This is one of the best subways I have ever been to. I'm going to say it. It's THE BEST SUBWAY in all of Hayward. As a flat lander Hayward Hood rat I would know. This subway is one of the few that go out of there way; when you say I want extra they don't count how many pickles or olives I have they just add extra until me the customer is happy. Got to love good customer service. They can sometime be a bit on the slow side. But I always tend to get good fresher bread then other subways and there cookies are always nice and soft unless you go at night. I'll share a secret with you if you make it to end of my review. Anyways it's located in a pretty busy shopping center. There is always a ton of parking. I like to always take my food to go here. The customer service is fast for the most part but sometime they get busy around the lunch rush. The meats and veggies are always pretty fresh you don't see much brown or old and soggy stuff here they do a good job with the food quality for a sub way chain. WAY better then others I have been to. I'm a foot long guy and I enjoy eating here it's cheap it's fast and it's easy. Now for the secret. If you like to eat late go here before they close. Each night they throw away all of there cookies; they are not allowed to keep them. So you can play this one of two way. Just ask them wow you got a few left over cookies what do you do with them when you close? They will say oh we throw them away and even offer you some. Or you could just ask for them for free. This has worked for me 4 out of 4 times with both approaches to get free cookies. Just make sure you do this like 20 mins or less to closing. Don't go at noon like a Hayward Hood rat and ask for free cookies like they are not going to be selling them. For a Chain subway they have my vote as the best in all of Hayward The rest of the subway chain need to up there game and learn from this subway as a standard in Foot long feeding technology for all my follower yelpies and yelpiettes read more

How can you have a chicken Caesar wrap on the menu and NOT carry Caesar dressing???? So I stop in tonight and order two sandwiches, the second a Caesar chicken wrap. The kid makes it and then I can't help but notice he dresses it with like Southwest sriracha or something along those lines and I'm like, "Dude, hold up, I ordered the chicken Caesar.." "should I remake it?" "Well, YEA..." so he goes through the whole process again and then we get to the end and he's like "we don't have Caesar dressing, how about ranch, it's just like it". And I'm like "no, dude.. ranch is NOT like Caesar dressing". And he's all "well, I don't think he owner buys the Caesar dressing anymore", "BUT ITS RIGHT THERE ON THE MENU!" Anyway, screw this. Every week we received coupons on the mail, Subway is one of the participating stores. We placed an order and when ordering it asks if we want to we want to use a coupon, once the coupon is added it shows you whether or not the store participates/takes the coupon, this store says it does ! so we place the order. When we show up to pick up our sandwiches, we were told that the order was cancelled because they do not take coupons?? this is ridiculous, the web says you do! they did not wanted to honor the coupon, however; my account was charged?? so now I have to dispute the charges with my bank. This was the worst Subway I've ever been in. We were on the road traveling when we stopped in for sandwiches to go. We could not believe that their restrooms were closed to customers. I begged them to let us use them, but they had the area blocked off and the sign was blacked out about asking for the key. Then the people in front of us had some kind of issue with their receipt. We wore our masks as requested. However, it was a nightmare experience between waiting for the issue with the previous customer to be resolved so we could pay, and not being able to use their restroom. Went there last Friday around 6pm and got a tuna on wheat with mayo and sweet onion. The girl working was nice but she absolutely drowned my sandwich in the mayo & sweet onion. It was so soggy and disgusting, it ruined the whole thing. Once J got hoI had to get a napkin to wipe all of it from the sandwich but that didn't help since it was soaked up into the bread. To make it worse, the layer of tuna was very thin compared to usual, so all I got in my bites was condiments. I was in the neighborhood visiting my dad and just to kill time before my movie started I decided to grab a quick bite at this Subway. There was a couple ahead of me and I had to wait but not for long because shortly after I got in line someone else came out the back to help me. Service was good and the place was clean. Only downfall is that there is no restroom here. The sandwich was good but the bread did seem kind of flat from other places but I was hungry so I ate it anyways. I brought my own drink and the guy kept trying to charge me for it but I stood firm and I explained to him that I had brought my own drink. Had to point out to him that he didn't carry that bottle size on coke zeros and that's when he realized I was right AND he was wrong. Three stars based on the sandwich being fresh and tasty. First time at this location and I'm usually spoiled with the kindness and attentiveness of the usual subway I go to by Chabot college, however I was in the area and had to pick up some food. First off when I ordered my sandwiches, they screwed up my order and gave a completely wrong sandwich, then after that I clearly said only toast one sandwich, but they went ahead to toast all of them.
