Shout out to our waiter for telling us if certain things had an up charge but almost everything we asked for had an up charge that was not written on the menu. For example, for my pupusa, I wanted bean and cheese instead of cheese and there was a one dollar upcharge. We asked for some jalapeños and that cost a dollar and the cup was so tiny. Also certain types of meats for certain types of tacos have an up charge that are not listed on the menu and I wish they would just be clear about that. The food and service were perfectly fine, but the atmosphere was not conducive to an enjoyable meal. If we had wanted to eat in a concert setting, it would have been acceptable; instead, we were hoping for a quiet dinner together.
