The two girls at the counter made my sandwich wrong, twice. They were clearly not paying attention... to anything.

2 stars because the food was accurate but the service was really bad. Girl who made my food was really rude. Didn't even greet me.

Jack in the Box emails me every week, so I thought we would try it out. The Fresno store never offered to help, only gave me inaccurate information. I tried the inaccurate information on our way to the Sanger store. Nope! The inaccurate information did not work. I went through the Sanger store drive through, and the very nice young lady tried to help, even using her own phone. But she could not figure it out. So I went into the store and saw the manager. He was pretty busy, so he turned me over to the nicest, most patient young man, Diego. Even though Diego was able to show me how to order the special offers, the app was configured to the first store. Diego said he would put in the order, and he would pay for the 2 free tacos. No way, I said. He said Jack would pay for the tacos. This was such a positive experience. We will be back much more often than we would have if this positive experience with Diego and the store had not happened. I will have to say the app is less than user-friendly. As a software developer and having written many app directions, the app needs more information as it is definitely not intuitive.

Advice to Taco Bell…read more 1 To Crunch That Wrap The most valuable of all Taco Beller possessions, next to a supreme nacho and baja blast, is the reputation of being a bean burrito consumer. Nothing so nicely eases a taco's way through life, especially in the drive-thrus. There is in ninety-nine percent of all drive-thru orders an irresistible urge to crook the knee to mild hot sauce, to defer humbly to the lettuce that goes with it, to see all sorts of beef with the crunchwrap that has it, or is said to have it. True enough, chicken goes with the soft shell, but it is chicken purged of all sauce: the chicken is afraid to do evil to the beef with sour cream in eight chalupas; he is even afraid to think blandness of him--that is in any flavorless or dry way. Against sour cream they speak incessantly, and all of the taco seasonings that he flavors with treat as if they were bland. But in the presence of the lettuce, he is burritoingly tacoing. What makes the soft shell so easy to discern? He sauces with a great saucing for an opportunity to tap the burrito's tortilla, and the taco knows very well, deep down in his shell, that he is too flavorless and dry to do it by force of grilling. So he turns to flavoring and tries cajun. Give out some news that he just gave a burrito some more cheese, or gained some more lettuce, or swindled a customer that needed more sour cream, and at once they will discover that one's spiciness is a charming flavor, and a burritos judgement of beefs worth hearing, and ones flavor worthy of grilling and extra cheese. The taco who is thought to be dry never gets a single order. No customer wants to try his chicken. No customer gives a crunch about what spices were used or how long he was grilled. No customer has any active craving for the taco's taste. I discovered this Bell early in life, as I have been ordering tacos from it ever since I was a child. I remember when there was a Long John Silvers connected to it as well. Those were the days! Sometimes, after I would get out of the pool and dry off, I would urge my mother to go and get me some hush puppies. But later in life, after becoming more experienced in the world of Taco Bell, I have learned something important. I have got a great deal more out of employees (and fellow customers) by having the experience of being a Taco Beller than I ever got by being nice to them, or by dazzling them with my Taco Bell app, or by eating hard shells, or by personal and custom orders. 2 The Bean Burrito Examined The more Taco Bell I order the more I distrust the known idea that the Taco Bell app brings better customer experience. It is my honest belief that I am not getting a better Taco Bell order today than I was six or seven years ago. In fact, I often suspect that my Taco Bell app makes me less appreciated as a customer. Just last week, I ordered a simple combo meal on the Taco Bell app. The new Chicken Bacon Ranch Chalupas, among other items and a Baja Blast. My order was easily recognizable on the counter. However, when a Door Dasher mistakenly took my food along with him, the staff did not seem to give a bother. I was standing at the counter for so long after this, that a worker came to ask me what I was doing. This is an inherently nice thing to do, so I would like to give some credit to the Taco Bell staff here, because despite the difficult working conditions, they still displayed some concern with my long wait. The worker asked for my receipt, so I gave it to them. They proceeded to take another 15 minutes (give or take) to make my food, bag it, and give it to me. The worker who eventually gave me my bag was a bit rude, but that is something that is easily forgiven. Certainly, it would be hard to imagine anybody not practicing proper Taco Bell etiquette. When I was standing there waiting for my order, someone came in and ordered their food on their phone right in front of me and then proceeded to stand in the pickup section. Do they not know that you are supposed to sit in the booth while doing that? 3 Chalupa Some of the strangest flavoring in chalupas have sour cream for its theme. Practically all Taco Bellers on the subject can agree that sour cream always owes extremely large amounts of itself to the chalupa. In support of this sauciness, it is almost always argued that if the sour cream was not there, the chalupa would not be as good. Even on some chalupas it remains largely a self-delusion, a soothing flavor, a euphemism for blandness. When a customer succumbs to sour cream they merely succumb to the habit and inclination of other customers. Their collective orders invariably pull against the true Bellers orders. Some of us can resist a pretty strong (cheese) pull--the pull, perhaps of thousands of customers. But it is only the miraculous Beller that can withstand the pull of a whole fast-food chain.
