The salsa is one of the best I'd had in a while. You could tell it was fresh, and had just a little kick in and and the chips were nice and warm, just like I like em! I opted for the tacos with 2 bistec y 2 al pastor! I asked if they did grilled piña for the pastor, and they didn't, I was sad, but not sad when the plate arrived!!! The tacos were plenty filled with lots of meat, and the side fixin's of onions y cilantro. I asked for refried over the regular, because in looking at the photos, I knew the beans were going to be amazing. I started eating immediately! The food was sooo good...the bistec was flavored just right, and so was the al pastor. I'm not sure which I liked more. And that combo with the beans. Our tour guide ordered a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich which she seemed to really enjoy as well, complete with perfectly buttered and crisp grilled sourdough bread. I like them, but they are never my first choice. I love the ones with meat inside. Here, they label these as pigs in a blanket. They have a large variety of both. I usually go for a regular sausage and cheese, but over here, they sell a delicious pan sausage kind. On top of all their sweet and savory baked goods, they also sell burgers on the grill. Their burgers have made it to the Texas Monthly Top 50 burger spots. I have yet to try it. Overall, this is an always stop place for me.
