout was mostly attentive, but clearly struggling with the kitchen service issues and didn't have much to tell us through most of the meal. The restaurant was busy but not overcrowded and they had plenty of seating so I don't think this service is typical and I think we got there on a bad day. Had we been given an option a half hour into our seating we might've skipped the entrées and just ordered more appetizers if they had been quicker.
