They are incredibly slow, no hospitality skills in any of the employees either. I understand to go orders and large lines but an employee greeting and making sure everyone knew they were aware and sorry for the delay goes a long way. I waited 30 mins in line and another 10 standing in front of the glass waiting for them to acknowledge or even look up. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. Drive to Clovis or Fresno and spend the same amount driving as you would waiting in their line - at least you can listen to music while you drive. read more

NO STARS. I've never once in my life had a bad experience at a Panda up until I started working in Sanger. If it's not the food that's terrible then it's the not so good customer service that does it for me. I would say out of 10 times, maybe once was the food fresh (and I've never experienced that at any Panda before). The fried rice is NEVER EVER fresh. I hear rumors that they reuse food from the night before? And I surely do believe it! I'm constantly finding nasty crunchy odd stuff. Disgusted and never again. As far as fast food in Sanger goes I think panda does a good job. I think they are a little high on the prices for what you get but the food always seems to be very consistent and good The store always seem to be very clean and they have good customer service with a friendly staff. The portions seem to always change depending on who is getting your food, sometimes you feel like you got your money worth and other times you feel like them cheated you. We went to buy dinner & support our local Panda Express during this Pandemic. MISTAKE! The staff were confused, our containers were only half full of the food & they messed up our order. They either need better training or a better system! Patience is important & we have plenty but what we don't have plenty of is money to waste! I stopped in for lunch on Dec 17th 20021. I ordered take out, service was very nice, I was very pleased. When I arrived home I started to eat lunch and I must say I was very disappointed. Everything I had ordered was not cooked. Let's start with the rice, it was fried rice hard as rock, then I had chicken with string beans, you couldn't find the chicken and the beans were hard as rock, not cooked. Moving on to broccoli and beef, more broccoli then beef and both were hard as rock. Do your self a favor and eat some where else. I won't be coming back here. I ordered the New Almond chicken. I could not taste any chicken just a hard breading. It tasted and looked like the bits that fall off fried chicken at the bottom of the pan and were just terrible. I got the rice bowl they filled the bowl to the top with rice and very little so-called chicken that they carefully spread around on the top to make it look like I was not just paying for a bowl of rice. read more

The food is about the same as any Panda's - a greasy, salty, unhealthy mess that typically tastes pretty good. The two stars are for the overall lameness of the staff that night. I asked for two orders of white rice along with about $40 of entrees on a takeout. I was charged $3.50 for each order of rice (in a small container). Seven bucks for about 15 cents worth of rice! I asked the staff person if they might have gotten it wrong. All I got was a dumbfounded, "I only work here", dull eyed, empty reply: "that's how much it costs". Unfortunately white rice was not on the menu board so I couldn't point out what it should have been...which was probably free with the order or maybe a buck each. I was in a hurry so I just paid it. I doubt it would be that price the next time, but just can't bring myself to ever go back - ever. read more

Worst service ever at any Panda Express that I have ever been to. Took my 11yr old sister to get lunch during her lunch break from online school (due to COVID). We got there at about 12:15 only two people ahead of us we order two plates and two bowls. We are then told to wait for 4 of our items. We say okay we pay for our food. Stand aside and wait for our food 10min. later we are told that our food was almost ready to wait outside. Mind you in the sun in 108 degree weather. I say we already paid and if its almost ready why can we just wait in here. Why don't you ask the people who are just walking in wait outside. I guess that did not go over well. Got home sat to eat our food and lo and behold we have plates that are half empty. And my sister only had 10min to eat her lunch. I had a minor ordering/pricing issue but the manager Jeff more than amply resolved it for me. One of the employees name is Sunshine. How can you ever get enough sunshine? I absolutely love that Panda is making their family meals so affordable at this time. I'm an essential worker in mental health. When I get home to my family, the LAST thing I want to do is make dinner. Online order is $20! Can't beat that! We're a family of 3, and there's left overs for my son or husband to munch on the next day. The staff has always been amazing. The ONLY thing I have ever had a challenge with is the sauce packets missing for the chicken teriyaki and Chicken egg rolls! They're always out! I don't mind waiting, (on the days that's an option, sometimes they say they're out and that's it) but on the days I can't wait it's a total let down. I thought by now there'd be a way to remedy this? Or maybe I happen to pick the days they're out? My son LOVES the chicken egg rolls, so they're a must! (He calls them Panda Burrito's! Lol.) Panda's is consistently good Chinese food. Yes, it's "expensive" compared to McDonalds but the quality and taste is far superior. If you want cheap food, go to WalMart, get some Rainbow bread and some baloney. If you want to fill up, get the noodles and orange chicken. The Panda in Sanger is good and compares well with all the other Pandas, which are all pretty much the same-- except the small ones which don't have really fresh dishes-- they sit out too long on the warming pan. read more

Great food served hot and fast at as reasonable a price for what you receive as you would be served anywhere. I have eaten at every Chinese food place within 20 miles. Its great and you'll be home eating a hot food meal while you would still be in line elsewhere. The help is friendly and fast. Worst customer service! By the manager of all people! She was so rude. She was being so impatient while taking our order, you could clearly tell she was frustrated with work. They weren't even busy. It was 3 o clock! Then I told her the mushrooms in my Shanghai beef were raw and cold and she tried telling me that is how they are supposed to be. "That's what stir fry is." Then she rudely asked me if I wanted another entree and I said no I would like a reimbursement for my food. She turned around and began working on the computer. I'm thinking she was working on my reimbursement and she wasn't. I was asked by another server if they could help me and I said "I'm waiting on my refund for my food" she went over to the manager and the manager told her to take care of it and ask me for my receipt.
