Then showing him the Subway Melt on Subways website and being told that what was on the screen that said Subway Melt wasn't that it was an Italian cause it had pepperoni?? We were pressed for time. We were in between destinations. The sandwich came fast, the vegetables were fresh, the meat tasted good, the bread was good. For 5 bucks. It was clean inside, staff was friendly. Hate to say it, but honesty (Billy Joel said it's such a lonely word) plays out. The sandwiches were okay. This review is mostly based on the employees. I went about 2 months ago and experienced the same thing with the employees that my husband did 2 night's ago. The owners need to really look into these employees (2 females) they are obviously under the influence of drugs. Very very high (crystal meth) iam assuming. Very fast, eyes huge. Trying to say our order and they are talking so fast... in a hurry. Not letting us finish. Asked for subs toasted, they wernt. They warmed them for about 10 seconds. Cheese was not even melted. People were even calling from outside for their orders and they were mad about that and using very unapropate language over the phone. Went to pick up subway for a quick lunch/dinner for the fam. Because of Covid there are obvious precautions one must take. I understand that it may be hot to wear a mask but I don't think it's a lot to ask for when preparing food. The lady who was making our sandwiches had her masks half off which basically defeats the purpose. Went in to get a sub after work, waiting 10 mins in line while the two dudes behind the counter worked as slow as possible. My turn comes along to order, the dude puts 5 pieces of ham on a foot long. I asked if that's the normal amount that's normally on a sandwich, and he asks if I wanted to double the meat for extra cost. Since when does subway hardly put anything on their subs? So went to this location today to get a sub now keep in mind we have Cov-19 going around, and also I'm an ex chef so I'm very observant of everything. I walk in there's a young lady mopping the floor she's like hey welcome whatever so I get to the counter and a girl comes from the walk-in freezer goes straight to the gloves and ask me what would I like my reply was I would like for you to wash your hands please before handling my food please so she goes to the sink and washing her hands. Now this is where thing took a turn for the worst the girl that was just mopping who I've been watching comes from the back to assist with my sandwiches I ask her to wash her hands then she gets an attitude with me like I already washed them which she didn't! So I proceeded to my car to get my phone so I can get the number to the owner of the store they told me I have to go to subway.com to make a complaint. Before leaving I told them they need to be properly training on hygiene in a restaurant and that I thought the one individual who was mopping that I felt she was dirty! I guess that must of really hit a nerve because on my way out she called me a black nigger! Staff is excellent! Especially the young tall male he was very customer service oriented and even though there was a line he greeted me as I came in the door and said I'll be right with you. 3 stars is for unsanitary practice. I unfortunately got a bunch of tuna in my guacamole and I don't eat meat. And tuna was mixed into guac so I had no way of picking it out or else I would have still eaten it. read more
