So we take our groceries home eat some and he asks for me to mk him a sourdough sandwich, I try the first slice because he doesnt like the ends, and it tasted very acidic and rancid. The bag has a date of 10/24 so it must be like 2-3 weeks before it expires. So thats not the problem. I tell my son I will just mk him a sandwich from left over regular bread from kroger we bought the prior week from another store n he doesnt mind. My problem is why did this sourdough taste so acidic and rancid?!? Thats not how sourdough is supposed to taste like!
