They have inside and outside seating and a drive thru. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was massive! Full of meats and cheese and eggs...and so much more! Wow..good job! They have a complimentary salsa bar which although alittle small it had all the salsas that I like! It was a nice experience! Btw...the chips are complimentary...you have to ASK for them!

Visited September 5 2026. See my receipt as always…read more I haven't been here in years. It is in Oroville. The reason we stopped coming is because they used to have a really rude waitress ( Spanish lady ). It was so refreshing to see upbeat employees! MELEE waited on me and she was AWESOME! I remembered her from another restaurant that closed a few years ago. Still hard working and friendly! I ordered the steak and shrimp fajitas. It came with tortillas and rice and beans with sour cream. The steak had a really nice sear on it! The shrimp was grilled perfectly! Plenty of peppers and onions as well! DELICIOUS! They also have a full bar with additional seating at the bar. Although no outdoor seating the restaurant is very spacious! I had a great experience and I will definitely be back soon!! I also bought a children's beef enchilada from the childs menu with rice and beans to go! Ps. Free complimentary chips and salsa and bean dip

A friend and I were headed to an MMA event just north of Oroville and needed a quick bite to eat,…read moreso pulled off and hit Yelp to find something good in the area. Vallarta Grill looked like a good option so we headed over. This was a Saturday evening (about 6pm)... they were busy, but had no trouble seating us within a couple minutes (the host had to duck out to clean the booth for us). The menu is very complete - lots of options! It was honestly tough to make a choice. I chose the Lamb Shank, which included an enchilada. I was given the choice of ground beef, shredded beef or chicken for the enchilada. I asked if I could somehow upgrade to a shrimp enchilada and was politely declined. My date chose the chile verde. I also ordered coconut shrimp as an appetizer. First up was the coconut shrimp - first impression: I was surprised at how "flat" they were! Obviously it was intentional, but flatter than anything I've seen or had before. I jokingly called them "road kill shrimp" and my date slapped me. They were good, though, and I understood and appreciated the reason(s) for flattening them - more surface area for the breading, even cooking and easy to scoop up the yummy sauce. Next up were the main dishes - the Lamb Shank was good... imo, I would have liked the sauce to be a little thicker, but the flavor was good. I really liked the enchilada too. I didn't have a ton of the rice and beans just because I normally don't eat much of that - but it was good, better than I've had elsewhere! I had a bite of my friend's chile verde too and give it a thumbs up. I love flan. I was full enough that I didn't need to order flan, but I couldn't leave without giving the flan a try. I'm glad I did! The flan was very good, some of the best I've had in a while. Overall, great meal and I wouldn't hesitate to drop by again if I was in the area.

Solid food 3…read morequesabirria: Inside is super flavorful, lots of meat cheese and other ingredients. Super saucy and juicy, juice be dripping just from being picked. Nice hard crunchy shell. Shell tastes like tortilla chips, no flavor shells. Taco holds up pretty well, nothing spill besides juice. Good size taco too. Hint of spice (I got medium spicy), less painful and more just for flavor. Dip doesnt add much flavor, (personally I dont usually think quesabirria dips add much flavor in general), still nice to have. Comes in a nice size cup, and probably still too much since I barely dented it. Overall, delicious, filling, and cheap. Only problem was shell could be more flavorful. Extra Cashier Very patient with me very empty 6:40pm tuesday receipt looks weird, I was confusing cashier a bit, so got a receipt that takes a bit to understand I tried ordering and I quote "orders with 3 quesabirrias comes with consome birria ramen 10.00" is what it says exactly on the menu, I said that exact phrasing to the cashier and she didnt understand. I tried clarifying that I wanted quesabirria with ramen. Ended up getting no ramen lol. So menu kinda confusing they have self order no free chips and salsa there is salsa bar which looks sad alright more people came during 7pm tuesday Still doesnt beat my fav mexican place (la perla taqueria) Mid salad bar and no free chips and salsa gives this restaurant a 4/5

Before I swapped California sunshine for Cape Cod breezes, I made one last flavorful pit stop at La…read moreFiesta Mexican Bar and Grill in Chico and I'm glad I did. This wasn't just a meal. It was a sendoff worthy of mariachi music and a frozen margarita toast. Let's start with the food: fire-grilled shrimp sizzling over peppers and onions, the kind of skillet that turns heads when it hits the table. The birria tacos were rich, cheesy, and golden-seared to perfection, with a deeply savory consommé for dipping every bite a messy, magnificent win. The combo plates brought it all together: classic rice and beans, fresh pico, guac, sour cream, and cheese so generous it should've paid rent. The place is full of charm, too. Walking through the doors is like stepping into a vibrant fiesta bright papel picado overhead, carved wooden benches, tiled floors that feel like abuela's house, and cheerful service that made us feel like family. I especially loved the colorful little photo-op corner by the entrance perfect for capturing the last California memory before heading east. It's not fancy. It's real. The kind of restaurant where flavors speak louder than trends, and you leave with a full belly and a bigger smile. Whether you're rolling through Chico or you're lucky enough to call it home, La Fiesta deserves a spot on your regular rotation. And if you're heading out of town like I was, this is the kind of farewell feast that sticks with you right next to the taste of lime and roasted onion. #LaFiestaChico #BirriaTacos #SizzlingShrimp #ChicoEats #ItsTheLittleThings #ThePuddingCreekTrestle #FoodieFuel #GuacAndRoll #TacoJoy #FlavorTrip
