On our drive home Sunday morning, we decided to make a stop in Oroville and try Big Foot Eats. What a fantastic decision! From the moment we walked through the front door, we were warmly greeted and shown to a comfortable booth. The restaurant is spacious, exceptionally clean, and has a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. Then we met Elena, our server--and what a gem she is! Elena was attentive, friendly, genuinely kind, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Since it was our first visit, we asked her about some of their most popular breakfast and lunch dishes. She patiently walked us through the options, and she certainly knew how to make a recommendation! She sold me on the Idaho Omelette--and I'm so glad she did. This delicious creation was packed with bacon, onions, and Cheddar Jack cheese, stuffed with crispy tater tots, drizzled with sour cream, and topped with green onions. Talk about comfort food taken to another level! Jennifer went with the Western Burger, featuring a perfectly cooked beef patty, bacon, American cheese, Bigfoot onions, and a delicious BBQ drizzle. "Scrumdidlieumptious!" is about all we could muster as our taste buds were doing backflips! Every bite of Jennifer's burger was outstanding. The ingredients were top-notch, everything was cooked to perfection, and the combination of flavors was fantastic. My Idaho Omelette was every bit as delicious and satisfying. But what made our experience even more special was Elena herself. She wasn't simply our server--she was a true ambassador for Big Foot Eats. Her warmth and genuine hospitality made us feel like we were visiting an old friend rather than simply stopping in for a meal. We also learned that Elena and her mother run the restaurant together, which made our experience feel even more personal. And, as is so often the case, my wife chose the right place! The food, the hospitality, the atmosphere, and the pride behind Big Foot Eats all came together to create a wonderful experience. I have a feeling the Oroville community already knows what a special place this is, but for those who don't: Big Foot Eats is truly a Diamond in the Rough! After Ed took some bites of his it became apparent it wasn't a Cuban Sandwich but rather the Cali Chicken Sandwich, confirmed on the bill. They open at 8am and I was the first one to order. I ordered the Country skillet breakfast ( 2 scrambled eggs with hash browns and bacon over biscuits and gravy). I had the gravy on the side. I was surprised that the bacon were just small little pieces with what looked like tater tots. You pick up the food at the counter and seat yourself. The eggs were cool to the touch. Biscuits were pretty good. The gravy made it better! Not what I was expecting but still ok. I only had a few bites and brought it back to my friends place. He enjoyed it ALOT more than I did! Manuel was friendly and helpful but the lady was was not very welcoming (Putting that nicely! ) It's retro inside and also serves beer and sodas along with coffee and other items. I think they are known for their burgers more so then their breakfast menu. I don't live in this area so this is not a place I will revisit.

Full bar Inside and outside. I ordered the Ahi Tuna and it was fresh and delicious! Love the coleslaw on the bottom of the tuna. They go overboard with way too many won ton chips..more tuna and less won ton chips! Always a great dish! Okay..now the cheeseburger. I also ordered the garlic fries. When I got the cheeseburger I noticed the bottom of the patty was almost burnt. I have never had a bad experience here! The manager came by (kevin) and I showed him the burger. I usually never complain but this time I spoke up! The manager made me a new burger that was cooked just right! I had a bite and it was really good! Now all is well again! Our medium rare ribeyes were RARE, our order came with no shrimp or side salads as advertised in the picture (the description doesn't say shrimp but the pictures said otherwise)...False advertised, OK fine my fault. BUT the salads! It had us select dressings and everything before check out on the online menu selections. Our "roasted" veggies were extremely undercooked and just hard, we paid for extra sauce sides and never received them and to top it off for a $55 anniversary meal(PER person) the portion size was very disappointing besides the rare steak. We called to discuss and figure out what was happening with management and the "manager" who she didn't introduced herself, was full of attitude and wasn't willing to listen or understand our disappointment. Visited October 19th..see my receipt…read more It's hard to find a coffee shop on Sundays! This one opens at 8am on Sunday. It is across from the Union Bar and Grill. It is open earlier on weekdays. I like all the brick inside and the local artwork for sale. It has a cozy feeling and provides indoor and outside seating. Outside seating is always a bonus! I ordered a flavored latte ( tasted like a holiday!) And a breakfast burrito with cheese and egg and bacon. I ate less than half (it would be a perfect size to share) to heat up later. It was really good..eggs were fluffy and I liked that the bacon was alittle crispy. Could have used alittle more bacon but still filling! They have pastries...burritos..and a lunch menu ( alot of paninis too). Great experience! Ps...Mattie did a great job and I appreciated her suggestions!
