Could be new management or new employees that havent been trained properly but the prices of sandwich have gone up while the amount of meats has gone down. It seems the Wahaiwa location is still doing it the same so I really hope the quality goes back up.... I would hate to stop going to this spot in particular.

As a returning customer placing my second order, I expected a much higher level of professionalism and customer service. As the food the first time was amazing. I was prepared to spend $77 on this order, and the least I expected was the professional courtesy of a phone call to explain the situation and offer an apology, even if the staff was busy or unable to fulfill the order. Simply canceling an order without any communication demonstrates a strong lack of respect for customers and their time. Because of how this was handled, I will not be returning, nor can I recommend this establishment to others. Strong customer service is about communication and accountability, and unfortunately, this experience fell far short of those expectations.

Located at the Liliha Food Court, the shared parking with McDonald's is free! Inside, there's a common dining area with all of the vendors. It's quiet and nicely air-conditioned, with a convenient restroom! Service was super friendly and efficient. I was asked if i wanted pate on my Lemongrass Tofu Banh Mi. At first, I thought it was an odd question. Then, I thought... why not! Let's try it! The next question was: would you like jalapeños? My answer: no, thank you! That's a great question because you won't waste jalapeños on me! I was given a buzzer that would alert me as to when my order was ready. I the meantime, I visited the other vendors. Soon, my order was ready and I took it to my table. My first impression: wow... the sandwich is longer than the package! Next impression: mmm... this tastes super delicious! The bread had a crisp crust and the filling was generous! It spilled out onto my napkin which I licked up! LOL! The pate added a different dimension to the banh mi. It had a tasty, complimentary flavor! I went back to the staff to let them know how excellent that pate was. They were beaming when they explained that they clean the liver really well before they create the pate. It had a pleasant, savory taste... not the usual gaminess! Try it! You might like it! I'll be back!

It's cheaper than Subway but they don't have as many hot heros as them. I have to ask for extra mayo because their bread is harder and dryer than what I'm use to in a grinder. Timmy T's does a good mix of naming their hoagies after American and Hawaiian themes. Overall three stars. It's not my favorite but they are reasonably priced and close to base. Flavor is there as long as you ask for extra mayo and oregano :p M

I've always like the location of this store with the huge parking lot & how clean & well-stocked the store is. The eating area is good sized with a pizza bar, hot soup & food bar, & salad bar. For made to order food, there's a coffee bar with baked goods, sandwiches & burgers, wok bowls, and smoothies. Lots to choose from. We came mainly to try the new promotional mac nut haupia smoothie. It comes in one size only, 16 oz and pricey at $11.99. The drink is ono but I think the toasted coconut made it too sweet. The haupia would have been enough to give the drink that coconut taste. We each ordered the black bean & beet burger - my fave! It's very tasty & a good sized sandwich with toppings of your choice, very filling. I also ordered from the salad bar, the kale & beet salad - another fave! It's the only way I'll eat kale. Over the years I've tried a lot of their food. The baked goods are even better than Starbucks, especially the banana bread & the blueberry scones. Ordering is easy from the kiosks set up in the food area. Since it's all cooked to order, not fast food so it does take a few minutes wait time. Down to Earth is a great place to get some healthy, tasty food, give them a try!

I said OK I ordered the number 1BLT sandwich needless to say at 10 o'clock in the morning, I honestly believe it was day old bread. I'm used to soft puffy bread...this bread was bite, tear and chew forever. The bacon, while an ample amount , was thin and flavorless, the tomatoes were paper thin and a scant layer and the lettuce.....it was there. I asked for mayo only and no vinegar or oil. I got mayo again a scant amount. This was the driest, chewiest, most flavorless sandwich I've ever had from a sub shop. I've always said I never had a sub I couldn't find something to like but I need to retract that statement. This was the worst sub ever. 2.5 stars.

I grew up on the east coast and that sure did not taste like an east coast chicken cheesesteak. The sandwich wasn't put together properly, so everything kept falling out while I was trying to eat it. The grilled peppers were barely even cut up, some were basically huge slices or half a pepper instead of being chopped into pieces that actually fit in a sandwich. On top of that, there was so much grease or butter that it soaked completely through the bread and turned it into a mushy mess. Between the soggy bread, oversized peppers, and filling constantly falling everywhere, it was almost impossible to eat. I got so frustrated that I eventually wrapped the sandwich back up, threw it in the trash and walked out. I ended up walking over to Moku happy hour instead, where I had an appetizer a full meal, and dessert for only about $2 more than this one sandwich cost me. That really put the price and quality into perspective. Definitely not worth it and I won't be ordering this again. Should have asked for my money back!
