As you wind your way through the antique store, you eventually come to the center divide between front and back- and there is the sign to point you to the cafe, but seriously, follow your nose. You can smell the deliciousness once you get to the center. The cafe is downstairs- but it looked like locals park and enter from a back door- like the building is on a hill and the basement back door is ground level. FOOD! There was a special on the board for a grilled turkey, bacon, gouda and I was tempted, but that would be a safe choice for me. When I saw the berry gouda grilled cheese, I decided to be adventurous!!! Sourdough bread, the bacon was thick and cooked perfectly i got the punch of blackberry with the gouda & all the flavors came together beautifully! It was a pleasant surprise! I also ordered hot tea- I'm usually running cold, so a hot cup of tea or coffee is always welcome- and especially since they serve Charleston Tea there! I had a cup of the raspberry tea, always delightful. Service was sparkling.
